SunClan Camp

Swiftstorm looked at the apprentice/warrior. He was hoping the deputy ceremony was today to! He looked at the leader. He had hope in his eyes.

Gentleheart walked over to where everybody was sitting around Ripplestar. she listened on as she addressed the recent problems in the clan. she wondered what she was going to do about Amberwing and the deputy position. hmm, she thought i wish i could be deputy. but she shook the thought off because she knew that she would pick somebody more experience. she just hoped that whoever it was would be kind and support Ripplestar. she saw Scarletpaw's face when Ripplestar began her warrior ceremony, she smiled.

Her eyes glittered with pride in scarletpaw as she continued, her voice strong yet loving. " Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Scarletpaw, from this moment you will be known as Scarletsoul. StarClan honors your Generosity and Kindness, and we welcome you as a full member of Sunclan."
She leapt down from the high stump and placed her chin on Scarletsouls head before she began chanting "Scarletsoul! Scarletsoul!". Ripplestar leapt back up onto the high stump, her eyes began glittering cooly. "Amberwing, you sent a party of warriors to Thunderclan without me knowing? THat is not the clan way amberwing. i am aware that you have plenty of Supporters within the clan. However I strip you of your Deputy Duties so that you may love Pinedusk and bear his pups if you so wish it". her blue eyes glitterieid she hadn't missed the looks her apprentice and Amberwing had been sharing. She flicked her tail pondering thoughts then said "i will Choose the next Deputy at dawn tomorrow" the meeting finished she wandered toward the leaders den tiredly. she wondered if stoatblaze would join her.

Gentleheart chanted along with her clanmates. "Scarletsoul,Scarletsoul." she was happy for the she wolf, she remembered her own warrior ceremony, but she was in Thunderclan at the time. she heard Ripplestar strip Amberwing of the title of being deputy. Gentleheart wondered who she was going to pick.

Scarletsoul rested her muzzle on her leader's shoulder as Ripplestar jumped down from the stump. She felt static with excitement and happiness at being named a full warrior of SunClan and she repeated her new name in her head proudly. However, she managed to calm down enough to listen to the rest of the meeting and perked her ears straighter as Ripplestar stripped Amberwing of her Deputy Duties. I wonder who the next deputy will be, she thought curiously and cast a glance around the camp. She would've loved to be deputy, wouldn't they all? But she knew she had the chance of a million to one as having only just been made a warrior. She wondered how Amberwing was going to take this announcement. Hearing Gentleheart chant her name, she smiled shyly feeling the thrill of the event rush through her again.

Swiftstorm walked up to Ripplestar. "Good job with the ceremony! Have you picked a deputy?" He was really nervous. But he didn't let it show.

Russetwind glanced up "oi Swiftstorm leave the lass alone to her mate, if anything she will probbaly choose him" his words held a faint sneer. he wasnt a fan of swiftstorm, he personally would rather join stormclan then have swift as a leader. he looked about for gentleheart. now she was a cutiepie.

Tigerfern walked out of the warriors den looking around with sad depressed eyes. she sat down outside the cave and looked up at the stars. one day more... she thought. perhaps she should go for a walk. she just felt so empty inside now. all alone, her yellow orbs looked dull and soulless.

Gentleheart saw Swiftstorm and Russetwind talking. she walked over to where they were, "hello Russetwind,Swiftstorm." she hadnt talked to Russetwind since before the gathering. Gentleheart also wondered but she didnt want to bug Ripplestar as she thought she had a lot on her mind and looked tired. "how about we let Ripplestar get some sleep." she said politely.

Russetwind agreed "i wonder if you will be Deputy, i like the ring of Gentlestar" He grinned a little blinking his green flirtatious eyes at the girl. he walked past her his tail flicked her chin a little. he walked over to the rocks outside of the camp and lay down with a yawn.

Swiftstorm growled. He disliked this wolf. "I will leave you to think Ripplestar. Choose wisely." He went to the warriors den and laid down.

Gentleheart laughed. "yes but i think she would choose somebody more experience and somebody she trust." "i havent been in the clan my whole life like some warriors." she blushed as she felt the tip of his tail on her chin. she wondered if she should talk to him. "wait, Russetwind, can i ummm talk to you." she asked shyly.

