StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall. The medicine wolves' den is similar to the apprentice's den but a thick tree with a hole in the bark and a big gray rock inside, and outside there is a small herb growing patch.

Twistedfoot had watched as Cougarpup padded outside of the medicine den, seeming to be okay. She was surprised by how the pup didn't seem to be unhappy about Aurapaw injuring her.  "Be careful not to injure yourself again!" The medicine wolf called after Cougarpup, glancing over at Lightpaw as she noticed her apprentice. "It seems like Cougarpup will be alright, although we could work on memorizing some herbs." Twistedfoot said, looking over at the herb piles; she wondered if she'd need to gather some more soon. "Do you know what herbs we could use for scratches or injuries?" The dark gray wolf asked, looking over at Lightpaw.

Twistedfoot watched as Lightpaw had looked around at the herbs, first at juniper berries, and then marigold and lavender. Hearing Lightpaw's response, she looked back at the apprentice. "Usually lavender is used to heal fevers, or chills, or put on a wolf who is about to be buried." Twistedfoot replied. "I did notice you look at the marigold before, though; it could be used for wounds or scratches, as it stops infection. For the poultice I gave to Cougarpup, I used marigold and tormentil; the marigold was to stop any possible infection, and the tormentil to help her injury heal." She added.

The small frosty dame slowly shuffled her paws in listening to the male's response to her question. She nodded while replying. "That's good; maybe an apprentice will come my way soon." Her mouth opened slowly as her long tongue slightly loomed from her mouth. The sun blazed on her reflective white pelt, though it was still hot. Slowly, she looked back to the male from quickly shooting a glance at the entrance, seeing a brief motion from the wolves in the corner of her eyes. "No, Dewpup and her siblings have no parents. It's a shame; who would abandon pups?" Her voice crackled at 'abandon' as she coughed slightly afterward. Her gentle eyes closed, as she pulled her head down slightly. Normally, it didn't bother her, but this really did. Really bothered her.

Thrushpup yawned as he looked around the camp, glancing over at two warriors as he heard them speaking. He heard his sister's name mentioned, followed by something about 'parents'. Blinking curiously, the red-brown pup padded over to Silktuft and Whitestorm. "What do you mean by saying Dewpup and I have no parents?" The pup asked, looking over at the two other warriors.

Twistedfoot nodded as she heard Lightpaw speak; she was glad her apprentice didn't seem daunted by learning new herbs after getting one wrong. "Would you like to work on learning more herbs, or go out to search for some?" The dark gray wolf asked. Her amber eyes glanced outside of the medicine wolves' den before she looked back to Lightpaw.

Barkpaw padded into the camp, glancing at his mentor as he spoke before going to the Warriors' Den. He blinked in surprise as he noticed Bluepaw run off, unsure what had happened. He thought about going after her to see why she had ran off, but he didn't want to break any rules; he was nearly sure apprentices needed permission before going out of camp. Sighing, Barkpaw sat off towards the sides of the camp, alone, as he wondered what he should do.

Icepup looked over at his brother as he felt him playfully nudge him, looking back at the wolf who Tornadopup had said was their father. From what the pup could tell, his father looked a lot like him, except for not having a dark patch of gray fur. Icepup wasn't sure what his own eye color was, though wondered if it were similar to the other wolf's. "Hi, it's nice to finally meet you!" Icepup said happily as he looked over at Snowstorm.

Thrushpup looked up at Silktuft, seeing her lower her head until she was level with him. He tilted his head at her response; did something happen that he didn't know about? The warrior in front of him had tried to smile, though her ears were pinned back. "Okay," Thrushpup started, before his curiosity came back, and he added; "Is there a reason why I have to find out later?" Thrushpup wasn't sure if what he said was making Silktuft unhappy for some reason, and he wondered if the other wolf, Whitestorm, had anything he was going to say.

Twistedfoot nodded at Lightpaw's decision, nodding once more at the apprentice's next words. The dark gray wolf looked around, using her twisted paw to bring an herb closer to her. The herb had small leaves, and was green. "This herb is thyme; what do you think it could be used for?" Twistedfoot asked as she looked at Lightpaw.

Icepup looked up at Snowstorm as his father had smiled, replying to him as he had flicked the pup's nose with his tail. Icepup smiled in return, glancing at Tornadopup before looking back at Snowstorm. "Are you a warrior?" Icepup asked his father curiously, knowing that the answer was probably true. He did want to hear his father's reply, though; perhaps he even had a different rank!
