ThunderClan Camp

Subject: ThunderClan Camp Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:43 pm

First topic message reminder :

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep, and the senior warriors sleep in the center of the camp. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches.The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance.The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine wolf's den.

Streakpup sees fire get distracted and she leaps up in front of her. Strakpup wags her tail at the game. She looks at her. "Make the first move." she said.

Firepaw looked down and smiled. "All right, then." She made a sudden dart at the pup with one paw and flipped her over. "Now what", she said teasingly.

"This." she says. Streakpup kicks her stomach. She jumps on a tree then jumps on her back. She holds on.

The firey apprentice laughed and rolled over. "You've certainly got spirit. You'll be a natural warrior, I bet." She pinned Streakpup down with one firey paw.

A slight groan fled Eviepaws' maw. She was in utter distress, with her mother Rainstar leaving in all. All she wanted was to be loved and cherished, but in the end noone ever gets what they want. Eviepaw wanted to lay down and cry. She was sitting near the entrance when everyone else just played around or making small gossip. Eviepaw had mumbled something to herself, low enough for her to hear but not loud enough for others to hear unless they were close.

"I should have stayed.. Momma come back..." A simple small tear slid down her nose as she then tilted her head back. Intaking some air, she had released a small mellow mourning howl. The last howl for her mother to hopefully hear.

Padding back,she glanced behind her. Feather was there. She sighed. She then padded past evie,who was howling. I bet she misses rainstar. She then padded up to phoenixfire. Sitting down,she laid her tail on her paws. "I got feather,shes on her way here." She then nodded to him,respectively.

Firepaw heard Eviepaw howling and hesitated. Then she whispered, "I'll be right back", to Streakpup and walked slowly over and sat beside the white apprentice. "Eviepaw, I'm sorry", the firey apprentice murmured. She leant her head against Evie's, trying to comfort her somewhat.

Watches Fire walk away and say "I'll be right back." Streakpup half follows but stops. She waits for her to come back. Yawns.

"I am sorry about your mother leaving you", Firepaw said again. Then she shook out her firey pelt and gave Eviepaw a small smile. "Anyway, would you like to playfight with me and Streakpup? I'm your friend, Eviepaw and I won't ever leave ThunderClan or you." The firey female got up and walked back to Streakpup and then looking round and inviting the white apprentice to come over with a flick of her tail. "Streakpup, I'm back."

"Yay!" Streakpup says. She jumps on her shoulders. She smiles because she is getting more attention then usual, which was really none.

Firepaw smiled and shook herself. "Do you like this?" she asked. She jumped up and over the pup then landing on the other side of her. The firey apprentice then batted at the pup with her paws.

"Yes!" Streakpup says cheerfully. She jumps on the side of a tree and does a backflip-like thing. She lands swiftly on top of firepaw. Firepaw jumps over Streakpup and she jumps towards her and scrapes her belly without hurting her,(unless you want it to) after they land Firepaw bats har side. She laughs.

The firey apprentice grinned mischieviously. She was really enjoying the playfight, it made her almost forget Rainstar and Falconpaw's departure and Luna's death. "What about this trick?" she said, snatching the pup by her scruff and shaking her gently before releasing her. Firepaw then whirled around with her paws and jumped, turning around as she came down with a thump in front of Streakpup. She sat down for a moment to catch her breath and gazed at Streakpup with laughing eyes.

Streakpup grinned. She was having fun so she wouldn't stop. She lunges at firepaws chest. She jumps off. Then, she jumps oh her back then in the tree. I wonder what firpaw will do.

Firepaw jumped into the tree to and perched on a branch, playfully batting at her with her firey paws. "I like you, Streakpup", she said. "You're so energetic and reckless: a bit like myself." The firey apprentice suddenly wondered who would be her mentor now.

Streakpup smiles wide. "I like you too, Firepaw." She says. Streakpup yawns widely and the sun is setting. "It will be time for me to go to bed soon." She says.

Firepaw looked up at the setting sun and noticed that it was dusk. "You're right, but I want to show you this first." The firey apprentice picked up the little pup and climbed nimbly up the tree, hopping up from branch to branch. "There, doesn't it look beautiful?" Firepaw set Streakpup down beside her on a top branch. The evening sunlight bathed the camp and the rest of the ThunderClan territory in dusky light.

"Its is!" She says in a sort-of gasp. She yawns loudly again. Her ears twitches. She smells in the wonderful scents of the forest. She jumps from branch-to-branch to get down. In one huge leap she jumps down on her feet. She walks to the fresh kill pile for dinner. She begins to eat a vole. After she is done she walks to the nursery to sleep.

The firey apprentices leaped down the tree after her friend and snatched up a thrush from the fresh-kill pile. After eating it, the firey female walked over to the nursery. Firepaw stuck her head into the nursery and called, "Goodnight Streakpup", before padding into the apprentices' den. She curled up and fell asleep, dreaming of hunting and fighting, and of a shining crystal.

Streakpup says."Goodnight Firepaw." She curls up in a ball, a brown fluffy ball. Her dream starts with shining crystals, her parents, and certain wolves in starclan. Her ear twitches in her sleep.

In her sleep, Firepaw's ear flicked and she opened her eyes. Muzzily, she walked out of the den and saw Mosseypaw. The world sharpened again as she heard her sister's words and she walked across to Mosseypaw with a determined look in her eyes. The firey apprentice mentally decided that she wasn't going to be left behind that easily.

Hawkpool saw the two apprentices. "Mossy,why were you out there by yourself?" She sighed. Then glanced at firepaw. "Don't go with her,we've lost too many wolves already." She craned her neck towards her,then went back to her own postition. Wait,who will be the new deputy? W need to know before sun-high. She shook her head. "We have enough on our hands already," she whispered.

The firey atpprentice caught Hawkpool's look and understood. "Yes, of course", Firepaw murmured, taking a small step backwards. Hawkpool was right. "I'm just restless, that's all."
