Fourtrees #10

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

Bluepup took a step forward to the Windclan pup. The fae growled loudly as she spoke "A family which take care for eachother!" The pup frowned as she continued "And by the things I see, I can't say the same for you, Windclanner." The young one rised her head high, which made her look proud and somehow beautiful in this pose. "You're not worthy to fight against my brother, nor any other wolf from Stormclan." It was pretty obvious that Bluepup was proud member of her clan.

Firestar was not liking the way the gathering was going with arguments and small fights. She decided to say her bit quickly and then deal with the trouble. "ThunderClan is all right at the moment. We have recently had a batch of pups arrive, the lucky parents are my brother Stormchaser and Echobreeze. As well there are several new apprentices: Blackpaw, Crystalpaw, Graypaw, Adderpaw, Owlpaw, Rockypaw, and a new medicine wolf apprentice: Leafpaw. The prey is fine for now with us." She cocked her ears and looked at the other leaders, keeping one eye on the wolves below. "This kind of behaviour is not acceptable," she murmured. "Breaking the sacred peace at the gathering." The fiery wolf was thinking of Aurapaw. She'd bitten her apprentice's nose which'd made her cross.

Swiftstreak listened to the gathering from where he was sitting. The black warrior's eyes opened as firestar spoke. "Finally." The male said in a irritated voice. As he looked over to the apprentices and then back at the highrock. Before he started coughing again, the large warrior wanted to leave already, but decided to stay for the whole gathering.

Grizzlypup was about to snap back at the blue pup,but stopped when a Thunderclanner began the gathering. He snorted,then spat at her paws. "At least my clan knows when not to break the warrior code at gatherings." He flicked his tail and stalked away and out of the hold in the wall.

Redpup's fur flared. He growled when he spat at his sister's paws. "Man,do I wish I could rip apart that stupid furball." He growled and stood up. "Come on you two. Lets go and get outside so we can watch the gathering." Red jumped through the hole,and exited gracefully. He glanced upward,since he was under Great Rock.

Bluepup growled as she quickly got out and stalked the stupid brat from Windclan. "You want to fight! Fine come on you house pet! The fae's fur bristled as she bared her fangs at the male. She was a bit larger than him. She digged her claws in the dirt as she glared at the pup with her rubyred eyes. Suddenly she realised there is no use of that. She quickly took her calm pose as she sighed. "Whatever." she said as she turned around and flicked her long fluffy tail. She padded near the greatrock as she sat down calmly and looked at the leaders.

Grizzlypup completely ignore the oncoming attack from the blue pup. He yawned and sat underneath a tree. His hazel-gray eyes were tired. He arched his back in a stretch and rolled his shoulders.

Redpup snorted when Bluepup came back. "No reason to try. It won't be fun anyways." His tail twitched.

The blue fae smiled at her brother and nodded. She never expected that other clans were so mean. After all she thought she could be friends with everyone, but the Windclan pup wasn't in her list. The pup scooted to her brother and looked around for Barkpup, hoping he will join them soon. She noticed that she hadn't seen her mother around for a while, or atleast while she was in the hideout.

(I feel so stupid for once again asking what's going on...)

(So Ripplestar has asked Graystar what she'll do about Aurapup. And Firestar has started the gathering already)

Snowstorm raced into the clearing. He had followed Tornadopup's scent all the way here. The pup must have followed all the other wolves of StormClan to the gathering. He ran down the hill and began searching for his pup. But now there were too many scents to pick out Tornadopup's, and the pup was so small, it would be very hard to find him in this huge crowd of wolves. But the deputy continued searching.

The dark warrior yawned as he sat up. Swiftstreak stretched out he's body as he flexed he's claws. The male watched the stormclanners bicker with grizzlypup. But he didn't care to what it was about the black male sat looking up at the highrock, to noone in particular, the male just sighed before coughing three more times.

Moonshadow's tail twitched as Crookedjaw didn't answer. "Claw got your tongue?" She snorted. "Might be nice to see an idiot like you bleed."

Barkstripe noticed the gathering was starting. He sighed. "Well,at least on Thunderclan things are good." He blinked and flicked his tail. His golden gaze a little more enlightened then before.

Grizzlypup felt eyes on him,so he turned. Seeing Swiftstreak,he padded over. His ears twitched as he sat down. "You sick there bud?"

Redpup glanced at his sister,then at Barkpup. "Come on,bro. Sit down already. Nothing to worry about. That brat's long gone." He yawned and laid down on hi stomach.

Fernshade sighed as the gathering started. Partially I don't even want to be here. Her ears dangled down from her head. And her tail waved in the air boredly.

