Redpup noticed more pups was up in the nursery. He flopped his ears down and sighed. What a drag. He then padded back t the tree he was at earlier. He gazed up it,then launched himself up. He quickly propelled himself up a branch and sat down.

Lightpaw listened carefully to Twistedfoots description of the next herbs. The apprentice blinked trying to memorize these herbs. But as her mentor asked her a question her blue flecked ears perked up. The brown apprentice tilted her head curosity gleaming in her gray eyes.
"Nope." Lightpaw answered looking up at her mentor.

Lightpaw's eyes went wide as Twistedfoot described the dreaded berries.
"Those berries sound terrible!" The brown apprentice said still shocked at the description. She wondered how something as small as a berry could be so deadly.

Lightpaw nodded at Twistedfoot's next words. But sighed as she described foxglove seeds. She wondered why so many plants were poisonous. She decided she would ask Twistedfoot to see if she knew the answer.
"Why are so many plants harmful?" Lightpaw asked her mentor, she was slightly confused as to why plants, of all things, were poisonous sometimes.

 Her ears twitched and the crust lining her sealed eyes prevented her from opening her eyes. Finally building the strength she opened her eyes and blinked several times as soon as her eyes were exposed to the light. Yawning silently she let her multicolored eyes wander around. The cold snow had vanished and replaced with beautiful and bloomed scenery. Through her strange and long slumber she didn't really remember much. Just knowing enough to comprehend and understand everything. Small events were all a blur to her now. Trying to stand she slumped back down and found her legs to be stiffened and numb with the lack of activity lately. Noting her crusted silvery white coat when she observed her conditions. Silverheart had let herself go after having the pups. It was time for her to make a return.

Opalwing returned with the collapsed apprentice in her jaws, she walked swiftly over to the medicine den being careful not to let the apprentice bump her legs. she gently lay the apprentice down then cried "Twistedfoot! Swiftpaws been injured! i dont know what from though, i thought perhaps a badger but there was no badger scent around her!" Her normally pristine white pelt was encrusted with mud from her rescue mission.

Snowstorm nodded to Icepup when the pup asked if he had been in one of those clans once. "Yep, I've been around for a while now." He replied. "I'm getting pretty old." He winked at his pup, then continued, "I wasn't born in RiverClan, but I was raised there. I wasn't a member of the clan for only a single moon. And I was in that clan long enough to become a warrior before StormClan was created. Same as your mother, Silverheart." The deputy pointed with his large muzzle toward his mate, whom was just waking up from a deep sleep. He heard Silktuft ask one of the pups if he wanted her to take care of him, and he agreed. "So, I guess that's settled," he said, lifting his head up to the female warrior. "Silktuft, you can care for these pups, and Echopup will, too. Just remember to teach her all you know about pup care."

Snowstorm was about to continue speaking to his pups, but another wolf (Opalwing) came into the camp, carrying a limp apprentice, and calling for Twistedfoot. "Stay in here, you two," he said to Icepup and Tornadopup, before rushing out of the nursery and over to Opalwing. Hearing what the warrior said about a badger, he said, "Was there any other scent around her? Any predators, any wolves?" The white deputy sniffed the apprentice over before returning his gaze to Opalwing, waiting for a reply.

Tornadopup had been listening without saying a word, letting Icepup ask the questions. All this was new to him, too. He had never actually bothered to ask about any of these things, but it sure was fun to learn. He let out a slight whimper as their father left the nursery, and told them to stay there. He watched Snowstorm through the entrance of the nursery. "Is she dead?" He asked his brother, horrified as he saw the apprentice dangling from the other warrior's jaws. "What do you think happened?"

Dewpup awoke from her small nap. Her eyes widened, though, as Opalwing entered the camp, carrying a limp apprentice in her jaws. What happened here!? she though to herself. "Whats a badger...?" she asked herself.

Opalwing shook her head her eyes worried "no just the scent of stormclan and her mentor" her mud encrusted tail lashed from side to side, the thick fur sticking up in every direction. The normally self centered wolf looked completly worried for the apprentice before her. And in fact she was,

The apprentice glanced up as she heard a cry for her mentor, Twistedfoot. Lightpaw's eyes went wide with shock once she saw the apprentice. The light brown she-wolf asked no questions, she and Twistedfoot would have to quicly treat the apprentice.
"Its going to be okay Swiftpaw." The medicine wolf apprentice said softly. She took a moment to recall the herbs before scooping out both poppy seeds and thyme in her paws.
"Twistedfoot, which one do we use?" Lightpaw asked, trying to be cautious.

Swiftpaw flinched before waking up from her black-out. She growled when she opened her eyes (Eye =P), but only encountered the same black and whiteness. "Ugh... so it wasn't a dream...." Swift growled as the pain flared. Swiftpaw then noticed she had cobwebs applied on her. She then took a chance to get used the the scents, sounds, and auras. Thank StarClan! Someone found me! I'm in camp... Swiftpaw thought. "Huh...?" She woofed, trying to figure out who was around her. But the only thing she could smell was wolves and her own blood that covered her face.
When more wolves started talking, she recognized the voice. "Twistedfoot? Am I in camp?" Swiftpaw's mind was racing. Will I ever become a warrior? Am I too injured? She thought.

Lightpaw nodded as Twistedfoot told her to use the poppy seeds. She scooped a few of the seeds with her paw, putting them aside as she searched for the goldenrod and marigold. She glanced around for the two flowers before finding them and dropping them beside Swiftpaw.
"Is that good?" Lightpaw asked, a bit nervously as this was her first patient.
Then she heard Swiftpaw's question.
"Yes. Me and Twistedfoot are going to take care of you." The medicine wolf apprentice said softly.

Ravenclaw heard a commotion outside. He sat up and rubbed his eyes with one of his paws. He yawned and stood up. Rolling his shoulders,he sneezed once. "Ugh...I'm gonna get sick if I keep this up..." He stepped over to the medicine den. Which was slowly being crowded. He noticed the bloodied apprentice in the den. He instantly narrowed his eyes. "What happened?" He said in a deep smooth voice.

Shadowclaw stood up and stared at the den. The bloodied apprentice had passed him. He snorted. "Doesn't smell like a badger Silky." He waved his tail in the air. "I just smell her mentor on her." He narrowed his eyes. "Maybe One attacked her..."

Swiftpaw sighed, but her body suddenly ran cold. "Is Onefang here?" She asked, her eyes wide with pure fear. "Ohcrudohcrudohcrudohcrud what will he think?" She whimpered quietly. Swiftpaw then heard Twistedfoot ask any other injuries. "I have some scars here and there; But they are fine. It's just my face..." She replied.
She didn't want anyone to know how much Onefang abused her. If she told someone, she figured, they will tell the leader, and confront Onefang. She shivered, knowing that he will get revenge.
Now that she was injured, she knew how bad she will be treated by the dark wolf.
When Swiftpaw blacked out, the wolf must have gone somewhere. For when she woke up, the wolf was no where to be found.
