The boundary between WindClan and StormClan

He dropped the mouse so that it was at her paw. "So are you going to cross?" He asked. "If you are im coming too." He then said. "I guess you kinda need protection." He then felt embarrassed. "I hope that didn't insult you. You are a great fighter Ravenpaw."

She blinked her thanks then delicatly ate the mouse. licking her chops she said "no its true i do need protection from predators, i cannot fight, i can only run heal and use my skill with words" she smiled at her friend and lightly nipped his ear before standing and heading towards windclans camp

Almost instinctively, Tallfeather found his paws leading to the Shadowclan border. When he realized where he was, he let out another sigh, frustrated with himself and the emotions that he couldn't contain. Tallfeather knew that essentially this wasn't his fault, but it didn't' change the wrong of what he was doing, and he sat down a few paces from the border, staring into the thick undergrowth and losing himself in a maelstrom of thought.

Skyfeather trotted around dazedly in her thoughts. They were all over the place. What if she and Tallfeather ever wanted something more than they already had? What would happen? What would they do if they were fore to forget their feelings? Would Shadestar and Russetstar banish them? Or forbid them from ever seeing each other again?

With so many thoughts filling her brain, Sky didn't realize where she was going until she looked around. WindClan border. Great. she thought sarcastically Just what I need right now, more reminders. With a frustrated sigh the she-wolf fell to the ground she was standing above, not caring anymore about the world moving around her. Did it really matter? She sighed again though it came out shaking. When did her life become so complicated?

Tallfeather tensed as a new scent pervaded his senses, drifting from somewhere across the border. Alarmed that a Shadowclan wolf may be patrolling nearby and knowing that straying so close to the border would get him in trouble, Tallfeather pressed his belly against the ground and was slowly creeping backwards when he suddenly identified the scent. Forgetting the thoughts he'd struggled with not moments before, Tallfeather hopped to his paws and peered vehemently into the undergrowth marking the border. "Skyfeather?" He hissed, somewhat cautiously but hopeful all the same.

The white wolf's ears perked up at the familiar voice of her friend -mate, whatever he was to her - coming from the border. She picked herself off the ground and slowly crept over to where the voice was coming from. "Tallfeather?" she asked cautiously in reply. She trotted over to where the male wolf was at the border, a large grin plastered across her face, "Tallfeather!" she exclaimed, her tail wagging like a pup's.

Relief flooded Tallfeather as Skyfeather bounded out of the undergrowth and into the open -- and a much stronger feeling, as well. Clearing the remaining space between them, Tallfeather let a wide grin curl his muzzle and pressed his muzzle against the Shadowclan wolf's, staying silent and letting the simple notion convey what he couldn't put into words. That familiar sense of guilt and betrayal was nagging insistently at his mind, but he pushed the feeling away.

Direblood raced up the cougar yowling it raced off towards highstones. panting the newly named warrior glanced at the two lovebirds. his eyes widened and he said "you two... are breakin the warrior code... i wont say anythin though" he said hastily. padding over he sait down and said "what if the leaders find out?" he tilted his head.

Skyfeather's smiled widened so much that it hurt but the pain was numb compared to how happy she was. She nuzzled his neck, breathing in his scent. He smelled like freshly grown grass and pine after a rain storm. It was soothing to her. Made her relax into his neck with a smile but all that went away when she heard another voice -not of her clan so it had to be WindClan- come up to them.

For a moment, Tallfeather was totally still, wishing he could stay enveloped in Skyfeather's white fur and this single moment forever. He was overwhelmed by happiness, the kind he only felt when around this she-wolf, and the fierce, nagging thoughts of guilt were momentarily banished from his mind. Tallfeather considered himself a loyal wolf, a warrior that tried his best to abide by the code -- but right now, he could care less.

Unfortunately, the blissful moment didn't last. Tallfeather jumped in alarm when another voice floated towards him from the Windclan side of the border. Whirling around, Tallfeather's eyes landed on the newly-named Direblood. A jolt of trepidation rushed through him, but Tallfeather didn't move from his spot beside the she-wolf. Being interrupted from such a peaceful moment -- moments that were rare for the troubled male -- angered Tallfeather, no matter the fact that he was the one who was so severely breaking the rules. "Why do you have to come nosing around?" He snapped, ignoring Direblood's passive words.

