Burnt Sycamore

Twistedfoot looked over to Whitestorm, seeing him smile at her reaction before saying that he was on patrol with Opalwing and Silentwhisper; she didn't really recognize the latter name, though supposed it was possible another wolf might have joined the Clan. Whitestorm had stated that the two other warriors had went over to the river, before he and Lunalight had come here. She nodded, listening as Whitestorm asked her a question. "Shadestar told Lightpaw and I to make sure we had enough herbs, so we were just trying to gather as much as we could in any particular place. We're alright so far; I haven't noticed any signs of Twolegs." Twistedfoot replied. "Did you notice any Twoleg signs so far?" The medicine wolf asked somewhat curiously; she did hope there weren't any more Twolegs, or that no one else had been taken.

Twistedfoot glanced down at the coltsfoot, deciding to start gathering the herb as she spoke to Whitestorm and waited for Lightpaw. She had looked back to the warrior as he replied, saying that his patrol had found Aurafrost's scent, but hadn't seen her. "Really? I hope Aurafrost is alright; I wonder how Twolegs could have possibly found an old Clan camp." The medicine wolf wondered out loud, hoping that StormClan's current camp would fare better. "You haven't noticed any more Twoleg scents or such, right?" Twistedfoot asked as she placed some coltsfoot onto a leaf, looking back over to Whitestorm for his reply.

Twistedfoot nodded as Whitestorm mentioned he hadn't seen any Twolegs, though blinked in surprise as he added what had happened to SunClan. "Aurorapaw has disappeared? She was just here at StormClan; the Twolegs must be in the whole forest." Twistedfoot replied, her pelt bristling slightly at the thought of being so close to Twolegs. She nodded at what Whitestorm said next; she remembered the Gathering being spoken about when she was in the Leaders' Den. "I hope the Gathering takes place as well, and that your and Lunalight's patrol turns out alright." Twistedfoot said, glancing over at Lightpaw as the medicine wolf apprentice and set some coltsfoot nearby. She nodded to Lightpaw in thanks for gathering the herb, perking her ears as she heard Lunalight speak. She had also agreed that Aurafrost had been taken, just as Bluepaw had been. "I really do hope we find the missing wolves." Twistedfoot said in reply.

Twistedfoot nodded as Whitestorm spoke, before he had trotted away. She wondered if Creekfire had already returned from WindClan; she hoped he was alright. The medicine wolf looked down at the herbs both she and Lightpaw had gathered, seeing they had cobwebs, poppy seeds, stinging nettle, and coltsfoot. "We've found a lot here, did you want to continue gathering herbs here or at a different place?" Twistedfoot said, looking over to her apprentice.

Twistedfoot looked over at Lunalight as the warrior spoke, hearing what she said. Lunalight had soon trotted off, and the dark gray wolf looked back to Lightpaw. "We do have a lot of herbs both here and back at camp, besides the horsetail and marigold that we were low on. Shall we go either to the river or Twoleg bridge, or would you rather head back to camp? It's your choice; either way, I believe we will have enough herbs." Twistedfoot said, deciding to give Lightpaw the decision to make. She wanted to see what her apprentice thought was best, as well as give Lightpaw an opportunity to decide where to go next.

Twistedfoot noticed Lightpaw's reaction as she mentioned going to the river, also seeing the apprentice glance back at her paws before responding. The dark gray wolf wondered why, until realizing that Twolegs had taken StormClan wolves there. Twistedfoot wondered for a moment what was happening to the captured wolves, before twitching her ears and deciding not to picture it. "If you don't want to go near the river because Twolegs were there, that's alright. I could go and gather the herbs we need at the river, and you could go back to camp if you wanted to." Twistedfoot said, uncertain if leaving Lightpaw by herself in the forest would be a good idea. She decided it could be okay, and trusted that Lightpaw would be able to get back to the camp fast if she needed to. "I'll head off to the river now, you can come if you'd like to. If not, though, do be careful in the forest- remember to run away from the Twolegs if you do see any." Twistedfoot said, picking up the two different bundles of herbs she had. The medicine wolf waited to hear her apprentice's response, before she walked back to the river.
