Firespell padded into the sandy hollow and sat down, waiting for Streakpaw. She smiled, the pup was keen to be a warrior and to prove herself to the firey deputy. The firey female's pelt glowed like fire as she shook it. Firespell smiled this was where Luna had trained her and Falconpaw. So many memories.

Firespell met Streakpaw's inquiring gaze with her mischievious smile. "That's fine," she said. I think you'll rather like this next trick. In this move, you grip your enemy's shoulders and then locking them against the ground. You can do anything when you've done this but watch out for the roll-over move. This move takes strength and agility to do but I think you'll manage", she said, eying Streakpaw's size." She stepped back. The main thing you have to remember about this trick, is to be strong and don't hesitate when you're doing it."

Streakpaw jumps on her mentor powerfully. She grips firmly. And her agility was fast. "Like that?" she asks.

"Yes", murmured Firespell, getting up and stretching: her muscles rippling. "Now, before we do anything more, I want you to practise your fighting skills by fighting me." She smiled boldly at her apprentice. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you and try not to hurt me either, ok?" The firey wolf flew as quick as lightning onto Streakpaw.

"OK." Streakpaw rolls over and back kicks her. She runs towards a tree and does her own move. She jumps at the tree, does a backflip like thing and lands on Firespell. <---(i will remove that if it is powerplaying of doesn't like my move ^^)

She was a bit winded from the back-kick but managed to avoid by ducking and twisting aside. Firespell feeling the weight on her back rolled over. The firey wolf circled Streakpaw and then dived forward. She managed to grip her shoulders and slamming her apprentice to the ground, not too hardly.

Streakpaw kicks her with her hind legs. She jumps up and lands on her. She jumps off. She rolls under her to rake her claws under her belly.

Firespell winced and rolled aside. She smiled and tripped Streakpaw over by her paw. You don't get by me so easy. The firey wolf grabbed her apprentice by the scruff and start to shake her up and down.

Streakpaw breaks free. She swipes her across the face and jumps on her. "How was that for a girls hit!" She says hoping to not be answered.

Firespell leapt up, thrusting Streakpaw off with all four paws. "Pretty good", she said. "Another move?" she asked curiously. "You're turning out well, Streakpaw."

Yes, yes i do. Streakpaw lashes out at Firespell. She pins her down. She smirks.

"I am still your mentor, though." Firespell smiled as she rolled free of Streakpaw's grip. As fast as a striking snake, she whirled around and pinned Streakpaw down. "I'm going to teach you another trick", she said calmly. This is a fight-finishing move. You can spring on your enemy's back and grip with your claws." The firey wolf demonstrated this by doing it to her apprentice, but gently. This leaves you the chance to inflect serious damage to him/her", she whispered into Streakpaw's ears. "The opponent's paws can't reach you up there."

Streakpaw smiles and whirls around. She gets firespell off and she does it on firespell. "Like that?" She looks down at her.

"Exactly like that!" The firey wolf was pleased, her apprentice was picking up things quickly. She's talented, she'll make a fine warrior, thought Firespell. She stretched and then sat up, casting off Streakpaw. "Well done. A good thing to remember is that you won't also be on top of the situation, like you were just now. A time will probably come when you'll find yourself in a tight situation in battle. And you'll need this trick. Go limp, completely limp until your enemy loosens his grip. If he doesn't then well ... improvise."

Streakpaw looks curiously at Firespell. "What do you mean improvise?" Her head tilts. She blinks.

"Make up fighting moves. We all have moments when every thought goes out of our heads and we panic. But back to the fighting move." Firespell narrowed her eyes. "Go on, play dead for me and then I'll tell you what I think."

Streakpaw nods and drops down dead. She goes limp. She holds her breath.

"That's fine", Firespell moved around the still Streakpaw. "Now, you do this and then you attack when your enemy is least expecting it." She pounced onto her apprentice and held her down. "Do it, surprise me", she whispered.

Streakpaw Gets pinned. She goes limp and holds her breath. Like this?She thinks.

Firespell thought, Good, now for the next part. "Do a surprise attack. Catch me unawares." The firey wolf waited for her apprentice to respond.

Streakpaw finally breaths. She kicks back and pins Firespell down. "Like that?"

Firespell staggered and was pinned to the ground. "Yes, that was alright." She grinned and stood up stiffly. She smiled, "would you like to take a rest for a minute, Streakpaw?"

"Yes." Streakpaw yawns. "The battle was fun, though."

"Yes, let's call that a battle. Your first fight." Firespell sat down next to Streakpaw and flicked her tail. "You've been a really good learner, you know."

"Yes, I have." Streakpaw smiles at Firespell. "It was my first fight." I've learned a lot today."

"Well, I'm pleased with you, that's one thing for sure." The firey female smiled. "Do you want to do anything else with fighting or not?" The snow had almost turned her into a white wolf by now.
