Fourtrees #3

First topic message reminder :

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Russetstar strode into Fourtrees, and leapt onto the huge rock which easily dominated the area. The incident which had happened between ThunderClan and WindClan was still on his mind, and he tactfully avoided Rainstar's eye as he surveyed the area.

Heatherpup could smell the scents of Shadowclan, Windclan and Thunderclan on the air, and with a look at Tallrock she saw Russetstar jump up and take his place next to Rainstar. She wondered if either Russetstar or Rainstar would mention anything about Moonpup's little adventure, and about the warrior that had shown her the battle moves. Of course they wont say anything about the battle moves! she scolded herself. That could be one of our biggest advantages! If we said anything it would just become as useless as if we didn't know them in the first place. Her eyes traveled back to the pups around her and she pushed the thoughts of her back of her mind. I guess we will find out when the Gathering starts.

"I really want to be a medicine wolf Shadepup. What if we could BOTH be medicine wolves?" she asked, her voice showing her exitement. "Im not much use as a warrior, but I could really help as a medicine wolf!"

"oh hello there Ravenpup, its nice to see you three getting along, now what is this talk about being medicine wolves?" she smiled at the three pups.

Moonpup jumped as Snowflower spoke. "Uh, we all want to be medicine wolves! But me and Shadepup are both in Windclan so I dont know..."

(Hello? I was still there. Oh well)

Mistypup bounced over to Snowflower and some others. She overheard the last comment and added in, "I think that would be real helpful! But I don't want to be a medicine wolf! I'm going to be a ShadowClan warrior!"

Heatherpup sat back as the wolves talked and got lost in her thoughts. I'm going to become the best warrior ever known! She thought with a smile and looked back at Mistypup as she stated her ambitions for the future.

"That means you two are going to be rivals, and you little one, you would make a fine warrior." she smiled at the pups."But remember you should train hard." she said swishing her tail.

Featherpup wandered around, gazing up at the Great Rock where Russetstar and Rainstar sat.

Heatherpup saw a Thunderclan pup (Featherpup) wandering around and wondered if she should go and say hi. She looked at the wolves nearby, but they seemed to be caught up in conversation. So, deciding that it wouldn't matter if she was gone for a minute or two, trotted over to the pup happily. "Hey there!" she yipped as she got within hearing range and smiled.

Featherpup whipped her head around, seeing a (Shadow/Wind/River o.o)Clan member. "Oh, hi" she barked, her tail starting to slightly wag. "I'm Featherpup, who are you?"

Heatherpup's tail swished happily from side to side. "I'm Heatherpup! It's nice to meet you Featherpup." she dipped her head slightly in a polite gesture.
(sorry, I didn't know what to say!)

Moopup sighed. "Yeah, rivals. I would make a horrible warrior though. I can hardly get across the clearing without tripping." She lashed her tail, and felt the presence of Heatherpup disappear. "Heatherpups gone isn't she?" she questioned to no one in particular.

"Oh, hi Heatherp(u/a)(p/w)!" Featherpup yipped happily. She turned her gaze on the Great Rock again. "When do you think its starting?"

(I haven't done my apprentice ceremony yet so I'm sticking with pup for the moment :3 )

Heatherpup followed Featherpups gaze to the Great rock and mumbled, "I'm not sure. I wonder when Shadestar and Greystar will get here..." she could not see nor smell any trace if the other two leaders, though could spot a couple of their clan mates here and there.

Ravenpup shrugged and said "well i think that two medicine wolves would be usefull! you could take turns gathering the herbs and it would mean you would be the strongest medicine wolves around and such" she smiled then sighed lying down.

hollowfang raised his head from the moss laden stone he had placed it upon and blinked. his eyes took in the slow filtering of wolves through the moonlit clearing and watched as they gazed up at the stony crag of a rock where the leaders of the clan would sit. he was early, he knew that much, unfortunately for his clan he liked wandering alone but he was still as loyal as ever. he spied the pups of shadowclan and flicked the battle scarred ear. he didnt trust those who ate marsh frogs for supper but the pups couldn't harm anyone could they? after all it was the gathering and an uneasy truce had ensued. he got onto his paws and slowly mingled with the shadows

Ravenpup looked up at the battlescarred warrior and grinned sitting back on her haunches "hello!" she barked "im ravenpup! im goin to be a medicine wolf one day!" she grinned, her black sleekpelt having a bluetint to it.

hollowfang looked uneasily at the pup, it was it's clan he got the scars from and he was weary. so very weary. " hello... ravenpup. i am hollowfang. i am a warrior" his tongue flicked over his crescent shaped scar, damn boarder patrol he was on windclan soil...

the pups eyes widened in amazement "woahh thats sooo cool! and you are all scarred you must have fought in plenty of battles!" she sniffed at his wounds interestedly

he stood his ground, he had to, no wolf was going to accuse him of violating the sacred truce. even though, the pup was annoying, he could give it that much. his ears flicked back and forth " in answer to your statement pup yes. yes i have"

Direpup raced over and satbeside his idol hollowfang "hello hollowfang" he chirped happily "whos the pup over there?" his blue eyes narrowed coldly at the other pup

wonderful. more pups which starclan wanted to plague him with. this one was more irritating then the shadowclan pup. " that is ravenpup, bloodpup" he stated resolutely, hiding his hesitance in becoming a pup sitter. he was a free spirit by heart but it seemed his fate was guarding the nursery

Direpup indignatly pounced on Hollowfangs tail "im DIREpup not blood pup" he snorted sitting down glaring up at the wolf he hoped with all his heart would be his mentor. he glared at the black fae with glaring in his blue eyes, her clan was the one who had hurt his beloved Hollowfang.

The black fae snorted rolling her midnight blue eyes that had golden tints through them. males always thinking they were in charge. she told the little brat archly "IM going to be a paw soon so you had better respect your elders" she licked a paw delicatly her eyes framed by long lashes.
