Falconwing smiled and followed the deputy and apprentice out of camp. He gave the camp a glance back, as if he would never see it again. Falcon laughed at himself before racing after Otter and Hawk. "Here I come!"

Nightowl wondered bewilderly what border emberfeather wanted to go to, since she hadnt told him he assumed that it would be best for him to stay behind. he walked over to the warrior den and gave a sour glare at his brother. talk about insensitive. he huffed through his nose then turned to sprawl out in the last patch of sunshine that decorated the camp. his thoughts turned to rainwhisper, where was she? he noticed that feathersoul was also out of camp and a black dread formed in his throat.

Shadowpup yawned and let out a lonely sigh. Seeing he was the only pup in the camp. The male hopped back into the nursery. After sitting down comfortably he closed he's eye but wasn't really sleeping.

Rainwhisper ade her slow arrival at the camp, carrying her pups. She knew Feather wouldn't be too far behind so she allowed herself to walk quietly to the nursery. She slunk by, hoping not too much commotion would start as she made her way through camp and silently slipped into the nursery.

(Sorry, I just had to get back to camp already.)

Blackpup snuggled in her mothers warm fur her paws clenched tightly. The warmth had been taken from her but now warmth seemed to be all around. The scent of milk was faint but her own mothers was strong. All she wanted was to get back to nursing. She let out a sharp yip of complaint.

The puppy continued her silent weeping, her eyes squeezed shut. why couldnt she make noises? the single thought dashed through her brain. as she got put down she found herself on something soft. the smell of milk from her mother was strong and she wriggled wanting to continue feeding.

Firestar heard Echobreeze's words and her expression now had understanding and care in it. "I think I know it. Maybe you should have a rest in your nest." The fiery wolf gave her mate a significant before noticing a little pup run inside the nursery. She made her way over to the nursery and looked in. "Hello. What's your name?" she called to the pup. Firestar took a quick look back at the wolves in the camp. She saw Rain coming in, laden with pups and felt happy for Rain and the Clan. The fiery female slipped back to the nursery. "Hello Rain. It seems that your pups are born. They look wonderful."

Rainwhisper lied down, lying Crystalpup closest to her. She gave her white pelt soft licks, knowing one day her pup would realize something different with her and probably already knew. She huffed happily and looked up at Firestar, "Oh yeah... three guys two girls. What are the odds?" She gave an amused chuckle and watched them all, pride in her eyes.

Blackpup, instantly crawled to her mother as they both set down on the soft ground of the den. She could smell another wolf, a new one. They didn't smell of milk so blackpup ignored the scent and buried herself in her mothers pelt as she nursed. Things for the full puppy could not get better.

Moonshadow watched as a few pups were brought to camp. She blinked confusedly. She shook her head. And kept her eyes trained in the horizon

Feathersoul padded into camp, her three pups on her back. She popped in the nursery, smiling at Rainwhisper's last few words. "Don't forget sweet little Stormpup, Graypup and Leafpup." The Medicine Wolf hoped the parsley had taken effect, and that her milk had dried. She laid the three pups beside Rainwhisper, hoping her litter would be accepted by Rainwhisper's pups.

Rainwhisper looked up at Feathersoul and smiled, her slip maddening her. How could she forget? Rainwhisper smiled, "I was counting the ones here, I'm just so tired. Thanks Feather for all you have done." Her eyes were full of understanding and slight hurt for her friend, but there was nothing that could be done. "5 males and 3 females... All adorable." She nuzzled the pups closer to herself and smiled.

Nightowl perked his ears and noticed Feather and Rain returning. he was up on his feet in a moment and in the nursery. He sat down by the entrance and watched his pups with a proud glow in his golden eyes. he said softly "they are all beautiful, im so proud of you rain" his eyes glittered with pride. he nuzzled his mate, he looked at feathersoul with a coldness in his eyes. he turned his gaze to his pups.

yet another new scent flooded her sensitive pink nose. she struggled not feeling that hungry, her tiny belly full of comfortable milk. her tiny white form petite compared to the large fully fledged siblings of hers. her life force was already strong but weak.

Echobreeze nodded to the firey leader and padded to her nest. Relief filled her eyes as she laid down. Shhe tucked her noe under her tail as she fell into a peaceful sleep.

Feathersoul smiled at the pups. She bent down, licking each of them gingerly as Nightowl entered. She nodded, still smiling. "Well, I'll be leaving, since I'm not needed anymore." Her voice was light, but it was full of poison as she cast one last glance at her three pups before padding to the Medicine Den.

Shadowpup was squeezed out of the nursery as it. Became crowded and noisy the male sat down in the middle of the clearing. As he lashed he's tail with annoyance. Shadowpup rubbed one eye with he's paw before the dazed dizzyness from he's sleep past. The black and white male just sat there with a little sigh.

