First topic message reminder :

*Scratch was torn. On one hand, he wanted to tell Wind about his past.* On the other hand, he wasn't sure Wind would understand what he'd been through. After pondering the matter for a while, he decided he'd tell Wind about his history.*

Copperpup charged out of the nursery and leapt he bellyflopped, into the dust and spun. his little prosterior facing firestar as he got up. and said to Shadowpup his bestest friend "come on we are gonna be the best apprentices ever! imma become deputy one day!". he grinned at shadowpup and wagged his slip of a tail.

Rainwhisper nodded in slight agreement. "I'd put myself through negatives as well..." She was about to continue talking. Talking always made her feel good. But the female froze. Her ears flattened. "What?"And yet his words echoed in her head.as i would put myself through the negatives to make sure you had the positives She laughed at herself inside her head. How silly she was to even think for a moment the brute had said that at another level, a more personal level. She seemed to unfreeze and she blinked. Of course he had, why would he say anything else?

Nightowl closed his eyes and yawned again. he shoved his face into the moss and rolled onto his side. his body seemed to relax as he allowed himself to fall into the relaxation mode of sleep. his black fur waved a little in the slight breeze. His normally calm and unreadable face seemed to soften almost into a pup like fashion. his tail tucked itself under neath him and he gavea soft protective whine in his sleep.

The firey wolf let Nightowl talk to Rainwhisper and grinned at the two pups. "You're welcome, Shadowpup. You might be, Copperpup if you try hard at your training and in life." Firestar laughed and looked at both the pups . She nodded to Rainwhisper's remark. "Yes, apprentices: Foxpup, Shadowpup and Copperpup." Her amber gaze glowed. We go through danger to get the gifts. She lay down beside the pups.

Copperpup asked "when will we become apprentices? now now now?" he wagged his copper slip of a tail and grinned up at his fiery leader. he wanted to be an apprentice noooowwww. he didnt want to wait! there was too much to miss out on if he did wait.

"i cant wait im going to be the fastest one in the clan, watch," she said to Copperpup. " hey Copperpup lets have a contest to see who can catch the most prey when we become paws, how bout i?"

Copperpup beamed "challenge accepted! maybe our mentors will let us train together!". He grinned at his friend and lightly batted at her muzzle with a large paw. he was rapidly growing every day a couple of milimeters bigger or buffer. he grinned at his friend.

Foxpup bounced up and grinned, she paused then said "hey you two, im a friend as well right?". she worried that noone wanted to be her friend. she worried that she wasnt good enough. essentially she was a big worry wart. she liked being a pup though because it meant that the otherpups wouldnt hurt her feelings.

(Meh, I guess its morning now.)

Feathersoul opened her eyes, her jaws split in a large yawn. She stood, her lids still half-closed as she wobbled over to the camp entrance. She paused, rotating her ears to the back and picking up several snippits of info. Shadowpaw, Foxpaw and Copperpaw. Has a nice ring to it. Feeling quite chilly, she padded out of camp, heading towards Sunningrocks to warm up and maybe catch a small raccoon or two.

Rainwhisper watched the pups and lied down, her mind a jumbled labyrinth. She grumbled and put her head on her paws. She smiled at the pups, entertained with their talk and such. She sighed, the cold snow, comforting. silly... She opened her eyes before closing them again, thinking.

Copperpup said to Foxpup "of course you are! we are three best friends of course!". he grinned and lightly slammed his rump into foxpups shoulder. his own blue eyes had faded into a peircing brown. he wagged his tail and ran around a blurr of coppery fur.

Firestar nodded, her eyes looking keenly at the pups. The firey wolf nudged the spinning pup with her paws. "Round and round, you three remind me of myself and two of my friends when we were pups", laughed the leader. "I, Icefrost and Falconpaw did that too." She got up and passed the fresh-kill pile to grab a rabbit before heading to sit by the Clanrock. Firestar finished the rabbit off and then smiled at Copperpup. "Alright now, then." She sprang onto the rock and howled out. All wolves, old enough to catch their own prey, please gather under the Clanrock for a meeting."

"Of course she said to Foxpup." Shadowpup nipped Copperpups shoulder, and placed her tail on Foxpup's flank. " hey, you guys lets always be friends no matter what," she said to her denmates. " hey look Firestar is calling the clan together, i think we are about to be made apprentices."

Rainwhisper perked her ears at Firestar's call. She smiled and opened her eyes and rather lazily stood up and sauntered over to the clanrock. She lied down on her side and watched the firey leader atop the rock. She smiled and looked around, quite a few pups ready. Well it seems like she has quite a few naming ceremonies to perform." Shewhispered to herself as she yawned slightly, still rather sleepy. All thoughts of what Nightowl had said were pushed to the back of her mind. She just watched and waited a few doubts crossing her mind. Wonder who will get the apprentices. She looked around, and noticed she didn't see Feathersoul. Hmm she must have gone out... I might as well go get her. She stood up and padded out of the camp quickly in search of her friend. She would be back soon. Her tail like a flag behind her she ran out.

Copperpup sat up and perked his ears, trembling with excitement, he glanced over at his sleepign brother and gave a rather loud yip at him to wake him up. he smirked as Nightowl lifted his head and yawned. Nightowl padded out and sat down. he began grooming copperpup "you have to look good for the clan silly" he said scoldingly.

Shadowpup got up and glanced at Nightowl grooming Copperpup. She walked over to where Rainwhisper was laying down to wait to finally be an apprentice. " hi Rainwhisper, can you believe it, im finally going to be an apprentice." i hope i get Nightowl, she thought to herself.

Mosseybreeze heard that they would be apprentices. She thought to herself where is Adderpaw? Mossey tried not to think about that non-clan born dog. She was evil adderpaw.

Nightowl stood up and stretched, he left copperpup to sit there with a wink then walked over to sit by the great rock. he knew that he would probbaly be named a mentor so why not sit next to the cool rock. his eyes glittered with pride in his younger brother. he smiled kindly.

Feathersoul padded into camp, feeling fresh and perky. She pushed through the crowd, reaching the front of the clearing. She sat in her usual spot, in the front, a little to the right of the center. She sat up straight, her tail coiled around her fluffy black paws, her chin pointed upward at the Highrock.

Wind grinned at the pups, playfully nipping at the pup's scruff. He looked up at his beautiful mate, a soft smile touching his muzzle. He would have to wait till the seramony ends. He was happy for the pups and wondered who would be their mentor. He grinned as he remembered the day Emberpaw became his student.

The firey leader smiled at Wind and the pups. Firestar saw Feathersoul come into camp and sit by the rock along with Nightowl and the three pups. They're so excited, she thought, looking at the pups. I'm happy for them. She smiled. I hope they like the mentors that I have picked out. Feathersoul was looking alert and ready for the ceremonies. Nightowl was sitting right beside the Clanrock, she could tell that he was feeling proud of his younger brother of becming an apprentice by his eyes. The firey female straightened up and spoke. Copperpup, Foxpup, Shadowpup, step forward."

Feathersoul's tail thumped against the earth. She cast a glance over at Foxpup, Shadowpup, and Copperpup, seeing the excitement on their faces. She smiled. I remember when I became an apprentice...
