Not far off from the river, there is a Twoleg bridge upstream. Rarely any twolegs visit during the colder days, but during the warmer days, twoleg kits with their mothers visit for some fun. Stay with caution.

Redsust growled and slashed away some pebbles. He replied through clenched teeth. "I am going to kill that Twolegged." He glanced behind him,his red eyes wild and mad. He growled and stalked after Whitestorm. You will curse the day you even set foot in this territory. And I will curse the rest of your very,very short lives.

The brown fae came quickly. She headed straight to the three where she found the strange small weapon. Lowering her head she sniffed around carefully. The scent of Bluepaw was strong. A small step away from the tree she caught the scent of the two-legged. It seemed that whoever took her daughter was a male. Luna growled loudly as she continued her mission. She slowly began following the scent which adjusted her to the bridge. Slowly the warrior stepped unsure on the wooden bridge. She quickly crossed it and again sniffed around. Unfortunatelly this time the scent of Blue and the two-legged suddenly disappeared. Lunalight couldn't believe this. It was impossible, it just can't be. "How could a scent disappear like that..?" she thought.

Lightpaw walked towards the twoleg bridge, her lilac eyes filled with tears as she sat down, a distance away from her mother. She could scent the twolegs, and just as she had suspected it was recent. Lightpaw thought she heard a voice, she quickly turned her head but saw nothing and scented nothing.
"I-I would of saved you. I'm sorry..." Lightpaw cried out as she pushed her head into her paws.
"B-blue... Swift... i'm sorry." She whispered as she closed her lilac eyes listening to the river's current.

Lunalight looked around nerveously. "No.. NO! It can't just disappear..." she yelled. The brown fae was confused, scared, hurt. The sorrow made her lose hope. The mother looked at her crying daughter as her eyes filled with tears too.
Suddenly the warrior sat back. her ears lowered as she began breathing faster and harder. "It can't disappear.." she murmured. Her look became hazy as she slowly laid down on the ground. Not able to see nor breath properly the fae closed her eyes. "It's my fault. I lost my pups.. I lost my little angels.. It's all my fault." quietly she spoke to herself.

Lightpaw lifted her head slowly. Looking at Lunalight who was yelling about scents.
Scents...? Light thought. Slowly she stood up, and padded towards the tree Luna had been at. The twoleg scent lingered in the air as she sniffed around. As she padded a bit forward the scent suddenly disappeared.
She was right. It disappeared just like that. But how? Light thought. A growl escaped her feeling angry that she couldnt catch the scent. Stomping forward in the direction the scent disappeared, she stoped in her tracks as she saw something. In a muddy spot of the forest there were odd markings; they looked like paw prints kind of but they were larger.
"Luna! Luna I found something!" Lightpaw exclaimed.

Lying on the ground with no hope a sudden voice made her open her eyes. The brown fae rised up. She looked at Lightpaw who apparently found something. "Ok Luna no time to lose hope. You have to be strong for Bluepaw." she thought. These words made the warrior feel a little bit better. She felt strenght filling her muscules. She took a deep breath and quickly galloped to her daughter.
She stopped and looked at the prints which Lightpaw found. She lowered her head and sniffed the ground. "Two-legs." the she-wolf said.
Rising her head up the wolf looked around. Once again she felt enough strong, she had enough hope to continue and to make all of the efforts she could to find her daughter and the others.
"I could recognize the scent of the two-leg. I think it is a male but I'm not 100% sure. By the print I may suggest it is large, really large." It was known that humans are larger than wolves but the foot print was larger than Luna expected. It seemed that the human who took Blue was mature.

"Alright. Lets go warn Shadestar and Graystar!" Lightpaw exclaimed. The medicine wolf apprentice began to sprint towards camp.
Bluepaw... Swiftpaw.... we'll save you. Light thought to herself as she ran to camp.

Lunalight nodded to her daughter. She watched her leave as she stayed put for a while. Then the brown fae looked around carefully. She glanced at the foot print once again. "Hang on guys, we're coming." she whispered as she looked at the sky.
Then the warrior got up and quickly ran back to the camp.

Snowstorm slowly approached the clearing where the Twoleg Bridge was, stopping at the edge of it, looking around and lifting his nose into the air, taking a large whiff of the air. The scent was recent, but it wasn't new enough that any Twolegs could be here. He looked around again, slowly crept out in a crouch like he been. But when he reached the bridge, he stood up and - once again - looked around as he waited for the others to arrive.

Reddust arrived second. His tail whipping up some pebbles behind him. He lowered his muzzle and took a deep breath. Opening his maw a little. Red sighed,and stole a glance at Snowstorm. He turned to look on the other side of the shore,but called back at the deputy. "This is where Blue was taken. I don't think they've taken anyone else from here." Reddust flicked his tail and peered through brush. Scenting around the shore.

Barkclaw trotted over to the Twoleg bridge, noting that Snowstorm and Reddust had already arrived. He could catch the scent of Twolegs- he expected this as they had built this bridge- though he also caught the more recent scents of Lunalight and Lightpaw. He heard Reddust mention that Bluepaw had been taken here, though no one else had been. "I think this is where Lightpaw said she and Lunalight found Twoleg pawprints." Barkclaw called over to the other two warriors, padding nearby the edge of the bank.

Leopardpaw strutted after the warriors, breathing in all the scents. This was all new to her - this was her first time out of camp. Oh, how she could lay sunning herself on all these rocks and in all these leafy glades! As she stepped out on the bridge, she sniffed it carefully, wandering if she could perhaps have a swim in the water later. After a good wash, her pelt would look better than ever!
Leopardpaw was distracted with the conversation going on between Barkclaw, Grizzlypaw and Snowstorm. She especially distrusted the windclanner out of the three. Windclanners, she thought, even though this was the first windclanner she's interacted with. They're all the same. "So do we follow them?" she asked, making it sound more like an order than a question.

