Shadowpaw training w/ Direstar

Greetings all wolves, pups may not intrude on this training unless they want a severe talking to. anyone else is free to join in and spice up our rp. this rp will probbaly roam all over sunclans new territory from the stunted forest to the swift river. the statistic idea belongs to magmafeather i do not own it. now Shadowpaw here are your stats are you ready to take the plunge?

Direstar padded up to the sandy slope and sat down, shifting his paws a little grumpily the red eyed leader stared at the sand on the ground. it would be good to train shadowpaw on these slopes, most wolves wouldnt be used to it and should be awkward on the territory. that would give sunclan the edge the leader decided. his thoughts turned to the river.. hmm they would need the exriver clan wolves to show them how to fish, perhaps stoatpaw. shaking his head the leader came back to the present and perked his ears listening for the sound of any apprentice pawsteps.

Direstar nodded and smiled proudly "try and find more prey, it will be hard because the foxes scent would have scared them away as well as my growling" his blood red eyes twinkled slightly. he stood and stretched luxuriously before flickin his ears.

Shadowpaw nodded and padded around softly. Stopping to take the scent of the air, his voice wheezing a bit. He then found it. Frog scent, one maybe. He leapt down, crouching low to the ground, his tail hovering slightly. He stalked it carefully, so the frog would not detect him. He went forward and leapt onto it. Killing it with a single blow. He carried it back to Direstar and sent it down. His tail wagged as he looked at his mentor for comments.

Direstar smiled with amusement "very good" his blood red eyes glittered with impressment. he twitched his tail and yawned a little "try and attack me"

Shadowpaw smiled, he looked at his mentor. He narrowed his eyes and went to dive for a slide under his leader to slash at his leaders belly. He was determined to become a warrior so he could protect the clan. He wanted to improve his skills.

Direstar moved his rightpaw and gave his apprentice a good thwack to the head with his paw. he then leapt to the side and raked one of his paws lightly across his apprentices side. backing up he tilted his head as if to say 'your move'. the blood coloured leader smirked faintly.

Shadowpaw looked at him. "Can we work on my defensive moves Direstar?" He asked, he needed a lot of help with his defensive moves. He didn't want to interrupt training, but he wanted to work on his defense.

Direstar nodded and said "use your legs and speed to dodge my offensive moves" with a quick spring of his powerful back legs he hurtled toward the apprentice. a fearsome glow in his eye the leader snapped at the apprentices ears.

Shadowpaw ran with all his might, pushing from the ground in a leap to the side. he had strong legs, but not as strong of the former WindClan wolf. He managed to barely make it out of Direstar's way. He looked at Direstar, ready for him to attack again.

Direstar lifted his right paw and slammed his paw towards the apprentice, his claws sheathed yet could still deliver a blow that could knock someone dizzy. his blood red eyes watched the apprentice with a cold accuracy

Shadowpaw went for a dive away from the paw. His eyes set on not being hurt, in a real battle, one blow he would die from that. He wanted to be one to survive to strive. He again, barely avoided the attack.

Direstar flicked his tail and watched his apprentice with his glittering blood red eyes. snorting he pounced towards shadowpaw and flipped him over pinning him down being careful to stay to the side so his front paws were on the apprentices belly.
