StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Looking up at Bluepaw she nodded and smiled "I am doing very well, thank you," she barked softly. Observing the pup she smiled and nodded at her mate. "Tornadopup it is," she whispered and leaned inwards licking the small pup. They were all bound to be great warriors and they had a bright future. Looking down at the pups she murmured their names to herself. She will soon be able to call them by their name and watch as they answer to it with pride.

Fangclaw became slightly confused as Ravensky ran out of the den all mad and upset, and with Shadestar howling to join them. The warrior thought it was best for her to go wherever, and so he'll talk to her later. But for now, the warrior ran towards the howling, and sat himself down, probably awaiting for the ceremonies to begin. But then what caught his eye was Magmafeather, and Fangclaw sighed. Standing up, the warrior then made his own way to sit close to the ex-RiverClan warrior, and waited for the announcements to really begin.

Snowstorm looked down at the only pup left unnamed. He then looked at the entrance to the nursery as the leaders called for a clan meeting. "I can listen to the meeting from here," he said, looking back at Silverheart. He listened, waiting for the meeting to start and wondering what it would be about. There were probably some ceremonies to be performed. And he thought that maybe it would have something to do with rats, because he smelled them, along with blood.

Creekpaw nodded, and yipped warmly, "Yea, Silverstone is cool. Hey, do you think Silentwhisper and whoever your mentor is would let us train together?" He bowed, tongue lolling out of the side of his jaws and his tail wagging playfully. He sat up, however, when a summoning howl echoed through out the camp. The large gray male, glanced down at Sparrowpup, Sparrowpaw in a few moments, his amber eyes glowing warmly. "Looks like its time for your ceremony!" he barked, trotting over to sit down in front of the Highrock.

Sparrowpup grinned with an eager nod. She ran up and sat by the base of the rock. Her eyes lit up with excitement. Was this really her apprentice ceremony?

As Luna was sitting she heard her leader's howl. She got up and shook the snow off her fur. She then walked to the rock and sat near it. She raise her head and looked at Shadestar. It seemed he had things to announce. The apprentice percked ears up and waited with excitment.

Hearing Shadestar call for a meeting,he opened his eyes. Flicking his ears he stood up and streched. Yawning,he noticed the cold breath and chill running through his bones. He snorted,then walked outside. He noticed Luna was awake. He blinked,and went by to the shadow of the (whatever we make announces on). He then sat down and flicked his tail. Noticing Luna,he made his way over to her,and sat down.

Luna smiled brightly when she saw Blue. He got near her and sat down. The apprentice wagged her tail as she spoke quietly, only Blue could hear her. "How are you? I hope everything is alright after Ravensky treated you." Luna looked at Bluepaw's eyes with her silver gray one. She was really worried back then. Bluepaw was really close to her. She looked at him as a really good friend sometimes even more.

Silentwhisper stared at Ravensky. "What's wrong with her?" He growled. "So rude for Starclans sake! You are so moody all the tine!" He watched her leave. He listened to Shadestar as he called out to the clan that there was a meeting. Ravensky really pushes his limits now. When they were pups they were best of friends but now she really annoyed him. He remembered the day they found a secret hideout in a tree. He sighed at the thought.

Creekpaw padded over to the base of the Highrock, sitting down beside Sparrowpup. His sleek gray tail thumped against the ground eagerly. He leaned over, his mussel barely brushing against her gray-and-brown ear. "Good luck," he whispered, smiling warmly at his friend. But, she didn't feel like she was a friend, like she was...something more.

Smiling,he flicked his ears. "Yeah,I'm fine." Whispering,he glanced at his now glossy fur. Since he cleaned it earlier. He then took a deep breath. "Do you think we'll become warriors now? I hope so." He whispered,and then flicked his tail.

Shadestar stood on the rock, watching the rest of StormClan assemble before him. He had noticed Ravensky storm out of camp, but there was nothing he could do about it now. Lately she had not been as easy-going as in the past. Maybe it was the stress or just the maturity forced upon her at a young age, but in any case it wasn't pleasant.

The leader took a deep breath and then began to speak. "Fangclaw, Bluepaw, and Sparrowpup please step forward," he said. "First we will begin with ceremonies, and then I have a couple of announcements to make." Then his gaze returned back to the three wolves before him. "Bluepaw," Shadestar began, "I, Shadestar, co-leader of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Bluepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Creekpaw's amber eyes glinted. His tail thumped against the ground, eagerness making his large gray body swell. He couldn't wait to show Sparrowpup - soon to be Sparrowpaw - around the territory.

