StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Sparrowheart thought, perhaps a name like Twistedpup was too cruel. But it was forever evident. "What about Twistedpup? I don't know, if kind of sounds like I'm branding her because of her paw. What do you think?" She said, she didn't want any of her pups to feel pushed out by anyone.

Heatherstar heard Shadowstorm address her and dipped her head in greeting to the SunClan male, no expression of surprise that he was within the StormClan camp crossing her still slightly bloodied features. Hearing Thistlepaw approaching and coming to stand by her side a faint streak of sorrow flitted across her gaze. Shadowstorm would soon have to be informed. Hearing Shadestar growl she took it as recognition that he had visitors and watched carefully as he moved aside to allow them a clear passage into the camp. Holding her head high confidently - though not too high as to look cocky - she entered the camp, heading towards where Shadestar was standing and throwing glances around the camp, looking for any sign of a recent battle. None met her eyes. Returning her full attention to Shadestar she dipped her head deeply to him in a respectful greeting. "Greetings, Shadestar. It appears that this might not be the most productive of times," She cast her gaze momentarily to the nursery and to where the blood scent seemed most strong, "However i was wondering if i could have a word with yourself and Graystar? It is of the upmost urgency."

Soon Heatherstar entered the camp. Shadestar could also smell the scent of SunClan behind her and his eyes narrowed. "Why are SunClan wolves here also?" Instantly he became suspicious and on edge. His body became tense and his tail moved upwards in a sign of dominance while the fur on his back stood up straight. If this was some kind of attack Shadestar would not be kept unawares. He didn't put anything past the WindClan leader. A growl emerged from his jaws as his golden eyes demanded an explanation.

Heatherstar gazed unflinchingly back at the formidable StormClan leader as he allowed a threatened growl erupt from his maw. His reaction did not entirely surprise her. Looking towards Shadwstorm she felt a witty comment brewing in her mind although stopped herself, thinking better of it. She instead replied, "There is nothing to fear, Shadestar. Thistlepaw has merely come to deliver a rather regretful message to Shadowstorm. We felt it appropriate for a member of his own Clan to deliver the news." The WindClan leader studied the dark male, wondering what his response would be.

Shadowstorm smelled none other then Thistlepaw, he remembered the apprentice, or at least the he was a pup beforehand. "Thistlepup?" He asked curiously, what would the pup want? Shadowstorm did not know that he was an apprentice yet. This could mean something bad had happened? Only time would tell. He overheard Heatherstar. "What has happened Thistlepaw?" He asked, a sincere agony in his voice. What had happened to SunClan?

Sparrowheart nodded, she was determined that Twistedpup would be a warrior too. "Yes, her name will be Twistedpup, but it is not taken as a bad thing, but a sign that she can rise up stronger then others because she has something to strive for." She said, it was a fierce ambition, but it would keep her going. She smiled as she looked at the next pup. "This one, I think her name should be Brindlepup."

Creekfire nodded as Sparrowheart motion to another pup, one who had brindled markings on her fur. "Yes, its a suiting name." He paused, searching the little forest of pups until he found the strange little russet one. It was quite small and its breathing was uneven.It might not survive, he thought sadly, noising the tiny pup. "Her fur is firey. Kind of a yellowy russet. Oh look, the little black dapples remind me of a bee. That's it, Beepup."

(Beepup and Jaypup will be somewhat ill or weak, so if no one adopts them they will die, okay?)

Noticing a Sunclanners and Heatherstar,Bluestorm narrowed his eyes. He noticed a familiar smell among them. Hmm. Seems Tallfeather is arriving soon. But just no yet. He blinked and heard something about Sunclan. His ears perked up. He glanced at the small apprentice. Or at least he heard Thistlepaw. He smelt death and blood on the two wolves. He growled suspiciosly.

