Burnt Sycamore

First topic message reminder :

Apprentices come to train here to practice attacking and killing prey. Many times of prey can be found here including moose, deer, elk, muskrats, snakes, lizard, and raccoons. There is a large burnt sycamore in this territory, which was struck by lightning long ago. It is a dead tree, now, but was clearly large and lush at one time.

Ravenpup nodded gently setting her bag down she dived into the water, swimming clumsily she picked some plants with her teeth, her eyes half open under the clear fast flowing water. she swam back up and placed the plants on the side of the stream before swimming under the water again. grolwing a little to herself, and glanced around searching for a fish. with a paw she reached out and using her long claws sliced the side of the fish open. she swam over to the fish and picked it up in her maw. leaping up out of the water she placed the fish in the bag and then the plants. slipping her bag around her neck she smiled fiantly "ok im ready lets go back to camp"
without waiting for a reply from nightfeather the worried pup turned and began making her way back to camp

Silentpup looked at the sliced fish and smiled. Violence He thought to himself.
"Im exhausted from this walking, lets go back to camp!" He announced.

~ Shadowclan camp ~

Nightfeather yawned and stood up. Finally, they had everything. Now all she had to concern herself about was whether the medicine would work or not. She glanced at Silentpup as he announced his exhaustion and nodded. The warrior took a quick look around, just in case there were predators, herbs, or prey, and then took off in the direction of the camp.

Silentpaw arrived. He waited for Ravenpaw as he agreed to teach her some hunting. He sharpened his claws on a nearby stone and yawned. He sniffed the air. Moose, he thought. Better tell Shadestar. He licked a wound on his leg.

Her red eyes pierced the night. Her claws barely noticeable as her hollow image watched them. Yes, enjoy it while you can. She faded back as she turned. Her red eyes fading with the rest of her body.

Ripplepaw burst into the area and stopped seeing silentpaw and ravenpaw, her eyes widened before she flicked her tail and said "please dont attack! I just came to talk to ravenpaw" her tail tucked under her baby blue eyes glittering with slight remorse

Ravenpaw padded up and smiled faintly. sitting down she flicked her tail and tilted her head "well you can repay me for healing you by teaching me how to fight, silentpaw is gonna need all the help he can get" twitching her ears the apprentice smiled and yawned faintly.

Darkdeath appeared form the shdows. His dark pelt perfectly matched as he watched a disgusted look on his face. He grumbled, how weak they should know how to fight since smaller. With a flick of his tail he disappeared.

Ripplepaw murmured to ravenpaw "i cant go back to riverclan" she paused and said "i had a dream about two pups here, could i talk to them later?" she blinked her babyblue eyes and watched ravenpaw with a hopeful look. her black tipped tail swished a little as she waited for the kind wolfs response.

Fangpaw had arrived, only to see Ripplepaw and some Shadowclan wolves. Well, ain't that a marvoulous surprise. His eyes widened as he saw Ravenpaw, and since the gash on his shoulder had healed, might as well do something. Charging with great speed, the apprentice raced towards the medicine wolf apprentice, and leaped then pinned her down gently at Ravenpaw. "Fight back. This is your lesson." He told her with a smirk and a sparkle in his turquoise eyes. "I won't hurt you. I promise."

Ravenpaw yipped with a little suprise and grinned up at him a sly twinkle in her eyes "i trust you fangpaw" she lowered her eyelids half way then struggled, her front paws began flailinghelplessly smacking fangpaw over the head by accident. her midnight blue eyes were slightly worried as she tried to get free, she was doing her best wriggin around like a worm. she yanked her head up and flinched away as their noses touched. her eyes stard at him in wonder.

Fangpaw couldn't help but to chuckle as Ravenpaw tried to wriggle free from his not so heavy grasp. When the Shadowclan apprentice said something about not know how, he didn't think she actually meant it. Sure, he had a mentor, but teaching what he knew to Ravenpaw might be harder than he thought. Just as he was about to let Ravenpaw free, Fangpaw felt a cold touch upon his nose to realize it was the Shadowclan wolf's nose.

