ThunderClan Camp

First topic message reminder :

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep, and the senior warriors sleep in the center of the camp. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches.The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance.The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine wolf's den.

Streakpup mutters to herself, "I will leave tomorrow." And she gets up to the camp entrance and lays down to the side of it. She looks outside of the camp. Why not today?

Firepaw half-nodded but uneasily. She caught Streakpup's mutters and her eyes went wide. If this 'leaving' thing goes on, ThunderClan will fall apart. The firey apprentice growled slightly to herself. But I won't let that happen.

I might not leave tomorrow. Looks at the sky for answers from Starclan. They dont answer so she lays there and her ears flatten. She closes her eyes andfalls silently asleep.

"Well here it is one day Graystripe was trying to fish when he saw a beatiful warrior named Silverstream. They were madly in love so when She died a week latter from barring his pups he went to the mothers clan to live with the pups AND THEN WENT BACK TO HIS OWN CLAN. That is what I am doind sis." I tell her.

The firey apprentice's old mischievious grin came back. "Ok, it'll be all right with me if you do do that", she said in a whisper so that only her sister could hear. "Could you promise me one thing. Don't forget me, will you?" Firepaw straightened up. "Of course, you have to ask Phoenixfire for permission, Mossey", she said in a louder voice.

Echosong sighed and left Phoenixfire beside Luna. Trotting slowly to her den she began to rummage around for the herbs she would need to give Luna a proper burial. Finally finding the plants she had been looking for, she made a mental note to reorganize her den someday. Picking up the lavender and mint leaves in her mouth, she walked slowly back to Phoenix. "When your ready," she said. Lavender and mint masks the scent of death, but it also takes away the scent of the wolf itself.

Phoenixfire licked lunas noseone last time then nodded to echosong, backing up he sat down and watched with a dead look in his eyes. he glanced over at the camp entrance wondering if hawkpool would return soon, he wanted to talk to her about something.

Echosong nodded. Chewing up the herbs together she smoothed them onto Lunas fur, making her look wet and glossy. Rubbing it in until it all but disappered, she bent her head. Nodding to him, she asked "Would you like to help bury her?"

He nodded, still half stunned. his eyes glistened with unshown tears. he gently pulled his sisters carcass onto his back and began walking toward the burial ground.

Firepaw took a step forward but then stopped. Phoenixfire might want to do this on his own. After all Luna was his sister. The firey apprentice touched Luna's cold paw as the older firey wolf went past her. Goodbye, she said mentally.

Streakpup walks to the fresh kill pile and picks up a rabbit. She takes it behind a rock to eat it, alone. Looks at the sky and sees a shining star. Takes a bite into the fresh meat and chews it ferociously. After she is done she still feels hungry, but she decides to look around the camp for a mouse or two. She sees a vole and stalks it. She jumps out and misses it, and chases it."Come here you!" She says. Streakpup snags it with her claw to slow it down, then she gets in front of it and bites its neck. "Finally!" She says after victoriously killing it. She eats it in a few bites and walks around looking for something to do. She jump up on a tree and jumps down. "Firepaw do you want do playfight?" Streakpup asks, as fire was near her.

Firepaw smiled at Streakpup's words. "Well ... ok but not too hard." The firey female turned and faced the pup. "Come at me, then."

Phoenixfire gently laid down lunas body. his eyes glittered as he began scooping up earth his ears pinned back. his tail flicked over his heels with a slight sigh. he stared straight ahead as he dug.

Firepaw looked over her shoulder at what was happening. Phoenixfire was getting ready to bury Luna, he looked absolutely miserable. "Phoenixfire, I'm sorry about your sister." The firey apprentice just wanted to comfort him because she knew how he felt about losing someone dear.