Thistlepaw took this chance to stand next to Heatherstar when he was mentioned by the StormClan leader. This Shadestar was much bigger than he is, but nevertheless Thistlepaw held himself with confidence and pride. His own gaze flickered over to Shadowstorm as the wolf demanded to know what had occurred. Moving past the WindClan and StormClan leaders, he walked up to the SunClan Deputy. "I think we should speak somewhere else, Shadowstorm," the apprentice said hesitantly, shooting a glance towards Shadestar and Heatherstar to see if either would object. He didn't want the whole of StormClan to know of SunClan's weaknesses and the death they had earlier. And he knew that Shadowstorm would not want others to see him when he was told that his mate and children were now dead.

Shadestar relaxed slightly as he saw that the SunClan representative was only a small apprentice, not a warrior. It seemed like Heatherstar had only brought another WindClan warrior as well as this other SunClan wolf. There would be no battle today, if there was WindClan would be crushed. Comfortable with the odds, he nodded, giving permission to the apprentice to speak with the Deputy. Then looking towards the WindClan leader he said, "Then let us speak elsewhere," before moving off to the direction of the leader's den. Walking inside, he reclined near the entrance and waited for the other leader to follow him and tell him of supposedly urgent recent happenings.

All the noise and liveliness woke up the young warrior. Her eyes opened slowly and her ears twitched once at the voices which were coming outside the den. Lunalight got up and stretched. A soft yawn came out of her muzzle. She took a few steps away from her nest and out of the warrior's den. The scent of intruders crossed her nose. She tought that Thunderclan wolves were here once again but catching the scent of another clan quickly changed her suggestions. Windclan and Sunclan. The leader of Windclan was here and Luna could easly suggest why. So after all it is true that Skyfeather had relationship with a Windclan warrior. she tought. The young she-wolf stepped slowly near the nursery and took a look. It seemed that Skyfeather was not the only mother in there. Sparrowheart also had pups. A smile crossed her muzle as she looked around the camp carefully. She desided to stay at the nursery's entrance guarding and not letting anyone in, except if it was a Stomclan warrior or one of the leaders.

Shadowstorm nodded, he went into the medicine wolves den. Beckoning Thistlepaw to follow, he began to wonder what had happened. He had caught SunClan scents on Heatherstar, as well as the blood. Had there been a fight with another clan? He began to worry about his brother and his mate. His mate especially with unborn pups.

Heatherstar followed Shadestar into the leaders' den as he obliged to hear what she had to say. Wondering for a moment where Tallfeather had got to she settled herself down a respectable distance away from Shadestar, composing herself as she prepared to deliver the news of the Aza'zel pack and their murderous ambitions. Glancing around she noticed that Graystar was nowhere to be seen. Opening her jaws she voiced her short question, "Before I begin may I ask if Graystar will be joining us?"

Slypaw whatched how everything happened. He stayed at the camp entrence and waited for the third wolf he smelled to show up. He stayed near Bluestorm and asked "What is going on?" They had a leader and an aprentice in thier camp each with different news.

"Perhaps," Shadestar said and nothing more. "If she does not I can pass the news myself." His tail flicked back and forth as his golden eyes watched the WindClan leader closely. After the death of his sister he had isolated himself even more for obvious reasons, and he wasn't here to chit-chat with the leader of a rival Clan. "What has happened?" he asked impatiently, encouraging her to begin her tale.

Thistlepaw padded with heavy steps after the SunClan Deputy. Scenarios passed through his mind as he walked. The boy couldn't think of a good way to break the news to the poor wolf. It had been a loss to SunClan, and all the sadness that he felt for the death would be one hundred times worse for Shadowstorm. Once the two reached the Medicine Wolf den, Thistlepaw settled himself comfortably near the warrior and hesitated, allowing silence to fill the void around them. Making sure to catch the gaze of the other wolf he began, "Foreign wolves not of another Clan attacked WindClan in their territory. One of their apprentices ran to get help from SunClan. Streakfire, Isenfire, and I answered the call but I arrived late to the battle.. When I got there..." Thistlepaw trailed off, removing his gaze from Shadowstorm's and instead to the herb stores nearby. He remembered the scene, it would be engrained in his memory for all eternity.