"i was chasing off a cougar" Direblood replied calmly, his blood red eyes fixed on the two. he flicked his tail and stood saying quietly "you cant go on like that forever... soemthign will give" he flicked his ears and thought abotu the clan that he and moon had been talking about. flicking his ears he said "perhaps if a new clan started then you might join it to be together" he shrugged and stared off towards highstones.

Moonwhisper stuck her nose in the air, trying to locate Direblood. When she finally did, she felt a jolt of suprise. There was two other scents, one fmiliar, the other not. Bounding up to Direblood, she twitched her nose. "Whatcha doing at the border Tallfeather?" she asked, her tone mild. It wasnt her buisness if he was breaking the warrior code. She had thought of doing it many times. "And di the cougar get chased away?" she asked Direblood, sitting down.

Direblood replied "yeah it headed for highstones" he turned and stared into her eyes saying "what if we left windclan and started our own clan?" he whispered to her "what if we started our own clan and it was for wolves that were rejected from other clans, they didnt fit in, miscreants?"

Moonwhisper's blind eyes widened. "But, no one would want to join, and we would be banished for breaking the warrior code" She twitched her tail thoughtfully. "Although it has an awfully good appeal. I mean, no more discrimintation."

Direblood shrugged "some wolves might join" he licked moonwhispers forehead gently and said "it would be like when we were pups" he said quietly. his blood red eyes glittering with a feirce idea "and we could announce it at a gathering... perhaps live up near highstones" his tail began to wag with ideas "If we anounce it at a gathering perhaps other wolves would follow"

Moonwhisper started liking the idea more and more. "And the leaders coulden turn against us because of the truce!" She smiled widely. "Lets do it, Direstar." Her face fell though. "But they could always not accept that we become a clan..."

(Because theres always the possibility of our form not being accepted and the clan not forming)

(shadestar has talked to the other leaders and they have accepted the clan)
direblood smiled at moonwhisper and murmured in her ear "and you and i could become mates" he whispered slightly embarrased. he already began planning how to introduce his new clan at the gathering. hopefully starclan would approve, he flicked his tail and sniffled his nose. blood red eyes fixated on moonwhisper. her filmy eyes entranced him.

Moonwhisper blushed, embarssed. "Yeah... but we could still be mates in Windclan too." Her eyes gazed sightlssly at Direblood. "I wish I could see you," she murmured. "Follow me, lets leave these two in peace." She headed back to the moor, the fmiliar feeling of the cool tunnels tugging at her paws.

Direblood stood and followed moonwhisper sayin quietly "yes, but i want us to be able to be free moonwhisper". his paws crunched the snow he padded on. blood furred pelt standing out like a black dotdoes on a dice.

Ripplepaw raced up panting, fallling onto her belly she sighed and curled up a little. pushing herself up the white apprentice waited calmly for stoatpaw and shadowpup to arrive. her baby blue eyes glittering with sadness.

Shadowpup padded across the border. Free of the curse that was ShadowClan forever more. Under pressure, pushing down on me pushing down on you pushing down on me. He thought as he went to the Windclan camp.

Ripplepaw lficked her tail and ran beside stoatpaw on the way to the windclan camp. her white fur streaked behind her in the breeze. she smiled a little as she ran she felt so free!

Snowflower tried to find the scent once more... It was hopeless, an idea sprung into her head. "Why not wait, they might not have reached our borders yet."she though to herself and waited.

Tallfeather watched indifferently as Direblood left them, later joined by Moonwhisper as they headed back towards Windclan camp. Seeing the two young wolves so close sent a pang through Tallfeather, and he looked away, eyes landing on Skyfeather. He knew he should be concerned that Direblood would share their secret, that'd tell anyone and everyone about their horrendous treachery, but at the moment he couldn't bring himself to care. "what are we going to do?" Tallfeather said, his tone desperate as he pressed his body against the Shadowclan she-wolf's.
