SunClan Camp

The sunclan camp is made up of a large cave that has smaller caves branching off it, the leaders den is situatied at the back of the cave the apprentices den and thewarriors den are closest to the entrance of the cave and the nursery and the elders den are set neatly on the left wall., the medicine den is down a bit of a tunnel into a large inner cave that has a small water source and a little light pouring down from a small opening in the inner cave.. outside the cave is a large flat patch of dirt and stones used for sunnings selves and teh fresh kill pile. to the side of the large patch of flat area there is a tall treestump where the leader holds clan meetings.

Stoatblaze sat down next to Ripplestone, licking her ear as she leaned against him. He yawned as well, and looked out of the cave, wondering what time it was. He then looked back at Ripplestone, smiling as she spoke to him. "I love you too, Ripplestone." He said back as quietly. He had known Ripplestone since they had been pups, and he was glad he'd decided to join SunClan along with her.

Direstar padded into camp in time to hear the talk. his eyes snapped and he said "You idlers go and grab rasberry leaves, also someone find ebonyfur, Ripplestone is giving birth! i dont want anyone who isnt a pup, ebony or Stoat in that nursery". he then turned and stomped off and lay down on one of the flat rocks outside the cave.

Sparkpup hears Direstars voice and stands still of the sudden shout. "Direstar, what should I do?" Sparkpup waits for an answer. "This could be my chance to prove I can do whatever needs to be done in a time of crisis", Sparkpup thought to himself. Looks at Direstar and says " How can I help Direstar?"

Direstar glanced at sparkpup, he nodded and said "go to the medicine den and find moss, there is a small tunnel that leads to a pool of water. drench the moss in the water then take it to ripplestone. that would be a big help". he smiled and hoped to starclan that he wouldnt have to deliver the pups. he stood and padded over to the entrance of the nursery.

Thunderpaw looked up and was curious but at Direstar's warning to stay out he did. He was confused, so slowly thunder made his way over to the leader. He crept up behind him, "What is happening?" The three legged apprentice stood next to the red furred leader, curiosity evident in his wide eyes.

Nodding to her father,she stepped back. Running over to the medicine den,she nudged Ebonyfur. Not being able to speak mate her guide Ebony to the warrior's den. She then searched for Raspberry leaves. She had seen raspberries,she had eaten one before. She remembered they had spiked ridges. Pickling 2 leaves up,she trotted to the den. Setting the green leaves down,she splat outside. She disliked the taste of bitter herbs.
She then returned to the entrance. Staring out into the distance.

Cloverpaw looked up from where she was sitting, to see a crowd of wolves gathered around the nursery. "What's going on?" She asked, padding up to the the crowd. Unfortunately, she walked up just in time to get shooed away by her father. Her eyes widened when Direstar announced that Ripplestone was giving birth. "I hope she does ok." Cloverpaw thought, glancing at the nursery. She had heard that her mother, Moonwhisper, had died giving birth to them. "Please Starclan, don't let that happen to Ripplestone!" The Apprentice thought.

Direstar said "Ripplestone is giving birth". his tail lashed in fustration he looked at Stoatblaze then muttered "here goes nothing" he walked light footedly into the nursery. his body tight with tension he gently placed a paw on her belly and said "its ok Ripplestone, i wont let you die on me". he gently began pushing on her belly then stopped to say "push when you feel pain"

Upon hearing that Ripplestone was giving birth, the medicine wolf rushed out. She stood by Ripple and nudged her up. "Quickly, into the medicine den."she said and continued nudging her forward. The medicine wolf gathered moss and spread them out into a neat mat. She got the right herbs and waited for Ripplestone to get settled.

Ripplestone didnt want to move she said "queens always give birth in the nursery". she wheezed with pain. where was stoatblaze? she wanted him besid eher. she wanted to see his blue eyes. incase she didnt make it through this she lay down again and gritted her teeth. as a contraction passed through her she pushed.

EbonyFur carried the herbs with her and went over to her side. The medicine wolf applied herbs to make the birth less painful. She stepped aside. She did all she could, it was up to Ripplestone now.

Mosseybreeze looked around confused and scared. She didn't know what to do. She knew the queen but was afraid to mess up. She grabbed a stick like before,"Put this in your mouth Ripplestone it will help you bare with the pain." Mossey looked at the warrior again.