Fernshade smiled,but kept silent. She padded to Scarletsoul and grinned. "Congrats,so how's it feel to be a warrior." She flicked her ears and winked.

He glanced up and said "Sweetcheeks you can always talk to me!" he winked extremley flirtatiously and smirked noticing how nightpup was a bit of a flirt. he flicked his russet coloured tail and stood waltzing over to gentleheart he said "do you want to go somewhere private?"

Bramblepup didn't quite understand what was happening but gathered that someone had been promoted. She squeaked in her normall bubbly tune "Scarletsoul! Scarletsoul!" she looked up as the midday sun rose up over head and looked to nightpup and mosspup, her ears wriggled through her makeshift hat with an idea. She casually walked over to the camp entrance. Sniffing about as if she was just curious, her tail twitched for Nightpup and Mosspup to follow her. She wanted to go on an adventure! She looked up wondering where they might go, pondering her decision on where to go. hmm she had been to the river before so why not some place new. She remembered back when she hadn't yet opened her eyes about hearing adult wolves speak about a place named the stunted forest. Moving her fuzzy legs the bright pup bounced off her tail up in the air. Her hat fluttered unnoticed to the ground.

Gentleheart smiled shyly. "yes please can we go somewhere umm else." Gentleheart wasnt use to being called these names or being flirted with, she didnt know how to act. but she knew that this was just the nature of Russetwind but he made he feel special.

Aurorapup returned to camp after getting lost for a while, her light gray pelt was covered in leaves and dirt. her Amythest eyes looked around spotting fawnpaw she found herself being dragged over she asked "what herbs that" Pointing to some catmint. she was curious and wanted to learn.

Russetwind frowned and said "well babe there is always the sparkly river, hows that sound" his voice purred as he looked at her with his merry green eyes. Gentleheart was someone special to him for she was always willing to give others a chance. he allowed his russettail to come up and wag a little.

Gentleheart's eyes lit up at the sound of the River. She wagged her tail "i love the river, its so pretty and peaceful." "i sometimes go there when i just need to clear my head, or just to enjoy the view." Gentleheart was in a somewhat playful mood. She tapped Russetwind on the shoulder and then started running to the River. " tag, your it." as she ran her reddish fur blew in the wind.

He snorted out of his black nose and said "game on girl". he reared up imitating a wild stallion then dashed after her. claws sinking into the ground to give him better traction. the thick almost mane like fur on the back of his neck whistled with wind in it. he let a howl of joy and continued thundering along.

Scarletsoul watched as Russetwind and Gentleheart left camp and she smiled. Turning to Fernshade as the female spoke to her, she sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws before replying. "Thank you. It's like I've finally been accepted into the clan." She chuckled and flicked her ears. "Who do you think Riplestar's going to choose to be deputy? Someone with a lot of experience and the clan like I'm guessing." She barked and gave a friendly wink to Fernshade. Fernshade was popular in the clan and Scarletsoul was sure that Fern had a good chance of getting the rank.

Fernshade nodded with a grin,then remembered about deputy. She frowned. "I haven't thought about it recently." She flicked her tail at Scarlet's wink. "If you think I'm going to be deputy,your crazy. Maybe Gentleheart. Shes new alright." She blinked. "But she has a good heart. Not sure about the leading skills though."

Gentleheart arrived back at camp and went straight to the warriors den to lay down. she wanted to get some sleep before the next meeting. a huge smile came to Gentleheart's face when she thought of Russetwind. she was proud of herself for confessing to him. she drifted off to sleep.

Russetwind walked back into camp heading for the warriors den, his red fur shining in the after noon sunshine. He beamed seeing Gentleheart in the warriors den. he moved his nest overnext to hers and lay down in his as well. their fur lightly brushing. with a soft grunt he moved his head to rest it on his mates side. his eyes glittering.

Fernshade blinked as Russetwind and Gentleheart passed by. She chuckled. "Looks like two love-birds have moved in." She grinned and flicked her tail.