"One of the wolves murdered Isenfire, and then they stole the body before we could recover it. I am so sorry. We think it was the wolves who had killed that white wolf at the gathering, too. She is with StarClan now, watching over you forever. Just know that," he said, making sure to add the bit at the end. He knew his words would not soften the blow any for the poor wolf, but perhaps it could help. Thistlepaw knew death since he had been born, his mother had died bringing him into life and he had been next to he dead body when it went cold. Now Shadowstorm lost his mate and pups. Why was StarClan so unfair to them?!

As soon as Shadowstorm heard the news, he growled and snarled, pacing around in the medicine wolves den. He spoke to Thistlepaw, his emotions of hatred and anger were jumbled with sorrows and fear. "Thistlepaw, we're going to find them, we're going to find Isenfire, my pups. We're going to find them and bury them where they belong." He swore the the apprentice. But before he could be strong enough to leave, he personally fell over into a jumbled mess, crying and sobbing over the loss. "Were they the sam... same wolves that took Lightdawn's life?" He demanded, he needed to talk to Direstar and Brackenpaw. But only Brackenpaw was here. This was not the events he had expected. "This is WindClan's fault. No, it's the alliances fault." He whispered, now he had no family left. His mate was gone, and lastly his pups were gone. "We're going back to SunClan. Now." He said, he would not let Shadestar get in his way. He had to plot the demise of these loners, these rouges that took the life of all that he loved.

"She was valiant in going to the call to help," Thistlepaw commented softly, watching as the Deputy became angry and then quickly deteriorated. Seeing the determination in Shadowstorm's eyes he nodded. "We will find the body and get it back," he said, agreeing with the wolf. Though he hadn't been personally affected by the tragedy, it was important that Isenfire and her unborn children were buried where they belonged in SunClan territory, close by to her mate. "And yes, I think I recognized one of them." Though he had been a little pup at the gathering, he remembered the flash of dark fur and orange eyes before the wolf rushed up the slope and into darkness. "They were very strong," the apprentice noted. "Stronger than any wolves I've ever seen, with this raging, insane evil in their eyes..." he shuddered, "And they said they had a god, Cernobog I think it was. They didn't care if they were bitten or scratched and their side didn't suffer any casualties."

The apprentice then peeked his head outside of the Medicine Wolf den. "I think the StormClan leader is with Heatherstar in his den. Maybe we could sneak off before he notices," the boy whispered with a look of mischief in his eyes.

Shadowstorm nodded, they would definitely sneak out. "Yes, we will sneak out. I'm well enough to get to SunClan camp, I was about to go back. But Shadestar blocked the entrance earlier and refused to let me go even though Brackenpaw said I was fine for travel." He whispered to the apprentice. This was going to be fun, just like when he was a pup. "Let's go." He whispered again and started for the camp entrance.

Thistlepaw nodded, staying silent. Trying to be light on his toes, he walked casually from the Medicine Wolf den and then stood by the entrance, as if waiting to be told he could leave. Shooting a glance towards Shadowstorm, he moved out of the camp and into the forest that was waiting. He knew the Deputy could make it by himself, and so slowly made his way back towards his own territory. From his viewpoint he could not see into the leader's den, and thus Shadestar and Heatherstar could not see out.

Shadowstorm snuck out of camp, he was finally free from it all. He was going to kill the one who went and killed his love. He was going to slit the throat of such a wolf personally. Nothing could describe his anger.

-SunClan Camp-

Sparrowheart nodded to him, the name was perfect. She then picked up another pup. "This one should be named Eaglepup." She said in awe. He looked much like her.

Owlscreech padded over toward Sparrowheart, borage in his jaws. he placed it down and said "eat that it will give you strength". he gave a slight huff, the nursery was full with three nursing queens. he grunted a little females, his eyes travelled over to his sister and narrowed. she had better not have any pups. he nosed through the pups and said "the pup with the twisted paw will never become a warrior... it will give her a slight limp". he blinked his golden eyes at the two new parents.