The sleek male's thoughts wandered to what Bluepaw's warrior name would be. Bluefeather, Bluetail, Bluejay... He ran through a list of names in his head, but couldn't find one that seemed to fit the wolf's personality. Shrugging it off, he focused back on the meeting.

Blue said he is fine. That made the apprentice feel better. Then her friend mentioned that he hopes to become warrior now. Luna knew that Blue will but she would stay apprentice for some period of time.
The ceremonies began. Shadestar began talking and the first name he mentioned was Bluepaw's. He was turning into warrior. She looked at Blue with awe. His efforts were finally appreciated.

She nodded and flicked her ears forward hearing the shuffling and murmurs from outside of the nursery. Smiling she wondered what kind of ceremony would be preformed. Shrugging she leaned closer to Snowstorm and nuzzled him gently. Letting ice blue and chocolate brown stare focus on the last nameless pup. Looking up to her mate she sighed and studied the pup closely.

Hearing his name,he turned and clicked his ears. He then stood up,and padded forward. Excitement glimmered in his eyes. What will my name be? Hmm,Blueheart? Bluepelt? No,they sound weird. He frowned,and looked up at the two leaders.

"Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Bluepaw, from this moment you will be known as Bluestorm. StarClan honors your bravery and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full member of StormClan." Shadestar then leaped off of the rock and went over to the newly-named warrior. He put his head on top of Bluestorm's and then nodded to him, signifying that he could now go stand next to the other warriors of the Clan. The leader then looked to Graystar and walked over to her. "Would you like to do the apprentice ceremony?" he asked.

Luna glanced at Shadestar. He announced Blue's new name then leaped off of the rock and went over to the newly-named warrior - Bluestorm. Luna smiled as she wagged her tail still sitting put and waiting for Blue to come over here so she can congratulate him. It was amazing seeing her friend finally becoming a warrior. That reminded her that she has to work hard to become one.

Ravensky padded back into camp with a bulging medicine bag. her blue eyes stared around calmly, she had hidden all of her emotions away again. she flicked her ears and chanted. "sparrowpaw! bluestorm! sparrowpaw bluestorm!". The medicine wolf then turned and padded into the medicine den. she checked on kiwipup and shook her head worriedly. she got some more of the catmint and placed it beside kiwipup "here you have to eat this"

His eyes wide with admiration,he blinked and grinned. Hmm,nice choice Shadestar. He then winked at Luna,then stepped back. He then sat down flicking his tail. He smiled,and then looked at Fangclaw and Sparrowpup. Hmm,i bet she will become a apprentice. He then glanced at Luna,he quietly made his way over to her. He then slightly nudged her.

Sparrowpup, now Sparrowpup grinned as she stood by her mentor. A fierce determination in her eyes as she gazed around. She was going to be the best apprentice ever! She could hang out with her new friends. Especially Creekpaw, he seemed super nice. But that wasn't all about him. There was something else.

Fangclaw watched as Bluepaw became Bluestorm. Smiling and cheering along, he was confused as to why he was called, until he realized that he was going to be mentoring Sparrowpaw. Cheering along her name as well, the warrior's eyes gleamed of excitement, happy to pass along the knowledge that was shared to him from Silverheart, and pass it on to an apprentice. Once the meeting began to slowly disperse, Fangclaw padded over to Sparrowpaw and smiled. "Pleasure to be your mentor." He said with a lopsided grin. "If you want, I can give you a tour of the territory."

Shadestar watched as Graystar passed him. She jumped onto the rock and performed the apprentice ceremony. "Sparrowpaw, Sparrowpaw," he chanted after it was over. The Clan was becoming stronger now, he knew it. The leader had no regrets in combining the two Clans; he was sure that otherwise ShadowClan would not last. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw Ravensky return to camp with herbs in her jaws. He said nothing to her and instead focused his attentions elsewhere. "StormClan," he began to say, not bothering to stand on the rock. "Only experienced warriors may go to the ShadowClan camp. It is said that many aggressive rats have infested the place and are traveling in groups in the forests. All patrols should contain at least four wolves, two of those being warriors. Same with hunting parties. If any more rats are sighted, please return to camp immediately and inform Graystar and myself. Thank you."
