StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Owlscreech shook himself and gave darkpup a good hard stare warning him to be quiet. he then regarded skyfeather for a few moments before saying "Slypaw, go fetch some moss and wet it then bring it here, Skyfeather needs a drink". he fluffed up his fur then stood turning he noted his sister glancing around for someone and rolled his eyes irritably. he lashed his tail and stomped over toward shadestar he sat down and said in an iron voice "all of Skyfeathers pups are small, very small and not a single one came out nose first the way starclan intended pups to do. I have a feeling that these are illegitimate pups. the question is what are you going to do about it". his amber eyes watched shadestar, he personally would go back to shadowclan when the two clans split up again.

Undos turned by the pup with a twisted paw,he laid his head down. His red gaze still cutting through the den. He narrowed his eyes. He was so focused,and bird flew past a paw lengths away. All he did was snort and glare outside.

Foxpaw walked over and said to bluestorm "thank you bluestorm for bringing me here you saved my life. i am in your debt". she sat down and glanced at the pup with the twisted paw. she frowned and said "what do you want to be? a medicine wolf or a warrior?". she gave a shy grin as she watched the other wolf.

Her nose twitched as the faint scent if Thunderclan washed into the air. Grumbling she stretched and yawned letting her claws rake up the moss. Her tail curled and she wagged it so few times before sitting back down. It was a tight fit inside of the nursery. At least the clan was growing steadily and they were healthy. With this many pups surely they would be plentiful in great new warriors soon.

Snowstorm smiled as the fox like wolf stood and began playing with Slypaw. It seemed as though she was feeling much better. Then he heard something that sounded like a whispered "Thank you" from inside the medicine den, and he turned his head to see Eaglepup looking at him. He nodded to the small pup before turning his gaze to Shadestar and Foxpaw. Apparently Foxpaw had been excepted into StormClan. Snowstorm watched as Bluestorm limped into camp with a twisted paw. How in the world did that happen? He wondered. He decided not to bother the warrior, whom was now in a nest with his paw wrapped up, and he turned around. Shadestar called for wolves to go to the gathering, then left. Snowstorm looked at Foxpaw and said, "Congratulations," before he went over to the nursery to say goodbye to Silverheart. When he got in there, he spotted Darkpup in a corner. He gave the pup a stern look, silently telling him to stay away from the other pups, before turning to Silverheart. "Hello, my love," he said, nudging his mate. "I just thought I'd tell you before I went to the gathering. I'll see you very soon." The white deputy nudged his mate mate again before turning and padding out of the nursery, as well as the camp.

He gave a mischievous smile at the mention of Owlscreech. "I'm sure he'll figure it out some day, maybe if we don't tell him he won't notice." he joked, although inside he knew it was a serious matter and took it as such. Standing he followed after Honeysplash, his tail swaying from side to side with each step until the tip of it vanished through the clan entrance.

Foxpaw lay down and smiled at the pup "well a medicine wolf heals the clan and takes care of them, like owlscreech, its because of him that im here today. while warriors hunt and fight and protect the clan". she rested her head on her paws and watched the pup. her dark eyes soft, she liked pups and Twistedpup sure was adorable.

Eaglepup was listening in on his sister's converation. " I'm going to be a warrior!!!!" He said this proudly. He was going to protect his family and his clan for as long as he lived. He didn't know who who foxpaw was but she was nice to his sister and thats all that Eaglepup cared about.

She smiled up at her mate as he entered the nursery. "Goodbye Snowstorm....I will see you later," she whispered. Leaning down she lapped at the damp miss laid out. Her mixed orbs flickering in the moonlight. Yawning she shook her pelt and nudged her pups. This was her first time staying in camp for a gathering. Sighing softly she hummed a tune and drifted off.

Slypaw caming running into camp. He turned around to stand guard at the enterence. His hackles were raised and his stayed watching everything before him. He kept his nose trained on anything coming. He would stay gaurd in case anything followed him or anything was near. Slypaw would wait until his clanmembers came back. He didn't know what had made that sound but he knew it wasn't natural.

Goldenpup stared as Slypaw ran into camp. What happened? she would say, but she just stared at him' tilting her head to the side. She sat next to Eaglepup, slightly leaning onto him. She put her paw on his; as she knew if an apprentice was scared or frightened, she should be too.

Foxpaw nodded then looked up as SLypaw appeared. with a twitch of her nose she was on her paws and at his side. she bared her fangs at whatever threat her frien dwas growling at. her sleek orange pelt hung on her body as it normally did. she asked "Slypaw whats gotten you so wound up?"

Purefeather woke up, tired from her sleep. She stretched her muscles preparing for upcoming events for this day. Purefeather peaked outside the warrior's den, and noticed that hardly anyone was here. Gah! I remember, the gathering has already started. she thought, a bit dissapointed for missing out a little. Her blue eyes narrowed across to the nursery, noticing a lot of pups, the apprentice Slypaw, and some resting wolves. Well at least there's an apprentice staying here she huffed to herself. But as she said so, Purefeather saw a fox (Foxpaw). She was confused at first, but when Purefeather scanned the fox properly, she reconized that the fox was actually a young wolf, although its coloured patterns were the same as what a fox would look like. Purefeather padded to the nursery, since she was lonely enough. Her blue eyes sparkled at the wolf-like-fox, asking "Hey there. I suppose I've never met you before, may you tell me your name? I'm Purefeather, by the way." not noticing that the wolf was in the middle of a conversation with a pup. As Purefeather were to know more about this wolf, she flicked her tail and sat next to it.

