Fourtrees #6

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings. Also, there is a small opening in the rock with a space big enough for many small pups to fit into.

Emberpup glanced down into the clearing. "Wow," she breathed. The clearing was empty, the snowy ground untarnished by prints. The bare trees creaked overhead, and the russet and black pup praised her head. Bare branches of the four Giant Oaks that loomed over her head. She trotted down into the deserted clearing. She sank her claws into the ground, wondering what to do. Sighing, she glanced over her shoulder at the Great Rock. It streached out of the ground, reaching towards the sky. She padded over to it, sniffing along it's base. "Might as well wait for others to come," the pup thought aloud, sitting back against the rock.

Snowflower pads to the fourtrees. The trees stood tall as they always did. She looked around, waiting for at least one clan leader to arrive. "Only me and a ThunderClan pup...."she thought silently.

Tallfeather arrived in fourtrees shortly after Snowflower, having followed her out of camp. He was relieved they had finally reached another gathering; seeing the same faces day after day after day was getting extremely tiresome. Seeing that they were one of the first few to arrive, Tallfeather sat down near the base of one of the great oaks, waiting for others to arrive. His eyes were already trained in deep scrutiny as he waited for a familiar white pelt.

Slowly trotting towards the clearing,she saw through the brush. Two Windclan warriors,and a pup? She leapt out,and gracefully landed in the clearing. Glancing around,he yawned. Then padded up to the white warrior. "Hi,Windclan right?"

"Yes."she smiled. "Your from ThunderClan, am I right?"she asked happily. She saw Tallfeather nearby as he looked as if he was searching for someone. "What do you think this gathering is going to be about? Just another short chat?"she said to the fae. "Oh, and my name is Snowflower."

Nodding,she dismissed the distracted warrior. "I'm Hawkpool,nice to meet you Snowflower." She laid down. She shrugged. "I don't acually know. Speaking of chatting,how are things in Windclan?" She flicked her tail.

Coathonor looked about as her pelage wavered in the wintry weather. Her eyes were ice as they bore a cold hostility to the mutts around her, and her tail lay aggressively upright before she reclined to rest upon the soft grasses.
A huff left her jaws as she shrewdly eyed everyone else.

She smelled a mix of Riverclan and Shadowclan. Oh wait it's Stormclan now. She glanced at the wolf. The fae was somewhat glaring. She snarled,and glared back. But turned back to Snowflower.

"WindClan is running well. The further details will have to explained by our leader."she said. Snowflower didn't mention that Heatherfrost was the new leader. At least not yet. The other clans would have to find out later. She saw the stormclan warrior and growled back. "Some people can be quite rude..."she thought to herself. "How about ThunderClan?"she asked.

The wolf provoked an ireful response and she retorted sarcastically,"You're cute,"
She growled, then the thin female stretched and let out a yawn to symbolize her boredom with the unapt challenger who reeked of a derisory fierceness. Coathonor added, "I would suggest you mind your own business. Perhaps the glare might have not been meant for you. If you want to survive dog, you do not pick fights with strangers. Unless they bite you."

Walking in,he dropped his duck. He sat down and gazed over the clearing. He saw the fae that had been rude before. He snarled and glared at her. And kicked some rocks down towards her. But shrugged as if nothing happend. He saw Hawkpool,the white warrior. He grinned,and saw she had a blind eye. "I wonder what happened?

A smirk appeared and generously remained in place. "What are you, a reincarnation of a leader, or a kit hiding behind arrogance and plagued by naiveness?" Her lofty tail lashed about as she conceitedly yawned again before adding on, "It seems the latter. If you think I need to be 'taught' a lesson, how so then? Through words or battle? Why, you said there should be no arguments, after all. Might you magically pacify me through telepathy to teach me a lesson? What was it that you had in mind, dear?"

She noted that rocks had just been moving towards her, and a laugh escaped her lips.
"You have some very mature friends who clearly think like you, I see. They certainly follow the peace, don't they? Seems like I'm not the one you need to be talking to."

"What, you speak to everyone with that mouth I suppose."she said. "Yeah."she said to Hawkpool. "That's good to hear."she smiled. "It's true that Gatherings are meant for truce so let us not argue and just ignore the fae."she whispered.

Hearing the stupid fae,he snarled and his neck hair raised. How could she be so stupid? This is a gathering. She'll bring shame to all of us. He wanted to tear her ear off. Or maybe bit her neck so hard. He stopped there and sank his claws in the ground. Mouse-brain. He kept to himself,but still glared at her.

Tallfeather watched in some amusement as a Thunder and Stormclan wolf began to stir up conflict. As long as these idiots didn't get involved with him, Tallfeather didn't care what they did; in fact, he was rather enjoying them exchange insults and retorts. Shooting Snowflower a furtive glance and snorting back a laugh when she told the wolf on no uncertain terms that it had a big mouth, he settled down on his stomach and waited to see how this would play out. Clan rivalries always led to fine entertainment.

She chuckled,and shook her head. "Some wolves just don't know what their doing." She smelled something familar and turned. "Bluepup?" She then turned to Snowflower. "Very true." She flicked her tail. "It was nice to meet you,now it seems a friend of mine has arrived." She nodded towards Bluepup. Smiling as she did.

"My mouth speaks the truth, though it is alright, I understand some ears are too delicate to comprehend the truth," the female replied cooly as she lay in rest once more. Her eyes faltered little. "You all chose to listen. I did not make you. I think what may save you time in the future is if you wrap up those ears of yours. Wouldn't want you all to melt."

An insect drew itself towards her, and she smashed it with her digits, then smiled.
"Oops."

"Well, glad to see one wolf is enjoying this."she said amused. "Hello there."she said to Bluepup which was now Bluepaw. "It seems everyone dislikes her."she thought silently. "She acts like Ivyfrost just without the insults and everyone trying to befriend her."she thought.

Seeing Hawkpool recognize her,he nodded and picked his way down the hill. Passing Coathonor,and flicking his tail in her face. He chuckled as he did,and raced down. Arriving,he nodded to the two faes. "Hawkpool,and who are you?" He gazed at the other white warrior.

"I'm Snowflower."she said. "I'm guessing your Bluepup because Hawkpool just mentioned your name."she said. "You look 6 moons old now.... Are you perhaps BluePAW now?"she asked. "If so, who's your mentor?"she asked.

Arriving, the warrior saw mostly WindClan wolves and some of Thunderclan and Stormclan. So no Sunclan just yet. Well okay. He could wait. Padding over near a bush, Fangclaw wandered his turquoise eyes around the place, scanning it. Everything was different when there was layers of snow, but then again, everywhere was different with snow over top. 'Stoatpaw... Ripplepaw...' He thought as each heartbeat passed. Of course, they would be named warriors already, but its not like he knew what their names were now.

The slightest bit disappointing that the conflict had ended, Tallfeather rose to his paws and ambled over to the group that had gathered. He sat down in the group, nodding his head to each wolf in turn in greeting. He didn't know any of them except for SNowflower, but listened as they exchanged news and greetings. Occasionally he would twist his head over his shoulder, still searching for SKyfeahter.

She nodded. "Warrior of windclan." She added. And chuckled as Bluepup flicked his tail in that warrior's face. "So how is everything,Bluepup?" She heard Snowflower and blushed. "Oops,so then how's training?"