Moonshadow,yawned and flicked her tail. She watched as the sun came up. She sighed and slowly padded to the apprentice den. She stopped at the entrance. Then blinked. "Wait,I have to move to the warrior's den." She flicked her ears and grabbed her nest. She quickly set down her nest in the warrior's den,and laid down in it. She took a deep breathe and fell asleep. Ignoring the gnawing hunger in her belly.

Rainwhisper watched Nightowl, but upon seeing him though she smiled something became different as she watched the coldness in his eyes towards her friend. As she watched him, she realized a short difference but decided to ignore it as he nuzzled her softly. She simply nodded and wrapped herself around the pups with a protective air. All eight of them, were like they were all truly hers. She smiled kindly and closed her eyes.

Leafpup felt herself being placed against the other pups. She squealed in complaint but the herby scent was gone. The one scent she found comforting was gone. She simply refused to eat and remained in the bundle of pups quietly.

Blackpup slept soundly her black paws high in the air. Her round tummy swollen with her mums milk and a soft burping sound as she fell into a soft cuddly sleep. Her tiny snores sounded like soft growls as she remained away from the rest, her pink tongue sticking out in a small pup like yawn.

Nightowl frowned as he noticed Leafpup refuse to eat, he gently touched his nose to her head and said in a warm voice "come on sweetheart, drink and become strong like your papa" his golden eyes were loving as he watched the pups. he lay down beside rain and said "all of them are beautiful" he paused then asked "what are their names?"

Crystalpup felt leafpup being put near her and pinned her ears back a little, she smelled more herby than crystalpup did. her white tail stiffened before she licked the other pup a little and curled up asleep. her tiny sides rising and falling.

Rainwhisper smiled slightly and nudged each pup. She nudged Blackpup first, licking her tiny paws with love and a slight flash back. A large gray wolf, standing next to a fiery red one. Her ears pinned back as she flattened her ears and shook her head. "Blackpup... in memory of Blackhawk... she just looks so much like him... An exact image..." Her voice was a soft whisper. She nudged Crystalpup next, "Crystalpup, because even though she will be unable to speak or make a single sound... she shines as bright as Crystals..." She smiled kindly and went on to the last female. The strange colored tortoiseshell fae. "Leafpup for the light dappled look upon her pelt." She went on to the guys. "The rain fell quietly with Stormpup... and Graypup for the skies..." She wasn't sure if that was why Feathersoul had named them that but she made it so. Rain sighed and kept going some more. She licked the fiery pup next, "Phoenixpup... for... Phoenixstar." She nudged the last two and pointed to both the black males. "Owlpup after you... and Adderpup after Adderpaw..." She smiled and curled herself tighter around them.

Nightowl smiled with pride and said "thank you for naming one after me, im sure that Phoenixpup and Blackpup will honour their namesakes as they champion" his gaze softened as he looked at crystalpup. dread filling up inside him, was she like that because of his affair with feathersoul? he shuddered at the thought. he would talk to feathersoul about it later he asked "will Crystalpup be able to become a warrior" he mused.

Rainwhisper looked down at Crystal and grumbled slightly, "Don't dare think of her as unable. She is more then capable of becoming a warrior and a simple disability won't stop her." The female stiffened, hating the thought of her children being unable to be warriors. She wrapped herself tighter and tighter around them, a dark relaity as she refused to show them to the world.

Echobreeeze felt sick. She shuddered in her once peaceful sleep. What was to become of her and her pups? Firestar had clearly understood... but where was Stormchaser in all of this? She had watched him earn his warrior name, but where had he gone? Echobreeze pushed the thought away and got up. She hadnt realized how hungry she was. Echobreeze padded to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a squirrel. With one last quick glance at the fresh-kill pile, she padded over to a sunny spot near her nest and started to eat her prey.

Feathersoul slipped through the fern tunnel, and she sat down in the middle of the grassy clearing of the Medicine Den. She sighed. Padding over to the edge of the forest, she clawed up a bundle of sticks and mud. She dragged them into the cavern where she slept, piling them up in front of the entrance, blocking out most of the light and sending a message that she didn't want to be bothered now. She curled up in her mossy nest, her head resting on her paws. She closed her eyes against the soft shaft of light that fell upon her, thinking.

Nightowl nodded and said "of course of course Rainwhisper" his voice was soft and kind, he lashed his tail and looked at her nuzzling her tiny head. lying down resting his head on his paws he sighed and shot a glare out at the medicine den. he decided to pretend that heknew nothing of Feathersouls pups "i cant believe that you had so many rain, im proud of you for surviving"

Moonwhisper,yawned. She opened her groggy eyes. She stood up and rolled her shoulders. She stretched out her legs and opened her maw in a large yawn. She shook her pelt and padded outside. SHe sat down and flicked his tail.