Slypaw was still on edge. No one had returned from the four trees yet. Slypaw didn't know how to explain what happened. " Unnatural thunder at the four trees. I don't know what happened. A wolf was hurt but I don't know who." Slypaw was concerened that no one had come back yet.

Eaglepup watched as Slypaw ran in. He was instantly unsettled by how the aprentice was acting. Eaglepup's muscles tenced as he listened to anything he could hear. He leaned agianst Goldenpup to make sure she was still there while he couldn't take his eyes off the camp enterence.

Owlscreech arrived and lashed his tail irratiably. He had remembered the last hunting season and said "nay, it is Two legs. with Long sticks that vomit rocks at us, the force of them can kill a wolf". he glanced at Purefeather and nodded before he shuffled into the medicine den and said "good you are still breathing" he grabbed some moss soaking it with water, he recleaned eaglepups wounds and reapplied the poultice. picking up some Borage and chamomile he turned and headed for the nursery. a grumpy look in his eyes, moving into the nursery he prodded skyfeather awake rather titchily.

Goldenpup shivered as a waft of cold air swept right through her pelt. It was New-leaf, but early New-leaf; as the winds still were cold. Se took in some of the crisp, clean, and cold air. She was off to Lala Land, and as Eaglepup leaned on her she slightly went off balance. She sighed; even though she chose not to speak, she didn't yelp as she went slightly off balance. Instead, she just placed a foot to the side to keep herself up.

Purefeather looked at Slypaw in shock for what he was saying. Unnatural thunder? she thought, although Purefeather thought that the apprentice was making no sense. But as Owlscreech came back, and talked more about this thing (as if Purefeather said something out loud), Purefeather started to believe in it more. "Let me get this straight. Unnatural thunder, that injured a wolf? The creatures stands on two legs, with long sticks that vomits rocks? Slypaw, Owlscreech, they're.... monsters! There's no such thing as a creature who has this, but if you two saw it, I guess I'll believe you". Purefeather first glanced at Slypaw, but then turned to Owlscreech and nodded to the medicine wolf. Well now I'm relieved I didn't go to the gathering, or I would've been injured as well. she thought, sighing in both relief and sad for the injured wolf.

Slypaw was greatfull when owlscreech came back. He trusted the old medicine wolf to know what hapened. He turned to reply to Purefeather, " I don't think one of Stormclan got injured. The sound came out of no where." Slypaw's fur was still on end as he waited next to his friend(Foxpaw) for the others to return.

Snowstorm sprinted into camp, almost bowling Slypaw over, and skidded to a halt. He looked around and let out a sigh of relief as he saw that everything was okay. He went over to the nursery and peeked inside. Seeing Silverheart, his pups, and everyone else who was in there safe, he let out another sigh. He padded back to the entrance of camp and said to Slypaw, "Sorry about that, Slypaw. I was in a hurry, as you could see." The deputy then turned his head and saw Purefeather. He nodded to the young warrior, then turned his attention back to the camp entrance, watching for any sign of danger.

Goldenpup squeaked, jumping back as the deputy ran into camp. She wanted to explore again, but this time without pesky Darkpup. The marshes is where she wanted to go, and she was gonna go there. She tugged at Eaglepup's ear, saying he should follow. She made sure no-one was looking, then bounded off to the stinky marshes.

MeMMothpup overheard goldenpup talk.He wanted to go to the marshes to.so he an out yelling to goldenpup.
"Can i come with mammothpup" yelled after goldenpup

Skyfeather twitched in her sleep at Owlscreech's prod. She felt chilled and worn through, like she had been overused as a pelt for another animal and thrown into the cold river. Though the newleaf air was surrounding her, Skyfeather shivered as a slight breeze went through the camp. In her mind it was dark and, though it scared her, it was comforting. It was better than facing the real world where she knew she could never leave the Clan for Tallfeather because now she was tied down. The white wolf couldn't bare the look on the WindClanner's face if he ever knew about the pups.

No matter, though, Skyfeather knew that the old medicine wolf would keep poking her until she woke up so she reluctantly decided to open her eyes. Light filled her vision, making her flinch back slightly and glare at Owlscreech. "What?" she rasped out, her voice sore from not being used for a while.

Purefeather nodded to Slypaw. "Good. I guess we were lucky enough, but unlucky for those wolves who were injured from these monsters" she said, as Purefeather saw the deputy Snowstorm that came running into the camp. She noticed that this wolf had also nodded at her. As Purefeather were to nod back, he turned away, looking at the camp entrance it seems. Purefeather hang her tail low and nodded back anyway, showing respect. "The others should be back by now." she thought, as she narrowed her blue eyes at the camp entrance as well. Suddenly, there was something not right. Purefeather layed low, and smelt a scent of danger, heading towards the Marshes. She looked up secretly panicking, trying not to show any signs of it. "Goldenpup has left!" she murmered to herself, as she ran to the Marshes softly growling from this pup's trouble.
