SunClan Camp

She yipped with excitement before looking back at the nursery, her blue eyes blinked with sadness as she watched the little family. Shaking her head the pup began walking still rather unsteady she persevered and soon her wobbling steps became confident and strong. Grinning with small pride at herself that quickly faltered she kicked her back legs out into a trot, nearly tripping over her paws she gritted her tiny teeth. Kicking up to another speed she finally managed to get into a run.
#The river

Mosspup woke up hearing a yell. "Nightpup? Nightpup!" She ran outside looking for nightpup. She saw Tigerfern crying. She ran over to her. Thunderfang was dead.

Swiftstorm walked into camp. Not Thunderfang. He ran over to the warrior. "Tigerfern every thing is going to be ok. He looks like he died in peace."

Gentleheart raced over to the Medicine den when she heard Tigerfern's scream. she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the dead body of Thunderfang. she couldnt believe it.

Scarletpaw padded into camp blissfully unaware of the events that had just taken place. Only when Tigerfern's cry rattled through the camp did she perk her ears and race over to the medicine den. "What's happeni-" she barked but cut herself short as she saw Thunderfang's dead body lying on the ground. "No! No this can't be happening!" she cried as she ran over to her mentor and buried her head in his fur. But he was only recently made a warrior! How could StarClan take I'm now?, she cried silently and sobbed. She'd grown to care for her mentor and his loss had shaken her. She couldn't imagine how Tigerfern felt.

Tigerferns heart felt like it was shattering, she trembled unstoppably. tears running down her face, she looked at scarletpaw and said shakily "ill mentor you now Scarlet". She looked around for a medicine wolf, they hadnt saved hiim! they hadnt saved the one who made her feel ok, the one who had made her come out of her shell. she felt herself drawing back into her angry agressive shell.

Bramblepup returned to camp, her tail stuck out behind her, she saw the pup from before awake and smiled. she trotted over to her and said "heya! im Bramblepup!" her voice was sweet and caring. she looked at the pup named mosspup she wanted to be friends with the mottled fur she. The multicoloured female waited for the other pups reply.

Mosspup was startled. She wiped around. "I am um um Mosspup." She sat back. She was worried about very thing.

Scarletpaw dipped her head to Tigerfern as the female offered to mentor her. "Thunderfang will always be remembered." She mumbled sadly before shuffling over to Tigerfern to encourage the shaken warrior. She could see Tigerfern was shaking uncontrollably and looked around for the medicine wolf. Where is the medicine wolf?, she thought irritably. Thunderfang might still be alive if they'd have been here! Scarletpaw sighed and offered Tigerfern her shoulder to lean on if she wanted to to calm down.

Tigerfern lowered her head and gently nudged Scarletpaw, her heart thudding uncontrollably. she lifted her head letting rip a mournful howl. she had known Thunderfang for her entire life and now he was gone. Gone forever. she whipped around and snarled "where is the so called medicine wolf? if they'd been here then Thunderfang still would be with us with me!" her voice was filled with an angry venom.

Scarletpaw pinned her ears back cautiously as Tigerfern began to shout. She too was angry that no medicine wolf had been there to help but she didn't feel the need to shout it out like Tigerfern did. "He's gone now Tigerfern. I'm sure he loved you lots and will always watch over you." Scarletpaw said trying to encourage her though her voice broke a little as she swallowed back the tears. There was nothing else they could do.

Fernshade heard am ear-slitting scream. She growled and peeked one eyes out. She pinned the ears to her head. A crowd was gathering at the medicine den. "Ou Starclan you've got to be kidding." She glanced at Tigerfern. She muttered curses to Starclan under her breath as she padde over to her adopted sister. She curled up around her,then licked her ear. She shushed slowly and peacefully. "Its ok,it's ok. He will watch over you. And he would like you to continue in." She sighed. "I know we can't replace him,but thats the way of life around here."

Snowpaw heard a scream,and the scent of death filled her nose. She screamed and dashed out of camp. Tears flying behind her. She muttered curses and cried under her breath.

[I am scared to bring in Fawnpaw omg]

Fawnpaw padded through the entrance of SunClan camp, her jaws full with older leaves of burnet and yarrow. Her paws were dragging slightly and her eyelids felt heavy but she kept moving forward. The noise of the Clan was a blur in the background of her mind and she trudged forward. Tumbling into her den, Fawnpaw went straight to the back supplies to organize the new herbs. Carefully placing them in their slots, the she-wolf padded into out of the space and back into the main den. A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she lazily licked her paw. All of her senses were blocked by lack of sleep and worry going down her back. She had yet to speak to Ripplestar about her going to Moonstone to retrieve her Medicine Wolf name and just the thought of getting it made her anxious. Was she really ready for it?

Tigerfern saw Fawnpaw and stalked over to her yelling "you werent here to save Thunderfang! yet another dead body in Sunclan that you wolves seem to be able to do nothing about!". her fur was spiked along her neck. Tigerfern was in a rage that Fawnpaw had done absoluetly nothign!

Fawnpaw's head snapped up at the sound of yelling, her fur standing on end. Noticing the dark brown warrior's words directed at her, the fae got up. With wide eyes, she looked around her den, her senses kicking in full force. The scent of stale blood and a cold body hit her. The she-wolf padded over to Thunderfang's limp body. Her heart broke and her ears dropped sadly. She'd failed her Clan before even becoming a true Medicine Wolf! How was she supposed to be there for them when she wasn't there for Thunderfang?

Tigerfern glared at Fawnpaw with distrust and loathing, her cream and light brown fur ruffled and unsettled. she had lost the only one who had ever loved her. her mother and sisters hadnt loved her. Shadowstorm didnt love her as he had left her as well. she was utterly alone, she turned stalking out of the medicine den and throwing herself into her nest.

Fernshade glanced at her last apprentice,she then turned to Tigerfern. "Hey! Tigerfern,snap out of it! Starclan wanted this to happen,its not her fault." She stood between them. "I know how it feels to lose others. I know it hurts,but you have to let go."
She watched as she stalked away. Fernshade cringed and glared at the ground. She was still and rigid.

Fernshade unsheathed her claws. "Tigerfern's probably going to kill herself." She growled and sat down. She let her own claws sink into her flesh,not caring if she bled. "Thunderfang's dead,and shes blaming it in Fawnpaw." She narrowed her eyes and sunk her claws deeper. "And now,I can't even do a thing about it."

Ripplestar walked into camp, her ears twitching at the arguements and such. she sat down mulling over her thoughts. The two wolves that she trusted at the moment were Fernshade, Stoatblaze, Scarletpaw and Swiftstorm. Swiftstorm was a young warrior he hadn't had much experience. Her own eyes were drawn to Scarletpaw.

Fern shade heard foot-steps. She raised her head,and noticed Ripplestar. She dipped her head and unsheathed her claws. She easily stood up and padded to the entrance of the camp. He black legs staining the ground with blood.

Fernshade heard Pinedusk,and she flicked her ears,acknowledging it. She heard him pad away. She sighed and sat up. She gazed out into the mountain. She growled and narrowed her eyes. "Why live? If this world crumbles away. I mean Starclan kills us all anyways."
