Snakerocks

Swiftpaw really wanted to rip the dumb mutts into pieces they where just lost two leg pets, he hissed he was frustrated that we wasn't going to whoop there butts, infact we was going some place else. He wondered why blackhawk would rather aviod them.

Blackhawk turned seeing that neither of them followed."C'mon we have to go!" There was an urgency in his voice and pain. His eyes seemed filled with tears, "We have to go now!" His voice grew harsh and mean.

Swiftpaw rolled he's eyes, "Fine. Let's go Lunapaw we will come back to kick these little lap dogs butts," As the walked back swiftpaw saw two pups, close by. What where they doing outside camp.

Blackhawk growled at their ignorance. Had they no idea? Obviously not! His voice was harsh and deep, "Get going now!" Blackhawks fur was bristled, he was not happy at all.

Bouncing up a hill there and down another there, Eviepup had arrived at where she tracked Swiftpaw. Though arriving she never even noticed the big dogs on the other side of them, she could see Blackhawk's fur all bristled. Maybe it was a bad time to arrive, though a loud yelp fled her maw as she stumbled on an upturned root. She kinda bounced and landed wrong which in turn made her paw stuck, her ears pressed flat against her cranial as she glanced at Swiftpaw and Blackhawk and Lunapaw. She would be in trouble for sure if Rainstar noticed that she left without permission. Though due to her good tracking skills she found them.

Blackhawk turned his head, and saw pups. Memories flooded his head. He shook it away and growled. Swiftly he was next to the pup and pushed her back, "what do you think you are doing!?" The male was a wreck, he was nervous and angry.

"Forget it let's go we need to leave quickly you might aswell come with us now you have come all this way what was you thinking you could have got killed.". As Swiftpaw stood next to blackhawk he nudge the pups back towards the left they was heading to sunningrocks.

Eviepup's paw was still kind of stuck in the upturned roots, when they pushed her it only hurt her more. With a whine she nipped at Swiftpaw, though not in anger but in pain. Her tail turned up towards her back as her ears pressed towards her cranial. Her eyes darted from one to the other. The towards Brightpup which was late, this time.

"My.. P-paw is stuck! Ouch!"

Blackhawk eyes dilated that word, 'killed'. He sat down a soft whine coming from deep in his chest. Dogs were not something to kid around with. He watched them remembering his even younger sibling. Yes, Rainstar and Blackhawk had had a younger brother. But he had been dumb enough to enter a house and wa soon killed by a dog. It was horrid and painful. His cries were heard the whole night. Blackhawk's eyes hardened. It would not happen again. With a snarl he pushed them all forwarsd. "Move faster you have the speed run, if nyone is going to die it will be me." Blackhawk meant what he said as he pushed them forward. He stopped hearing a yelp. With a soft growl he looked at the pup and easily got her unstuck, "Now go!" There was movement in the cave.

Swiftpaw made sure that both of the pup was running ahead of him keeping them in front, he repeatedly looked back as lunapaw was with blackhawk as we all sprinted away from the wild dogs in the cave. We all headed to sunningrocks.

Being freed only made her stay, her tail held high as her maw held low. A slight rumble escaping Eviepup, she may be a pup but instinct taken ahold of her. She was going to stay even if she were to get in trouble for what she did. That is what a true warrior does, to protect the pack and everyone inside at all costs. Now she wasn't a warrior but she had the courage and heart of one.

"You die, I die. I will not let momma Rainstar's bubba die alone."

With that she flicked her left ear as the movement seemed to slowly approach the mouth of the cave, the stench of something had almost made her stomach turn. She had smelled the same thing when she left the camp.

Blackhawk chuckled, "fine we both go but we have to go now." with his twisted leg the warrior was no match for even one of the dogs. He pushed the pup, "Go before I bite you." He was kidding but his face seemed deadly serious.

Brightpup had found herself going a different way than Evie did. Hearing the growling of dogs and the words of her clanmates, Bright leaped fom the bush she was hiding in, landing near her friend. She nudged Evipup. "He's a trained warrior. You are not. Evie, let's go!" She growled to her friend. Nudging the pup away, hoping she will understand. "We have to leave Eviepup." She said, blocking her friend from returning to Blackhawk as she cotninued trying to nudge her toward Swiftpaw.

With a slight nuzzle to his left flank she had made sure he left first, before glancing back her lobes to attention. Whatever was in that cave seemed to cast a huge shadow on the entrance mouth, her tail frizzled as they dashed off to sunning rocks hoping Swiftpaw was there. Though she made sure she stayed behind Blackhawk at all times.

(Really dogs are nothing to wolves if we was going to run from something it should be a puma or bear.)

Swiftpaw kept a steady pace he did not need to sprint like the rest. He looked back, "Come on everyone!" Swiftpaw encourages everyone to keep together.

Bounding into the clearing,she lost scent of the loner. She then shrugged and saw eviepup. She then sighed and padded over and yanked her out. "Ok go back to camp,ok i have things to attend to,alright. Also i suggest you telling rainstar anout this,cause sonner or later she will find out." She then perked up her ears and smelled something familiar. dogs.... she then growled silently and said "go to camp and tell rain that there are dogs in the territory." She then jumped off the rock and landed gravfully. She then bounded off tracking the scent.

