StormClan Camp

First topic message reminder :

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Silverheart; In the roleplay, at the Gathering everything was going normally until a wolf came out of what seemed like no where, attacking and killing Lightdawn (Shadestar's sister), and thus ended the Gathering. Since then, wolves from other Clans have continued to come to the StormClan camp for some reason, from ThunderClan and SunClan; the SunClan wolves came because Shadowstorm was injured and is healing in the StormClan medicine den. There have been three new apprentices; Slypaw, Kiwipaw, and Achakpaw, Lunapaw is now a warrior named Lunalight, and Snowstorm became the deputy. There is also a new litter of pups, born to Skyfeather. There was also battles against some rats earlier by two small patrols, though I don't think that is a problem now. I hope that helps! ]

Her ice blue eyes snapped open and her fur stood on end. Her numb toes twitched and she shifted in her spot. Looking down she realized it was all a dream, everything was fine. Yawning she then peeked out of the den entrance seeing there was light. How long had she been asleep? Shrugging she nipped at an old piece if prey from the previous days. After being in here for so long she had lost track of the days. Soon she would have to return back to her duties and let her pups go off to train. It was about time, but then again did she really want to see them grow up so fast? Licking her muzzle she drank in the scent of the nursery and her own pups. It had become so familiar and it was no longer fresh kill and the forest.

Slypaw arrived in camp before Bluestorm who was carrying the prey from his hunt. He was proud that he had helped his clan with food for a while. With the wind blowing Slypaw waited at the camp entrence for his mentor. He hoped that Skyfeather was still okay.

Dragging the large doe,he kicked up dust on his trail. His sleek blue pelt had turned to a darker shade. And had a more ruffled appearance. Appearing in front of the entrance,he took a brisk glanced at his apprentice,then turned back to the fresh-kill pile. He set it down and took a deep breath and shook his head, then glanced back at his apprentice and gave him a short nod. His gaze was distracted to the nursery. He smelt blood,but there were no more screeches of pain. He flicked his ears and blinked. He glanced around. I wonder where Luna is. I keep missing her. He shrugged and went to the den. Then stopping in his tracks,he turned and went to Slypaw. "Get some rest. I'm sure your tired after hunting. Taking down large prey like that takes a bit of strength out of you." he nooded to his apprentice. He then flicked his tail and went back to the den. Quickly settling his paws through the white glimmering snow. His red eyes dull with tiredness. Entering the den,he felt warmth flush his cheeks. And it run through his legs. He sighed and went to his nest. Laying down,he yawned and wrapped his tail around himself. Keeping the warmth in his body. He then closed his eyes,seeing the snow fade from his eyes..

Honeysplash awoke at Bluestorms collapse into his nest. she stood and quietly slipped out of the den. bracing her forepaws on the frozen earth she stretched and gave a yawn. lifting her head she sighed with relief that Skyfeathers painfull birth was over. she trotted over to the fresh kill pile and took a few hearty bites of the large doe. she felt the blood wash over her dark fur as she continued eating.

After Lunalight's vigil was over she took a walk somewhere away from the camp. She wanted to go away from the painful yelp and the intruders. It was true that Shadestar already asked Feathersoul not to come here anymore as well as the others of Thunderclan but the young warrior needed piece.
After the long break she took she returned in the camp. She glanced at the fresh-kill pile and saw a large doe. Good job she tought. Then with slow moves she got near the old log which she used as den and took the moss on which she used to sleep. It was time to make a new nest in the warrior's den. While walking to the den she took some more moss, making sure it is dry, and slowly entered the den. A smile crossed her muzzle when she saw Bluestorm sleeping. She made her nest near his one but she was really careful so she won't wake him up. When she was done, she laid on the soft moss and placed her head on her paws.

Honeysplash let out a slight yawn then glanced about for someone to ask to hunt with her. She noted lunalight going to make her new nest and smiled proudly. She often times felt like the mother of the clan. loving everyone as family and wanting them all to succed. she frowned a little as she recalled Nightfeathers disappearance, she wondered how shadestar was coping with all of the troubles. she stood from her meal and quickly wiped her muzzle on some clean snow before going in search of shadestar.

Slypaw watched Bluestorm go to his den and then watched lunalight move hers. Slypaw went and got some moss and headed over to take her spot. Luckily she had her spot near where Slypaw could leave without waking anyone if he couldn't sleep long. Slypaw layed down with his head on his paws and fell into a light sleep. Anything could wake him and it would not take much. Even someone walking by could wake him up.

Snowstorm smiled as Silverheart awoke. "Hello my love," he said, giving her a gentle lick on the top of her head. "How are you doing?" He asked. He glanced at their pups. They were healthy and strong. Soon they would be apprentices, training hard to become warriors. The white warrior remembered when he had been an apprentice. And now he had his own pups who would be soon.

Shadestar watched the comings and going of the camp and nodded in approval as Slypaw and Bluestorm returned to camp with a doe. They had followed orders well, and it was good that they were able to preoccupy themselves with something other than the birthing at the moment. Flicking his tail lightly on the ground, he sighed and thought of all the things that had occurred over the past couple days. It was hard to believe it had all gone by so fast.

Darkpup yawned. This is so boring, he thought. Other pups are so lazy. He stood up and padded around camp, looking for something to do. But he couldn't find anything. He let out a growl that was very low for a pup, before he spotted Shadestar. Isn't that one of the leaders? The pup wondered. He crept a bit closer to get a better look at the large leader. He looks a lot like me. Except he has gold eyes. He sat down and stared at the leader, his blood-red eyes watching Shadestar's every move.

Magmafeather, while eating a mouse, looked toward Snowstorm and Silverheart. He remembered when Silverheart had been his apprentice, back when he was young and could hear well from both ears. It was a pleasant memory. Newleaf would come soon, and the breakup of the alliance with it, provided that there was no new unifying common enemy by then. Suddenly, he found himself drawn to Darkpup. He looked at his red eyes momentarily, noting that it was a very rare thing, to have red eyes. Was this a bad omen of sorts? Looking for an answer, he secretly watched the pup's actions.

Out of the corner of his eye, Darkpup caught site of Magmafeather watching him. He turned his head toward the senior warrior and bared his teeth, snarling. He knew that the warrior was looking at his blood-red eyes. Probably thinking that he was a bad omen. The very large black pup turned away and padded to a corner of camp, sitting down and glaring at Magmafeather through the shadows.

Slypaw woke slowly when he heard the low growl of a pup. He never opened his eyes but instead listened to what the pup did. The pup seemed defencive and snarled at at Magmafeather. Magmafeather was not one to mess with and this pup needed to learn respect fast. Darkpup might be large for his age but was still small compared to a full grown wolf. Slypaw would keep on eye on this pup and see how he acted further. Slypaw's ears were the only thing moving but otherweise he still looked asleep.