Thunderpaw nodded and lied down upon the rock which the leader had left. He raised his head to the air and blinked. The air... it is warmer than before... He kept looking around. The days seem a bit longer too... could new leaf almost be here? Thunder had been born in very early winter so he had never ever seen new leaf... Now was his chance. The large three legged apprentice smiled to himself before flicking his ears to the nursery, where Ripplestone's cries of pain filled the air. The apprentices nose twitched, and he smiled.

Stoatblaze looked at Ripplestone with alarm; would she be alright? He looked up at Direstar, Ebonyfur, and the others who had came nearby the den. His blue eyes looked back at Ripplestone. "You'll be alright, Ripplestone." The orange tan warrior said as calmly as he could, licking her ear.

Ripplestone grabbed the stick in her mouth and gave a grateful glance at mosseybreeze. thunderclan had lost a great warrior when they had let mosseybreeze go. Ripplestone hoped that she could be friends with mosseybreeze after this ordeal. letting out a guttural moan she felt something leave her. twas a tiny fluffy brown pup. ripplestone panted and said. "someone get the pup out of the sack and lick hit"

Stoatblaze softly pawed the pup over to him, taking it out and licking its fur in the opposite direction. He hoped that the pup would be alright. Setting the pup back over to Ripplestone, his dark blue eyes glanced at her. "You'll be fine." He said, trying both to convince himself as well as Ripplestone.

Ripplestones blue gaze met the tan warriors. her eyes were full of pain, her front paw edged out to touch stoatblazes. she was thankful for him being here. as another contraction passed through her she gave a agonizing groan as a tiny grey backed pup appeared. (rainpup). Ripplestone relaxed then panting heavily.

Tigerpup in the nursery wrinkled her nose as the scent of blood hit it. noticing the tiny squirming creatures she blinked her yellow eyes and watched with curiosity. her oaken fur keeping her warm from the slight chill in the air. she gave a hostile glare at Direstar before staring at ripplestone.

Straining again two black pups were born. ripplestone smiled "twins" she pulled them close to her with her tail and began lickign them her delicate tongue washing over them. she laid her head back down feeling the contractions pass through her again. soon a grey pup had been born and a dark brown pup had been born. she grunted the last pup was rather large. she strained to push out a white pup.

The little black pup cried as all pups did at birth. She felt the warmth of her mother and moved closer. She gave a little growl and started to suckle. She continued to suckle and started moving closer to her mother.

Mosseybreeze

The warrior looked at Ripplestone. "How cute what are there names?" She looked at the little pups. She remembered when she was in thunderclan when the pups were born. She had done te same thing then to.

Ripplestone pushed out the last pup. a snowy white pup with thick fur to match her own. licking the newest pups head she said "i havent named them yet, Stoatblaze and i will do it together'. her eyes met stoatblazes and burned with love and affection. she smiled as the white pup nipped hernose. and flicked an ear at the brownpup "this brown pup shall be named Otterpup, for both of his parents are from riverclan"

"I like it," I tell Ripple. I then lean down and cue to the pup,'I bet you are going to be a great swimmer." She then saw the snowy white pup. "Why is that one white?" She found it weird that there was white pup.

"because her mother is white Mosseybreeze. i Name her Snowpup for her pelt looks like freshly fallen snow". her blue eyes glittered with pride for her pup. she smiled at mossey and thumped her tail indicating that she could help suggest names if she wanted. Ripplestone like mossey she was a kind and trustworthy wolf.

Tigerstorm looked at the nursery and held the question. He knew he would never have pups! He poked his head in saying, "It's the type of wolf that counts." He winked at the wolves and turned back to the Clans' camp.

"I think that little black one should be Obsidianpup for her black fur." She told ripple. She was glad that someone trusted her unlike in thunderclan. She liked that Ripplestone named one of the pups snowpup it was a pretty name for a pretty pup.

Ripplestone nodded "i love it, Obsidian is a strong rock that comes from vomiting mountains. she will be a strong wolf with a name like that. i name the other black pup Twilightpup. for her fur will help her stay in the shadows." she smiled at mosseybreeze then flicked her tail at the grey backed pup "i name this pup Rainpup for Rainstar. and this pup Heatherpup for Heatherstar"