*Scratch considered everything he'd witnessed. Where there were were dogs, there were probably humans. He feared humans more than anything else.* Hmm... Maybe I should join that pack. *He remembers his encounter with Hawk Pool.* Oh, wait. They'd just tear me to shreds.*After much consideration, Scratch came up with a plan. He would double back to throw his pursuers off his trail and head for the training area. He began to creep stealthily through the woods until he found a clearing littered with half-eaten body parts.*
Who doesn't eat as much of their kill as possible? It's so wasteful!*Then he heard a growl. An Irish wolfhound emerged from the undergrowth and lunged for Scratch's throat. He bolted in panic to Thunder Clan's Camp*

The thunderclan deputy padded up to snakerocks and flicked his ears around saying "snakes live here, i was once bitten by one, the medicine wolf saved my life" he smiled a little feeling a sence of urgency to get home. turning he smiled to caprina "well thats the territory, lets head back rainstar probbaly has chores for me to do" he chuckled and began running back to camp.
-camp

Caprina gave the snake rocks a cautious look, her feet lightly treading across the ground as she cautiously maneuvered around the stones. "Snake bites were also very dangerous in my land, you medicine wolf must be a skilled healer to have saved you from its grip." She commented before following the powerful male back to camp.

-camp-

Rainstar padded forward and stopped once she saw the rocks within sight. She closed her eyes and breathed in the fresh scent of the snow. The chilly breeze made the wild wolf's fur ruffle, like the long green grass of the moors. This was the kind of day Rainpup had run away from camp with Blackpup. They had played all day and ended up sleeping at the roots of the Great Sycamore. She smiled at the memory and how their parents had come after them. She sighed and set to work immediatley dropping into the hunters crouch. Prey no longer ran like before, so she worked intently to find some. A small rustle in the undergrowth caught her attention immediatley. and the soft sound of snow crunching under the prey's weight. She stood still as the sound got louder and she knew it was coming towards her. But something was different, the snow crunched differenlty. She stayed frozen thinking of what it was, when a tan colored body appeared from behind the rocks. It was an young, but injured buck. Rainstar was impressed but made no movement yet. Her tail swished in silenlty in signal to Brightpaw. The rather small buk froze making Rain tense. It's nose twitched and she winced as if she had been hit hoping it would not run off. If it did, she would chase it but did not want to go to such an extreme. She waited to see the animals next move. It kept walking closer and closer.

Brightpaw followed her leader, wordlessly focusing on not letting her paws make a lot of sound on the snow. When Rain stopped, she stopped and imediately started to sniff the air. The smell of prey was nearby. She caught the scent of something she had neither seen nor smelled before and she cautiously crept closer to Rain, noticing the signal she made. Quietly Bright managed to spot the creature and realized from what she had been told that that was a deer. She watched it a few more moments and sniffed. It was a male, she could tell, and obviously injured. The apprentice slipped to the side ever so quietly, instinctively pausing when the buck looked her way. Soon she was to the side of him, crouched behind a pile of snow that was in the shade. She poked her head just high enough over the snowpile to be able to see the prey. She glanced at Rain, waiting for her leader to make the first move. After all, this was her first time hunting deer, let alone a male one.

Rainstar mae sure Brightpaw was ready. Shemoved slightly and the buck looked up. he dark female froze, as she was dark colored she was easily seen against the background. She winced, but it was a bit too late, she had been seen. a moment of hesitation opened a door for Rain. Smiling a bit she lunged at it, knocking into its chest. She slid under and raked its belly, inflicting gruesome damage. She smiled, finally running! Already wounded the deer was slow and easy. "Lets go!" The fae ran after the buck an excited glint in her eyes.

It is time Cliffpaw murmured to herself. The drums in her head grew steadily louder like a migraine that made your head pulse. Voices whispered to her quietly and ordering her to do this, that, and the other thing. As she crossed the ThunderClan border she felt them growing steadily louder. Her eyes guarded, the wolf stalked past the trees and to the familiar territory she recognized as the Snakerocks. Something pulled her here, though it was for a reason that related to her past. Smiling evilly, she padded further towards the dangerous place. It seemed like she was in tune with the nature here- she could feel the vibration of the slithering snakes underneath the rocks. One misstep and you would be done for- though that didn't really matter to her, now. Cliffpaw felt a need to walk directly into ThunderClan camp, since it wouldn't be like they could do anything about it anyway, and even if they saw her they wouldn't remember for long. Every step she took, the strong apprentice felt power in every foot that slammed towards the earth, and in every breath she took she could feel herself growing stronger. The afternoon was bright, at least for now. Soon it would be misty and dark and much more.. appealing.

Brightpaw waited until Rain made her attack before she leapt from her hiding spot. She was quick and managed to keep up well enough despite her shorter legs. Then again, the deer was weak originally and made weaker from Rain's attack. Bright was a bit unsure what to do at first. With an animal this size, pinning it down and making a swiftbite would certainly be more difficult. She raced along with Rain, then go an idea and ran to the side of the buck. She leapt at it's side, hoping to cause it to stumble ad slow so Rain could possibly drag it to the ground. She collided with the buck and managed to push the deer a little, causing him to stumble a bit. But when she came back to the ground, she too stumbled.

But that wouldn't stop Bright. She quickly got to her paws, shook herself off, then dashed away after the buck. There as plenty of meat on this animal and she was determined to catch it.