The black male looked down at the pup with he's frozen blue glaze. "Yes it wouldn't be wise for you to sit close to me." The dark warrior said in a mono-toned voice. Swiftstreak then looked back at the highrock as he lashed he's tail back and forth.

Grizzlypup shrugged. "Not much to it actually." He waved his tail in the air. "I'm not wise." He chuckled.

Swiftstreak could feel he's insides swell up with a burning sensation. As he coughed even more as trickles of blood came from the side of he mouht. "Well kid... What happened earlier." The male male said as he struggled to keep he's eyes open as he's strenght started to rapidly deminish.

Grizzlypup turns,to hear Swiftstreak cough. He recognized the red spots. Grizzly nudged Swiftstreak. "Lay down. If your standing up your going to hurt yourself." He glanced around. "Hey! Is there any medicine wolf down here?!" He turned back to the black wolf. "Don't talk either,just relax,alright?"

The black wolf stared at the pup. "Don't tell me wha......" Swiftstreak vision had totaly disappeared, as he passed out on the hard floor. The black warrior laid motionless as he couldn't feel or see anything the sick male started to shiver and tense up rapidly.

Grizzlypup growled and glanced around. "Hey! Anyone a medicine wolf or not?!!" He growled and turned to the black old,then the crowd. Are they going to do anything? He gritted his teeth.

Crystalpaw looked up and frowned, she twitched her ears at Creekfire telling him that she would be back. She trotted over to Grizzlypup nosing him in her silent way letting him know that she would fetch the sunclan medicine wolves, she turned and leapt off her white pelt standing out

Scarletsoul noticed alot of wolves were leaving. "Where's Heatherstar?" She whispered to herself and noticed the gathering had started. About time, she thought and cast a glance over at Ottersky. Scarlet's ears perked at the sound of painful coughing coming from a wolf in the gathering. She did not recognise him but could see another wolf beside him calling for a medicine wolf. This can't be good, she exclaimed anxiously and trotted cautiously over to the sick wolf. She wasn't a medicine wolf but she could at least see if se could try and help.

Brokenglare heard Moonshadow fling a bad comment at Crookedjaw. "Hey, h-", she said, but was stopped by the sight of Swiftstreak collapsing and wolves gathering around him. Without any thoughts or doubts she ran over to him, and as all the others, looked at him with worried eyes. "What happened?", she asked in a state of worry and horror.

Grizzlypup stepped back when the white fae nudged him. He turned and noticed Brokenglare and some other Sunclanner wolf come over. "How am I suppose to know? First he's just coughing. Then he falls over and passes out. While coughing up blood!!"

Moonshadow lifted her head as another injury occurred. She gritted her teeth. "How many more wolves are going to get hurt down here?" She lashed out her tail. Completely ignoring Brokenglare's last reply,

Barkstripe dug up the ground with him claws. "How many more things are going to happen? We haven't had a normal gathering for 3 moons!" He snorted and flicked his tail.

Redpup noticed the Windclan pup from before yell for a medicine wolf. He narrowed physical eyes. "Whats up now? First that Sunclanner ends up with a bloody nose. Now,another wolf is coughing up blood." He sighed and shook his head. "Gatherings are a piece of mouse-dung. That is if this happens every time."

Fernshade turned to see Swiftstreak coughed some blood up. She gritted her teeth. Lashing out her tail,she narrowed her eyes. Look,another one. How many more are we going to get? The creases in her face deepened.

Bluepup looked at her brother as she nodded. This was more like a battle field rather than a gathering. She sighed as she looked at the unconscious wolf. She managed to see the Windclan pup from earlier but all she did was a simple blink. "Why are the clans doing this? We all know that this is just a lie. There is no true piece between us." she spoke quietly. It has past only few minutes after she spoke for the first time and now these wise words from her mouth sounded kinda strange even to herself.

Redpup glanced at her. "You never know. Sometimes when were in times of need,we turned to the other clans." He set his head down and yawned. "And it holds us by a small link. But if that link were to break." His ears twitched. "We'd all be in one big war."

Tornadopup sighed and padded over to the side of the clearing. He sat down and looked up at the big rock at the center of the clearing as one of the on top of it began to speak. He cocked his head to the side, still confused as to why they were up there. He watched the wolf for a while before standing up again and walking along the side of the clearing. Eventually, the very small pup came across two wolves. (Swiftstreak and Grizzlypup) One of them was a pup like himself, and the other was a warrior who had blood coming out of his mouth. He padded over to them and said, "Hi! My name is Tornadopup! What are yours?" He jumped back in surprise as the black wolf collapsed. "I-Is he okay?" He asked the other pup.
