StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech glanced back and snorted he stomped into the den and chomped up several foul smelling herbs. he walked back and with petulant force spat it onto shadowstorms side. the medicine wolf was like an elder only with more of a temper. he rubbed the poultice into shadowstorms fur and said "dont lick it off and dont move. those ruddy sunclan runts have been poking around!" he grunted "it took one of their own to get them back". he rolled his eyes. he wasnt a big fan of pups.

Fangclaw smiled and nodded. "I would like that," he mentioned, then watched as Shadowstorm started to stir. Then Owlscreech padded off to tend to the Sunclan deputy. "I'll leave you with your patient. But if you ever need me, I'll be around camp." Giving him a nod, the warrior then padded off from the medicine den and looked around. Some of the others still hadn't returned, but eh, whatever. They'll be back sooner or later.

Honeysplash blinked her heartwarming eyes and glanced over at her puphood friend. she stood and shook out her dark brown pelt. Hesitating visibly she made her way over to fangclaw before she sat down and said "did you see ripplestone and Stoatblaze at the gathering?". She tilted her head, interested in news of her former comrades.

Fangclaw's attention turned to the brown she-wolf who had made her way over and asked him about their friends. "Yeah, I did. They seemed happy, if that's what you wanted..." Fangclaw didn't know that Honeysplash was that close with them both, but since the she-wolf asked, might as well reply. But then again, it depended on why she asked. "May I ask why?" It seemed rude, yes. But Fangclaw was curious. So tilting his head a bit, the warrior's blue-green eyes full of question.

Her own brown eyes met his and she shrugged, "well Ripplestone was, well one of my few friends. its hard to make friends with Owlscreech for a big brother". she gave a mock glare over at the medicine den. she at current point, was missing the river, her heart ached for the sound of the river and splashing in its shallows. Although she thought her fur looked Hideous when it was wet. still she was never one for caring what others thought.

Chuckling, Fangclaw cast his glance towards Owlscreech. "Its what big brothers do." Shrugging, the wolf himself sat down and looked ahead instead of towards Honeysplash. Someone could practically sense him guarding himself from anyone, but a little socialization wouldn't hurt. "Stoatblaze was a good friend of mine, and still is, but it's not the same without them here." He had spoke his thoughts, considering they both shared something in common; their old pals.

She nodded staring up at the moon, "yeah, i mean before we could discuss anything, now its almost as if we are hushing our clan secrets to ourselves." she snorted "not like there is many". She hesitated, but stayed where she was, having a determined spirit to help her friend. she had seen the way he had looked at ravensky. She gave a shaky chuckle "still cant believe that Owlscreech became a medicine wolf warrior"

Sparrowheart sat in a lounging matter just inside the warriors den. She looked around and saw Honeysplash talking to her former mentor. She smiled a bit, she couldn't see Creekfire around for now, so she just sat there. She wondered what would happen next. Her stomach was at that awkward stage where it just looked bloated.

Shadowstorm nodded a bit, he wanted exercise, but he had to listen. "How soon can I go back?" He choked out between breathing. He was deputy and could not leave his clan for too long.

Dropping his gaze from straight ahead to the floor, Fangclaw nodded. "Yeah..." He managed to mumble before she mentioned Ravensky. Was it really that obvious back then? Did everyone know about them or something? "It's kind of odd, but it was really loyal of him to step up." He managed to say and looked from the ground and onto Honeysplash. "Was it really obvious back then?" Fangclaw must have been blind to have not known it was that obvious that there was something between them both.

She flicked her ears with slight amusement "only to a medicine wolf who told his baby sister", she gave him a gentle smile then said "well it seems that shadowclan and Riverclan wolves are finding that they love each other." she said thinking of Bluestorm and Lunapaw, as well as Sparrowheart and Creekfire. However Honeysplash had resigned herself to the fact that she was going to be like her brother, alone. not because of her temper, but because of her looks. her fur was Dark chocolate brown, it looked scruffy it looked mucky.

Fangclaw nodded, but kept his eyes on her. "It seems so. But we are one clan now, so I see nothing wrong with that." Breaking off his gaze from the other warrior, Fangclaw retrieved his gaze back onto the ground, his eyes cold and expressionless. Guarding himself seemed easy now, and he didn't mind. "So, how are things with you?" Thinking that directing the subject from him and to her, it would be easier to handle with at the moment.

Shadestar dragged his sister's body into camp. As he dropped her in the middle of the clearing, he huffed a few moments in order to catch his breath from the effort. Her fur was still a pristine white, despite the fact that she had been dragged a long ways from the Fourtrees. Her yellow eyes were wide open staring at nothing with an expression on her face. It wasn't surprise, though one would normally think that after being attacked you would be quite taken aback- but it was a determination. Had she known that by the end of the gathering she would be left laying dead at her brother's feet? Why didn't she tell him or come see him privately? He could have protected her!

