Fourtrees #4

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

She blinked her eyes and glanced up at the wolves she huddled more into the bushes her eyes wide and frightened. she whimpered softly saying "m-my names Ripplepup" she frowned a little then glanced up at graystar and another wolf, she had arrived with forest smelling wolves so she assumed that they were thunderclan so that wolf up on the rock beside graystar must be the thunderclan wolf, she glanced around at the other wolves around her, shadepaw and skydust and hawkpool she had gathered their names by listening, she learnt so much by listening.

"Hello there Graystar and Rainstar, I am happy to see that some leaders are here already."she smiled as she padded over to them.

Russetstar hurried into Fourtrees. Glancing to see if anyone had noticed his absence, he quickly jumped onto the rock, looking like he had been there all along.

SnowFlower saw that Russet had just arrived and chuckled as he ran to the rocks, "Ivyfrost isn't here yet."she frowned as she looked around.

Sitting in the shadow of the rock she dipped her head as Rainstar and Russetstar made their way to the great rock. Her eyes were shining slightly the moonlight was bleak and the sun was finally giving its last good bye for now. A breeze stiffened her as she curled up under some low hanging branches.

As the sun went down, and the moon rose up, SnowFlower padded towards a wolf that was sitting in some branches, "Hi."she said to the wolf.

Rainstar bowed her head to Russetstar, "Good evening Russetstar." The black female was still in a rather very jolly mood. She looked below her, to the arriving wolves.

Russetstar dipped his head to the Clan Leader, flanks still heaving from his run to get here. "Evening," he replied gruffly, sitting down. He could spot a few WindClan members amongst the crowd of wolves, and he watched as the different wolves talked to each other.
The gathering should start soon - is Shadestar here?

Rainstar continued looking at the wolves gathered below. Something was different. She looked in each direction of the different clans. That was it, Shadowclan were not here yet. A confused look took over her face like a misty day. She wondered where they awere and why they wre late.

Moonpaw sat quietly, her tail quivering. Would Russetstar mention the new warrior and apprentices? She wished she could see, but was happy all the same.

Leaning across to Rainstar, Russetstar quickly muttered, "Do you know if anything's held ShadowClan up?" He stole a quick glance across the gathering, still unused to the small amount of wolves present.

Rainstar shook her head, "No I am not sure. Lets hope tey make it son though." Her glances to the clearing and shadowclan territory became more frequent, what could be happeing?

Shadepup observed the leaders talking at the rock.

Raising his eyebrows, Russetstar replied. "Okay...thanks." Sitting back down, he mused thoughtfully on what ShadowClan could be doing - Shadestar was usually punctual. Usually, that is.

Heatherpaw padded enthusiasticaly into the clearing. Her tail and head were help up proudly and her blue eyes shone like diamonds. I'm finnaly an apprentice! She glanced attentively around the area, taking in everything that her gaze flickered across. WindClan, ThunderClan, RiverClan...but no ShadowClan? The apprentice looked around the clearing again, though once again failed to locate any ShadowClan wolves, or even see Shadestar up on GreatRock. That's strange. She thought. Shadestar is usually one of the first wolves to arrive. I wonder what could be holding them up? Her whiskers quivered as she mused, and she swiftly lowered herself down into a more comfortable sitting position.

Swiftpaw sat in the clearing upright and quiet holding in the excitement of he's first gathering, he looked around seeing many wolves one in perticaler caught swiftpaws eye a brown she-wolf. That entered with the windclan, he watched for a few moments then got up and made he's way over to introduce himself.

Rainstar watched as her clan slowly began to grow below her. She smiled pushing Shadowclan to the back of her mind. Sitting up straight she kept an eye on her clan making sure they did as told, which really meant she didn't have to watch them but just in case.

Rainstar looked up from her 'watching'. Seh pondered it a while. "Well I don't see what could have happened. They have been rather quite though..." The young leader trailed off in thought. What if smething horrible had happened to shadowclan?

Swiftpaw looked around as he waited for the female to reply he could hear all the other wolves talking and discussing things about there back and how it was going, he never thought that a gathering was like this, as he looked around he saw other clans except from one clan that he had the scent fresh in he's mind. Where was shadow clan he asked himself.

Featherpaw glanced around the clearing, well, it wasn't really a clearing anymore with all the wolves hudeled together. Maybe i can find Hawkpool, or Lunapaw....or even Swiftpaw, she thought to herself, making her way through the crowded clearing.

Featherpaw looked around desperately, the huge, withering shapes around her seeming to swallow up the moonlight. She couldn't take it anymore. Dashing under legs and away from pounding paws, she finally made her way out of the hollow and over to where the slope outlining the clearing was. She collapsed beside it, panting hard. i never thought a gathering could be that frightning, she thought, anger flooding her fear. "Why do i have to be so small!" she spat, her claws scraping up turf and grass.

Lifting her head slowly she blinked a dipped her head to the fellow Windclan wolf. "Hello I'm Silverheart, and who may you be?" She said taking in the wolf's characteristics and trying to place it in her mind among all the other wolves she had met so far. She licked her paw and swiped it over her ears as a fly buzzed around. She noticed a small Thunderclan pup laying just a few feet away. Barking softly she flicked her tail.

Noticing she feel asleep she noticed already most of the wolves were already there she then got up and shook her pelt and yawned she then sat up and listened intently
