ThunderClan Camp

Subject: ThunderClan Camp Sat Nov 03, 2012 7:43 pm

First topic message reminder :

The camp entrance is well hidden by brambles, which protect the camp from predators, but doesn't stop sunshine from coming in. A ravine leads through it. This ravine was once a river, but it is now dried up. The way into the camp is through the gorse tunnel. The nursery has thick bramble walls and is the most guarded part of the camp. Behind a tree stump, there is a clump of ferns where the apprentices sleep. Warriors sleep under a bush in another tunnel. Inside the camp, there is a fallen tree where the elders sleep, and the senior warriors sleep in the center of the camp. Across the clearing, a smooth tall rock resides. This is called the Highrock, and the leader stands there to make important speeches.The leader's den is in a cave in the rock which was carved out by an ancient stream. Lichen covers the entrance.The last notable feature in the camp is a fern tunnel that leads to a crack in a rock. This is the medicine wolf's den.

shock showed on phoenixfires face, stormclan? sunclan? he turned his head and licked the back of rainstars head. his tail flicked with impatience, now he really wanted to know what had happened at the gathering. swiveling his ears around he sighed.

Rainstar nodded, "Oh yes it is a shame. Come Phoenix we must prepare our defeat." The leader began to pad away to her den. She went inside and smiled once inside. She was having fun.

Phoenix dipped his head and turned following rainstar, flicking his tail he entered the den and sat down facing her questions falling from his lips "whats stormclan and sunclan? what happened to shadowclan?" his orange eyes glittered with worry. shifing his paws anxiously on the ground of the den he watched his leader and love with an intense gaze.

Firepup followed Phoenixfire in. "Rainstar, ThunderClan is not weak! Just because we're not ready, there's no reason to give up." Firepup's eyes blazed. "Shadestar is not to be trusted, I think." She tapped her chest. "There's something special in here. Something which makes each of us unique. I believe in myself and in us too." Firepup's eyes blazed. "And until I stop believing in myself, there are still things worth fighting and dying for."

Rainstar turned and looked at Firepup. She smiled, "Oh Firepup I was only kidding. I will never join Stormclan. As long as Starclan grnats me life I can assure I will do the best for my clan, besides you are ready. Go get ready we do the ceremony now." She looked at Phoenixfire, "Later." She licked his nose and walked outside the chain rattling slightly.

Firepup smiled. Then she followed Rainstar outside. "Falcon! Mossey! Ice! It's time." The firey pup looked at Rainstar solemnly.

Luna perked her ears as she saw rainstar, getting up she hobbled over then sat near the high rock. her brown eyes were gentle as well as greatly tired. the young warrior had dealt with many set backs to her. yet she still carried her head high and sat calmly and proudly.

Rainstar hopped onto the highrock her chain rattling. She sat and smiled. "Let all wolves gather here beneath the highrock for a clan meeting!" The leader called out the familiar words and smiled. It had been such a long day, it was already getting dark.

Luna smiled and stared up at rainstar, under her breath she began to murmur a song

finishing the short verse the warrior fell silent and continued watchin rainstar, she glanced around and smiled seeing the excitement of all of the pups. a hope burned in her chest for her to be gifted with an apprentice.

The firey pup ran over to the Highrock, tail shivering with excitement. She sat down by Lunaecilpse. Firepup heard her singing a strange song and after hesitating, joined in. [i]No matter how many lives that I live I will never regret."

Icepup nodded sadly. Her eyes calm as she padded into the nursery. She wasn't sure where her sister went. But she missed her anyway. Icepup drifted to sleep calmly.

Falconpup turned and heard Rainstar's call. The pup's eyes brightened. He ran into the nursery and nudged Icepup softly. "C'mon Ice we're going to be made apprentices." He wagged his tail happily.

Wind went and join the other wolves. He was getting to like the clan more and more, They were warriors. Just like himself. Wind sat at the back of the crowd, unsure what was going to happen next. From the mood, he could tell it was something bad, but he didn't ask what, it wasn't his way. He smiled at Firepup as he bounded intothe clearing. He'd like to get to know that pup better.

Falconpup ran out of the nursery into the clearing and crashed into Wind. "Oops sorry." The pup walked away and sat at the foot of the highrock. His tail wagged rapidly, he was so excited. He gave a happy yip before settling next to luna.

Luna glanced at Firepup and smiled a little "you know that howl as well?" the fae had always called songs howls for some reason. her brown eyes were gentle and kind as she watched the excited pups bounce up and down waiting to be apprenticed. flicking her tail she yawned a little then closed her eyes.

"Yes, I heard it in my dreams. It's a wonderful song." Turning her head, Firepup saw Wind smile at her as he came to sit with them so she smiled back. The firey pup was happy with her friends.

Wind swished his tail and butted Falconpaw's side with his head, in a friendly manner. "No worries." he glanced around, "So what's going on now?" he asked, unused to being around so many wolves at once.

We're just waiting for Rain Star's orders. *Scratch looked at the new wolf. He remembered how nervous he had felt when he joined the pack.* Are you nervous at all?

Swiftstreak was about to leave camp to train by himself but then rainstar called all the wolves to the highrock in the middle of the camp. Swiftstreak gently walked over sitting far from the rest the black muscular young male, sat down waiting to the announcement to finish so he could train alone. He shot a cold glare at Phoenix, he then looked around to see the rest of the wolves.

Brightpaw heard Rainstar's howl and, after stretching, padded out from the den. She shook her fur and scanned the area, seeing who was already present. She padded forward and spotted Swiftstreak. She moved a bit closer to him and sat down. After a moment, she looked at Swift and smiled in a friendly way, offering him a nod in greeting before settling her gaze back onto Rain. She didn't care for being so far away from the others and so close to Swift but she wanted to try and restore some peace between them. She sat about a wolflength from him, in case he wanted to be alone, yet close enough that if he wanted, he could move closer to the rest of his clan without moving so close to them.

Swiftstreak watched brightpaw from the corner of he's eye. He saw her sit a little closer to him. But swiftstreak sat where he was, with he's bright blue eyes he licked hes cut paw and waited.

I run up to firepup and say,"Is she really going to make us apprentices?" I fidget with excitement. I looked around and saw Falcon looking at me.

Firepup said, "Yes, she is." Her firey pelt gleamed in the light so that it really did look like fire. "We just have to wait for her to begin." She sighed and looked at her sister.

"When is it going to start?" I think what if he doesn't make a an apprentice? Then I cheer up when I see Rainstar.

The firey pup gave her sister a smile. Her tail curled around Mosseypup's tail in a sign of love. Then she stared at Rainstar. "What is she doing?"