Pushing these thoughts and the unnerving expression on his sister's face aside, he walked over to the front of her face and used his paws to close her eyes. She looked much more peaceful that way, as if she was only sleeping and would be awake soon. This was when Shadestar finally realized it: she was never coming back. After her long disappearance to who-knows-where without telling anyone, she had finally returned to StormClan only to be viciously killed by an unknown shadow in the night below the full moon of a supposedly StarClan-protected clearing. These thoughts made his mind return to the words his sister had told him. He was always one to be viciously protective of the rules that StarClan had foretold, so could he believe his dying sister? Was it all some kind of sick joke just to make him go insane? These troubled thoughts whirled through his brain, and he knew that he would never know the answers to all or even most of his questions.

Slypup had been watching the other wolves from just inside the nusery instead of sleeping like he should have. It was hard to sleep with so much going on and he had to do somthing. He watched as the huge black wolf dragged a white one into the clearing. Something was wrong! Deciding to be brave, he got up and walked over to investigate.

Snowstorm noticed Shadestar as he dragged his dead sister into the clearing. He turned to the large black leader and the look in his eyes changed to sorrow for his leader. Snowstorm could not bear it if he lost Silverheart, his mate. And losing your sister would probably be just as hard. The white warrior watched as Shadestar stood over Lightdawn. Snowstorm had not known Lightdawn very well, but he was still sad for the loss of her life.

Slypup noticed a differnet white wolf watching the black one too and decided to head over to him to find out what was happening. He started to walk over to the white wolf but ran the last few feet and jumped to try and catch his tail like warriors would do to prey.

Snowstorm had not noticed Slypup and jumped a bit as the pup grabbed his tail. He looked back at the pup and smiled. He flicked his tail, forcing Slypup to let go of it. "Hello." He said in a friendly tone, turning to the pup. "Hunting for prey are you?" The large white wolf chuckled. "You must have done well at stalking my tail for your age, because I didn't even notice you." He gazed down at the pup, hiding the sadness about Lightdawn's death in his eyes. Snowstorm had always liked pups.

"Hello, who are you?" Slypup sat down hard sending up a puff of dirt and eyed the tail he attacked, watching to see if it moved. He liked this wolf but wouldn't be easily bested by a tail. Remembering why he came over he also asked "What happened to the white wolf on the ground?" With the tilt of his head he waited for the answers.

"My name is Snowstorm." He said, still smiling. But his smile disappeared when Slypup asked him what had happened to Lightdawn. "Oh..." He said, looking for the right words to tell the pup. "Well, she got injured very badly at the gathering just barely, and...and she couldn't be healed." He glanced over at Shadestar standing over Lightdawn's lifeless body, then turned his attention back to Slypup. "What's your name?" Snowstorm asked, trying to change the subject.

"Slypup!" he said but noticed the change in subject and Snowstorm's mood. Slypup looked back at the wolf on the ground and realized the life was gone and it was sad. Loosing his sudden excitment, his tail dropped and he looked at the ground. Not so excited about his adventure, he mumbled his apologies to snowstorm. Knowing he should have mined his manners he looked back at the nurser wishing he never left.

Snowstorm, still trying to change the subject, said, "Nice to meet you Slypup." But then Slypup apologized and turned back to the nursery. "There's no need to apologize Slypup." He said, going up beside the pup and draping his fluffy white tail over him in a comforting way. "Come on, let's go over there and have a little fight." The white wolf said, pointing to a corner of the camp with his muzzle and limping over there. He hoped that Slypup would not notice the gash in his left back leg and all his torn off fur and not want to play fight.

Noticing the oportunity to practice, Slypup ran at full speed and passed Snowstorm skitting to a stop and almost hitting a tree. Not noticing the he was now brown from dirt, he waited patiently for the other wolf to meet him and already planning a full on attack. Slypup fully forgot his previous sorrow and ready to begin any practice to become the best to protect his clan.

Honeysplash shrugged and said softly to Fangclaw, "Yeah i guess i have been fine". her eyes glittered a little sadly. she lay down next to Fangclaw and murmured "dont hide away your feelings, i want to help you". she glanced down at her paws shyly.

Fangclaw nodded and looked at the brown wolf beside her and sighed. "How can you do that?" His voice was soft, but it had only lasted for a while when he looked back up at the white pelted wolf that lay dead on the floor. "Poor Lightdawn." Of course Fangclaw never knew the wolf, but he guessed it was an important death to Shadestar. Anyways, turning his attention back to Honeysplash, Fangclaw sighed once more.

Snowstorm held back a chuckle when Slypup flew past him and nearly hit a tree. He arrived to where the pup was, and got into a playful crouch. "Ready?" He asked playfully. He was glad that he had succeeded in taking the pup's mind off of what it was on previously. But even though he hid it, Snowstorm would not be able to push it away.

Slypup got into his ready position and prepared for battle. He decided that replying would be unimpotant and went for the suprise attack. He lauched foward to bite at the bigger wolf's paws. Trying to go fast and get a good bite in.
