Fourtrees #3

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Blackhawk pushed her over with his muzzle. "Nothing, I'm just happy to see you are ok."

she squealed falling over to her side, she lay on her back grinning up at him all over her jet black muzzle, she batted at his muzzle then leapt up and clambered onto his back laughing "i mised you blackhawk!" she yipped.

Blackhawk looked back, "I missed you too, little one."

her face light up with the merry excitement of a fuzzy young pup. she wagged her tail so much she almost flew and buried her face in his ruff happily.

Russetstar dipped his head to Shadestar as he saw the ShadowClan leader arrive. "Are we ready to start?" he asked, trying to keep the irritation that they had been waiting here for a while out of his voice.

Direpup narrowed his eyes as Ravenpup played with a thunderclan warrior, what business did that little thing have with a large male THUNDERCLAN warrior. he could almost smell betrayal in the air, sticking his nose in the air he made his way back over to heatherpup and whispered in her ear "look at ravenpup playing around with that thunderclan warrior"

Heatherpup followed Direpup's gaze and spotted the little pup prancing around the Thunderclan warrior. She couldn't suppress a small snort. Doesn't she know anything about the warrior code? She couldn't help letting the question slip into her mind. I think she is a bit too fond of that warrior. I wonder why? Heatherpup tore her icy blue gaze from Ravenpup and looked back at Direpup with a little roll of her eyes.

"Wow who knew that such a beautiful thing could be a horrible curse." she looked at Russetstar,"Are we starting soon? If not I'm going to check on the other wolves." she said.

"I wouldn't believe everything Ivyfrost says," the male replied. "She's not.....stable. She sees things in a different way to everyone else." He looked across at the other leaders. They seemed still and quiet. "I think we'll have to wait a little longer, so you might as well go and meet the others."

"Ok I'll check on the others then, tell me when it starts." she said and padded over to Direpup and see's him glaring at Ravenpup and another wolf, "Whats wrong?" she asked.

Wondering when the gathering would start she senced uneasyness between some wolfs so she went over to high rock to ask what was going on

Moonpup sighed as Direpup padded away. Alone again she thought bitterly. She lashed her tail and waited for the gathering to start.

Seeing the leaders busy she left but saw moonpup so she padded over to talk to her

Moonpup heard Hawkpool approach and turned her head towards her. She knew it was Hawkpool because she recognised her scent. "Hey Hawkpool," she said.

Hi moonpup then saw her sightless eyes so she gasped What happened why are you blind who did this to you she was thinking Why would starclan hurt a inocent pup she stared in her eyes then she let the pup curl up against her

"I think starclan hurt me because I went on the adventure." she whimpered. "I just woke up blind." She turned her head forward again.

Oh this is all my fault she whimpered she felt a tear on her muzzle Then said look at the bright side at least you will have more enhanced sences but she knew it wouldnt change anything

"So? I cant see Hawkpool. I will never be able to 'see' fourtrees in my whole lifetime. Sure, others have described it but its not the same." She flicked her ears impatiently. "When's the gathering going to start. All the leaders are here right?"

Well it seems they are having problems so it seems its not starting anytime soon she said it with sympathy but she knew it would just make her feel worse

Entering the clearing of fourtrees she was mesmerized by the wolfs and said "i cant believe this is my first gathering" then She ran down to see if windclan pupus were around

Pulling away from all the chat and other wolves she padded to the foot of Greatrock. Sitting at the base watching the four leaders with a grin. Then keeping silent until they decided to begin.

"Yes." Shadestar said briskly, standing up. He barely noticed the ThunderClan Leader's glare. "I will go first." He howled for silence and then stood at the edge of the rock, his claws gripping the granite surface impatiently as he waited for them to settle down. "Congratulations to Lightningpaw for becoming a warrior, Lightningflash is her new name. We are continuing the brisk training of our Apprentices and many of our pups are soon to be Apprentices. We are strong. And ready for anything." He said. "But I have something important to say regarding... ThunderClan" He said the Clan name with a distaste, as if it rolled off his tongue and didn't taste good. Letting his words sink in, he continued. "A ShadowClan Warrior and I tracked a female pup who was convinced by a ThunderClan Warrior to return to camp with her. I know this isn't the first time it has happened, and when I was in the camp to take my pup back to camp where it was stolen from, I did not see the ThunderClan leader in sight." Shadestar turned to the ThunderClan Leader. "Keep your Warriors under control." he growled. "I won't stand for it." His golden gaze turned to glare at Ravenpup and the ThunderClan warrior she was playing with.

She perked her ears once Shadestar mentioned Thunderclan she looked at the leader. But then nodding and looking back over her shoulder at the Thunderclan wolves. Sighing she turned back to see who was up next.

Rainstar rolled her eyes. She stepped forward as if Shadestar had said nothing, "Thunderclan is growing quickly, and soon very soon our pups shall become apprentices. Prey is running well and we check our borders often. " She looked at Shadestar , "And yes what Shadestar says is true. One of my warriors brought back a pup, which he would have never met had this pup been taught correctly and had it been being watched over correctly. But I don't blame you we are not perfect. We can only go so far." Her voice had remained calm, she sighed. Smirking the black fae stepped back. Her tail flicking in annoyance.

Moonpup listened thoughtfully. "So thats why..." she mused to herself.
