Fourtrees #4

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Shadepaw arrived at the gathering, appearing to be the first one, he sat down in the middle of the clearing.

Magmafeather arrived at the gathering. He wondered whether this gathering would be normal or not.

Shadepaw saw a RiverClan wolf, he padded over. "Hi." He said.

Entering the clearing she rested herself below the great rock. Grooming her pelt swiping her pink tongue over her steel gray pelt. The sun barely gave off light as the night chased it on the other horizon.

Shadepaw saw another RiverClan warrior. When would the rest of windClan get here? He thought to himself.

(I am determined to actually remain active in this gathering, if at all possible XD)

Skydust padded into the clearing, the fourtress already filling up with wolves. Not many arrived but to Skydust it was a crowd. Because of his size and his lack of courage when it came to the other clans he usually hid in the back of the gathering, as he was doing now. Sighing the premature male glanced around, he saw his new apprentice conversing with a Riverclan wolf by the looks and smell of it.

Others were coming in, but it appeared that Graystar was the first actual leader. So with that knowledge firmly tucked into the small males mind he turned his attention to the things he knew best. The plants around him.

Foxheart padded into the clearing, aware that only a few wolves where present,"hmm, must be early" She thought silently to herself and chuckled. Looking up she watched the stars as they shone brightly. Something in the corner of her eyes caught her attention, Twisting her head around she watched as a star streaked across the sky "A shooting star!" she gasped and sat down, watching it.

Ripplepup tilted her head this was her first ceremony, she blinked seeing a small male hiding at the back, her tail flicked and she made her way over to him slowly. she sat beside him murmuring "hello"

Shadepaw saw Skydust, his mentor. "Hi Skydust!" He walked towards Skydust who was near Moonpaw.

Ripplepup flinched as she noticed an apprentice walking towards her, she backed up and flicked her ears forward. her blue eyes blinked rapidly.

Featherpaw emerged into the clearing, not very crowded but filling up quickly. She padded down into the small crowd, her small size making her seem like a tiny pup compared to the giant shapes that loomed over her. She shivered a bit, the thought of being smushed under one of the wolves gruesome. Regaining her posture, Featherpaw fluffed out her fur a bit, her tail high and her chest puffed out. She was determined to look like an apprentice, and not some silly pup who wandered out of camp for it's first gathering.

Direpaw bounced onto the neutral ground and glanced around he stared up at the stars and the four trees. he blinked and walked over to the big rock in the middle, he had been here before once. he sat down and yawned, his eyes having turned bloodred from when he ran into brambles on the way to the gathering. he shifted his paws and stared around at the land with a slightly redtinted gaze. his eyes now bloodred. he shivered a little and turned his head and licked his side.

Skydust took a moment to notice the little pup near him. "Well greetings pup what is your name?" It was different for someone to engage in conversation with him, but he was always willing to do so. it was then that his apprentice showed, up. Smiling the young Medicine wolf dipped his head in greeting. "Hello Shadepaw, how are you?" He took a moment to look at his new apprentice before trying to find where the little pup had gone. The little she wolf was cowering away from his apprentice, goodness knows why, they were medicine wolf and apprentice not to warriors. "You need not be afraid" He commented in his soft and caring voice. The voice he used when he was addressing a patient that was hurt or sick.

Pading into the clearing she noticed several wolves already

"Do I get to meet the other medicine wolves tonight Skydust?" He asked before following his mentors line of site to the small RiverClan apprentice. His eyes kind.

Noticing some windclan wolves she went over and said "hi im hawkpool i believe we met before shadepaw i suppose and who might you be" she then sat down next to them

"Hi Hawkpool, we have met before haven't we." He joked. I'm not an apprentice yet, I have to wait to go to Moonstone first." He said kindly towards the ThunderClan male.

Skydust turned back to his apprentice "If they show tonight, yes you will meet them, but i have seen little of the other Medicine Wolves, in some time." He smiled ruefully. He turned though when another voice came to him. It was unlike him to have so many visitors, maybe having an apprentice showed? "Greetings Hawkpool, it is nice to meet you, I am Skydust Windclan Medicine wolf, and Shadepaws mentor." He said with pride bubbling forth.

Nodding back to the medice wolves she said "well it was also nice to meet both of you and i hope starclan protectes you on your trip to the moonstone" she thn got up and padded off then noticed a riverclan pup she then went over and said "well hello there who might you br" she then smiled

Shadepup smiled back. He was gonna call himself Shadepaw, but he wasn't a paw yet.

Rainstar padded into the clearing. Her head and tail held high . A smile spread across her muzzle, maybe the last time things had not gone smoothly. But there had been no incidents and she felt a bit better, carrying herself higher. She padded forward with confidence, and stopped at the base of the great rock. Gathering herself for the jump, shesprang up and laned a bit awkwardly. She chuckled a bit and arranged herself into a more comfortable position. Her head turned as she looked at Graystar, she bowed her head in respect to the other leader. "Well hello Graystar." Her voice was kind and soft. Her eyes looked below her to all the gatheing wolves.