Silkstream arrived at the Twoleg Bridge. She cautiously scented the air, making sure that no twolegs were around before padding up beside Leopardpaw. Hearing her apprentice's words, Silk turned to Leopardpaw.
"If Snowstorm says to then yes, we'll follow them." Silkstream said as she sat down.

Reddust didn't reply to his brother,and continued the try and catch Blue's stale scent. His face then felt numb,and his eyes grew heavy. He coughed and sputtered out the foreign odor. He crinkled his nose in disgust,and peered at the ground. Careful not to breath in more of its fumes. "Hey! I think I found something!" He had come up to a tree,which the dart had once been stuck in.

Leopardpaw looked up as Silkstream arrived, answering the apprentice's question. She was about to reply to her mentor, but then the sound of Reddust made her pause. She bounded over, barging past the male to look at what he had found herself. She couldn't see anything, and frowned. "What is it? There's nothing here." She sent an accusatory glance towards Reddust, as though suspecting that he made it up for attention - something that she herself did at every opportunity.

Reddust's eye twitched when the apprentice came up. "If you can't tell,then ask Silkstream over there." He nodded towards the young warrior,then lowered his muzzle to the roots of the tree. He sneezed as the fu,es came up again. His lungs ached a little. "I lost them. This 'stuff' sniffed out the scent." He snorted,the rotting tree gave off a bad scent.

Silkstream heard Reddust mention Leopardpaw asking a question. Standing up, the small, silky-furred she-wolf padded up to the tree. She narrowed her minty green eyes for a moment, trying to see if there was anything there. Quickly enough Silk then caught a scent that was coming off the tree. She tried to think for a moment, before turning to Reddust.
"Wasn't this the place Lunalight and Lightpaw were before? I remember hearing something about the twoleg bridge. You were in the leader's den when Luna came back. Do you know what was here?" Silkstream asked, as she placed her forepaw near where a small mark in the tree was.

Reddust stepped aside to let Silkstream take a look. He yawned,tears appeared in the crinkles of his eyes. He sniffed and replied to her. "Yeah,this is where they found that thing." He sat down and curled his tail around his paws. "I was there,but I didn't see what it was,Silkstream." He flicked his ears and glanced over at Barkclaw and Snowstorm.

Silkstream blinked at Reddust's words, then gave a nod.
"I thought that maybe you would have seen it." She said quietly, as she sniffed at the tree.
"Whatever was here wasn't too big. I mean, it only left a tiny dent into this tree. Its not even noticeable, really." Silk said as she let out a sigh.

Snowstorm listened to the others as they arrived and began to speak. Then, after a bit, Reddust discovered something, which Leapordpaw and Silkstream also went over to investigate. He strode over to the tree and stood next to Reddust, taking a sniff at the tree and wrinkling his muzzle when the horrible scent filled his nostrils. "I've never..." he coughed. "Smelled this before." The deputy let out another large cough, as the scent filled all of his senses. "The Twolegs' scent is fading away, but this is as if it just happened a moment ago." He looked at the indent in the tree. "But this was definitely made by Twolegs."

Barkclaw listened as the other wolves spoke amongst themselves, and the brown-furred warrior looked up as he heard Reddust's call, padding over towards where his brother and the rest of the patrol were. He heard Silkstream mentioning what Lunalight and Lightpaw had found; he remembered something about a strange object, but hadn't really paid attention to what it looked like. Barkclaw stepped forward, sniffing at where the tree was dented. The warrior coughed upon scenting something horrible, wrinkling his nose as he quickly padded back. "What is that scent?" Barkclaw muttered out, continuing to cough slightly. Shaking out his pelt, Barkclaw listened as Snowstorm mentioned that the Twolegs' scent was beginning to fade away. "Hmm... I wonder why there's that strange scent near the mark in the tree. I wonder if the Twolegs wanted that scent to be there." Barkclaw murmured, wondering why that scent had stayed longer than the Twoleg scent.

Thunderpaw sat behind Silkstream with a slight glare at her apprentice. She deserved better than a snot-osed kid that tries to reap all the attention. He walked up to where the scent was and he siffed it. "What is that?" he said with coughs inbetween the words.

Reddust nodded at Silkstream. Kinda feeling guilty for sorta snapping back. The bushes lining the shore were suddenly interesting. He blinked his red eyes and heard Snowstorm's and his brother's voice behind him. He replied to both of them without turning. "Yeah,it's not natural." Be crept closer to the shaking bushes. "Oh,and Barkclaw,Blue is very fast. You know that...She probably dodged that first one." He then lowered his head. Aiming for whatever was there to come out. He sighed when Thunderpaw Cme up,it he then quickly perked up and growled. "Did Graystar tell an apprentice like you,to go out of camp?" He flicked his tail and approached the apprentice.

Snowstorm looked over his shoulder at Thunderpaw as the apprentice spoke. "We don't know what it is, only that the Twolegs used it to capture one of the missing wolves, and that it's scent is staying longer than the Twolegs'," he replied. Then, Reddust snapped at the apprentice for leaving the camp alone. Snowstorm decided to stay out of it and not interfere unless he saw it fit, so he turned his attention back to the dent in the tree and continued to examine it.

"I was supposed to go with Silkstream and Leopardpaw so I am part of your patrol." Thunderpaw snapped. He had the same amount of rights here as any of them, really. He was older and, and even the slightest bit taller than Silkstream and he was still an apprentice. "You cannot confine me to camp when a more superior said I could come." His accent had the slightest hint of annoyance and disgust. He flicked his ear and glared at Reddust. If he thinks I should stay who said he had to pay attention to me? He never even went to look for Dew- er- Dewstorm before she was made a warrior.