Now embarassed, the apprentice jumped off, before playbowing to Ravenpaw acting as if nothing of the sort had happened. Sure, it effected him, but he said nothing. "So, you can't really get out of the whole pinning thing, try to pin me." She had to have some skill in fighting; right?

Ravenpaw pinned her eears and narrowed her midnight blue eyes. leaping she clumsily knocked into him and landed ontop of him. her ears perked "i did it!" shehad about as much fighting skill as a pup, it was lucky that she was a medicine apprentice where she wouldnt ever have to really fight hopefully. she got off him and sat down her tail wagging, glancing at ripplepaw sheflicked he ears and said "ill bring oakpup and shadowpup thereonce they have become apprentices"

Fangpaw chuckled. Really? That was not it. Smirking, the apprentice rolled out and under from her grasp. Just as he thought. Not a tight grip. Now standing up straight, the apprentice himself shook his pelt from the marshy lands and sat down, before curling his fluffy tail around his paws ever so elegantly. "There's to defensive and offensive fighting than pinning and getting free."

Ravenpaw tilted her head and watched fangpaw with interested eyes "oh really?" she asked, curlingher tail over her paws she gave a slight yawn and continued watchign fang. she had left hermedicine bag back at camp. the furaround her neck was thick ad shiny.

Fangpaw nodded as if he knew everything about fighting. It was just his way to impress this girl he likes, y'know? "One must dodge and defend as well. But, my mentor hadn't taught me anything about it yet sooo. I don't know how." Fangpaw admitted, then twitched his tail to admit his little charade of a mr.knowitall. "But over time, I will probably know."

ravenpaws eyes glittered with admiration of fangpaw "i suck at fighting but im ok at healing" she flicked her tail and padded over to ripplepaw, checking the white apprentices wounds the blue black fae walked back over to fang paw and sat down.she sighed and said "ill never be a good fighter, but ill try and be the best healer i can be" her midnight blue eyes flicked up and met fangpaws turquoise ones. she flicked her ears before turning her head over to stoatpaw and ripplepaw, the medicine apprentice licked her chest shyly

The apprentice himself nodded at her words, though said nothing of them. "Well, I know you're going to be a great medicine wolf." He replied with with a solemn smile across his features. "But, Ravenpaw. Can you disguise our scent from the rest of ShadowClan when we leave? And not tell anyone that were were here? Please?" He begged the she-wolf with a small flick of his tail and ear. He didn't want any trouble for the rest of the clans to know that three apprentices from RiverClan has crossed over to the Shadowclan territory.

Ravenpaw smiled and nodded "sure fangpaw" she wagged her a little her midnight blue eyes watching him again. she licked his cheek before padding over silentpaw and beginning to smear herbs all over the ground covering the river clanninans scent.

Once Ravenpaw licked his cheek, the apprentice couldn't help but to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. 'No, Fangpaw. This isn't right.' He thought to himself before standing up and shaking out his fur. "I didn't mean nowww. But if you want you could." He told Ravenpaw, then adding a light chuckle.

Ravenpaw flicked her ears over at her firend and laughed a little, she flicked her tailhaving fixed up most of the clearing. she padded back over to fangpaw and sat down besidehim,. their pelts brushing. she herself felt warm and happy around him. she smild shy ly at him.

Ripplepaw flicked her black ears back and sighed sadly, her babyblue eyes glitterin sadly. shaking her head she stood and flicked her tail she turned and said to stoatpaw and fangpaw "im sorry i cant stay in riverclan anymore, i have to join direbloods clan of the sun" her eyes glittered with a feircness "ill wait in shadowclan with the other two who are going to join it" she swished her tail "stoatpaw... im sorry" Tears filled ravenpaws eyes as she turned and padded away.

Fangpaw smiled back at Ravenpaw, though in an instant his smile was replaced with a frown. Ripplepaw really hated Riverclan it seemed. "Ripplepaw!" He shouted. But it was too late. She was already halfway back to the camp, and who knows what Shadestar would do to find out a RiverClan apprentice was taking refuge with them. "Uhhhh...." He was panicking. "I dunno if I should follow or not. Cause then Shadestar might rage at us..." He admitted to Ravenpaw. From this little scene, Fangpaw hadn't realized that their pelts were brushing against one another.
