Wind watched the pup as he waited for Firestar to speak. He looked like a furry bouncy ball. He chuckled as the pup climb up Rain's leg. He sat, placing his tail around his paws then moved it so that it lay across Firestar's back gently. He loved the female and he wanted to make things better for herr. He looked at her, twitched an ear but stayed silent.

Emberfeather growled, dragging the bloody doe behind her. Dropping it atop the Fresh kill pile, she grunted with the exheretion. She swiveled her head back and forth, observing all that was happening in camp. Not much was going on, so the russet fae padded out of camp once again.

The fiery leader nodded. Firestar thought that the golden dog looked and sounded like he meant it. She resolved to wait a while before she made him an apprentice. "Good. You'll start out as an apprentice first but before that you need to see the territory first. I'll show you but I need to attend to a few things first." She turned and smiled at her mate. "Wind, would you like to come with me as I show Rocky the territory." Firestar padded out of the den and then turned back to look at Windstorm. "By the way, have you noticed Rainwhisper's belly recently. I think she's going to have pups."

Otterpup growled and smacked rainwhisper on the jaw, the precise pressure point causing her to dropthemoss ball. he grabbed it and darted away. as fast as his four short legs could carry him. his ears streamed back behind him as he raced along. his four paws thrumming on the earth. he ran into firestars den not knowing that she was the leader or anything and hid under her tail giggling.

The warrior grunted he turned his head and licked his side, it ached from where the thunderstick had hit him. he lifted his black head and watched the camp with tired golden eyes. sometimes he really did feel like an elder. he flicked his black tail and turned walking into the medicine den he curled up lapping at his wound.

Firestar barked in surprise as a small pup shot into the den and hid under her. "Slow down, Otterpup", she smiled and leaped away before turning to face him. "Is that your moss ball, Otter?" Probably he's been playing with Falconwing.

Feathersoul sighed, standing up. "That's all I can do," she muttered, staring at Echopaw's body sadly. She raised her mussel and her voice to a shout to alert the rest of the Clan. "Do not come anywhere near Echopaw! She's too delicate to move so I have to leave her here for now until she wakes up." Satisfied with her anouncement, the heavily-pregnant fae quickly scuttled inside the Medicine Den, concealing her swollen belly. She glanced at Nightowl, who had suddenly reappeared. She saw him licking his wound, and, concerned, she padded over to him. "Stop for a moment. The wound should almost be healed up by now..." She squinted, peering down into his wound. At last she saw a glint of silver, and with closer inspection she found that a little round ball had lodged itself in Nightowl's flesh. Muttering curses, she pawed out some cobwebs and chervil.

Nightowl blinked then asked "when will rainwhispers time be", he was really asking when they would both give birth to his pups. his heart was beating in anticipation for the arrival of his pups. he knew he would love Feather and Rains pups after all they were a part of him. his golden eyes looked over to rainwhisper, he wished that she would come over so he could nuzzle her before she left.

Feathersoul padded back over to Nightowl's side, her jaws stuffed with herbs. She spat them out of the ground. "I'm not sure. By the time of the next full moon they'll be born. Hold still, this will hurt." Using her claw, she sliced open the wound, causing a bloody pool to flow around the bullet. Placing her paws on his side, she mashed, causing a small fountain of blood to gush from the wound. She continued to push until the bullet finally popped out, landing on the den floor with a "plink." Skillfully, she quickly stuffed cobwebs in and around the wound, coating it with a thick poultice of horsetail and comfrey root. "Chew this and swallow the juice, then spit out the plant," she said, brushing it over to Nightowl's mouth with her tail while spreading out the burrs of catchweed over the poultice. She nodded at Rainwhisper acknowlaging her as she worked. "Sorry if that hurt a lot. I wasn't exactly sure what to do."

he let out a pain filled howl as she squeezed it out, he glaredat her a little as he chomped on the plant then spat it out with a satsifying squelch. he swallowed the juice and lay his head down. flinching as she touched his wound. he felt dizzy as the blood oozed from his wound. heblinked slowly and licked his black nose. he gritted his teeth against the pain as themedicine wolf continued to poke around.

Feathersoul paid no attention to the glare; she was used to being ridiculed, bossed around and having dirty looks at her. She waddled over her her store once more, grabbing a large bundle of moss, poppy seeds, chamomile, honey and Lamb's ear. Padding back over to Nightowl's side, she placed the herbs next to Nightowl's mouth and drizzled them in honey. "Eat em," she sighed, taking a stip of moss and wiping it across the floor, soaking up the blood. She listened to Rainwhisper's howls of laughter, and she couldn't help but feel a tickle of humor herself.

He let out a low growl and lapped up the herbs before turning and placing his back to them. flattening his ears in ignorance of the two, he rested his head on his paws and snorted. he was in a bad mood now, he reminded himself to laugh when rainwhisper gave birth.

" thank you Firestar, i respect you as well." " and no thank you i dont think i will need an escort." She padded to the entrance of the camp and looked back at her home for so long. she knew that she would always love this place but it was time for her to start her life somewhere else. " Good bye for now my friends, for the next time we meet i will not be you clanmate." she ran off in the direction of the Sunclan camp.
Sunclan camp

Hawktalon walked into camp rather slowly. He looked at Falconwing, "Hello! Did anything happen while I was gone?" He looked around the camp, a few new things coming to him.

Hawktalon rolled onto his back. "Who's Rocky? Did Oakpaw get buried yet? Did Moonpaw get a mentor, too?" Hawktalon did not know that Moonpaw was his apprentice, yet.

Wind dipped his head slightly, he had indeed noticed the slight swell of Rain's belly. He was excited for the pups. He closed his eyes slightly, he wondered if he and firestar could have pups too. He looked at his mate and Rocky, "Of course, no problem." then he stepped closer to Firestar, "You wanted to talk to me about something?" the strong warrior asked quetly, so she could only hear. His fur brushed hers' as he bent and gave her muzzle a lick.
