StormClan Camp

First topic message reminder :

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

"Oh" Creekpaw said, his sleek gray tail drooping a little in dissapointment. He saw the fae stare down at her paws, acting strangely. Is there something wrong? Is it me? he wondered. Why do i feel so close to her when I hardly even know her? He just didn't understand. He glanced at the fresh-kill pile, loaded up with fresh rat. "Hey, umm, h-have you ever tried rat?" he stuttered, his paws kneading into the ground. He didn't like all of this awkward feeling. It just didn't seem right, especially because they had seemed so close before.

Sparrowpup regained control of her emotions as he asked. She looked him in the eyes. "No I haven't." She said truthfully.

"Would you like to try some?" Their eyes locked, amber with gray. He stood there for a moment, staring back into the depths of her shining eyes. Tearing his gaze away reluctantly, he swiftly padded over to the fresh-kill pile. He bent over, grasping one carefully in his jaws that didn't look to beat up, and carried it back to Sparrowpup. "Faes first," he smiled, setting down the prey, his sleek tail thumping against the ground as the large gray apprentice sat back on his haunches.

Sparrowpup nodded a thanks as she leaned down to nibble on the rat. She took a bite and looed up at him. "This is really good!" She said, her thoughts telling her different. Theres a smile on my face, knowing that together. Everything that's in our way, will be alright. She thought.

Creekpaw glanced down at Sparrowpup. Giving her a friendly nod, he bent his dead down, tearing off a chunk of the rat. He swallowed it, the strangely enticing flavor spreading through his mouth. "I didn't think something so ugly could be so delicious!" he joked, swallowing another mouthful of the prey.

Hearing Creekpaw's familiar squeal,he peered outside. He was sharing a rat with the young pup. Now that he took a closer look at her,she looked bigger. He blinked. Hmm,she might be made an apprentice soon. When i was a pup,i was as big as one. He sighed,and then scrambled out of the nursery. He saw the thorns get caught on his pelt. He then tore through. He saw he left lumps of fur and drops of crimson blood. He shook his pelt,he then gave it a soft lick. He sighed. I'm starting to get too big. He then saw his breath disappear,showing the two wolves sharing the rat. He sat up,and blinked.

Creekpaw saw a flash of blue in the corner of his eye. The large gray apprentice turned his head, spotting Bluepaw, standing and watching he and Sparrowpup shared the rat. He stood there, watching. I've never seen Bluepaw close to anyone like this before, he thought, biting off a small chunk of his meal. Could he possibly be...jealous? Creekpaw pondered that for a moment before swallowing. Nah. I bet he just hasn't gotten a good look at Sparrowpup yet, he concluded.

Seeing Creekpaw look at him,he blinked. Then gave him a congratulating nod. Nice work for an old Riverclanner. And looks like he made a new friend. He grinned,then turned and stood up. He felt then snow under his paws slowly melt. He then flicked his tail,and made his way to the den. He then paused in front of the den. He sank his claws into the dirt. He then felt an icy brezze plow through his pelt. He looked down at the ground blankly. He just stared into darkness. He then shook his head,then turned to the sky. It was gray,showering the camp. He then turned and laid down in his nest. He sighed and heard his belly rumble. He quickly dismissed it,and closed his eyes.

Creekpaw and Sparrowpup began talking. Bluepaw went in the apprentice den and Luna was now alone. She smiled then went back to her log. She prefered the log rather than the den. She shrugged in her log and wrapped her tail around herself making it feel comfy and warm. The moss under her made the log look like a nest. The apprentice placed her head on her paws as she slowly closed eyes. She was so tired and she could not stay awake anymore. She easily fell asleep.

A little bored Silverstone gave Silverheart and Snowstorm one last smile. She got to her paws and left the nursery. She looked around for something to do or someone to talk to. She saw the warrior Magmafeather and decided to have a conversation with him. "Hello Magmafeather." She said. "Anything exciting happened lately?"

Sparrowpup grinned and took another bite. "Guess you can't judge something on appearance. it's like what others think of fish. But fish is delicious." She said kindly. It was a logical explanation.

Creekpaw nodded, tearing off a final bite. "Well, you get used to the look of fish." The large apprentice swallowed. "But when you taste it, you don't mind the scaliness." He stood up, arching his back in a luxourious stretch. "So who do you think your mentor will be?" he asked, sitting back down. "I hope you get someone as great as Silentwhisper. He's the best!"

Feeling a cold brezze take hold of his body,he stood up gasping. He shook his frosted pelt. He felt a shiver run through his body. He noticed Luna through his droopy eyes. He yawned. He then stretched,and looked around. He then took a rat from the fresh-kill pile. He then gracefully jumped onto it. He set down the piece of prey,and grinned. He then returned to his nest. He laid down and curled up. Closing his eyes,he fell into a deep sleep.

Ravensky said to shadestar "there were plenty of rats in the old camp, they actually attacked us these arent like the normal rats shadestar". Her midnight blue eyes watched his golden ones with a feirce ferocity "the patrol should be at the least five experienced warriors, and the rats are spread out over our territory, some of the rats are infested with diseases that could kill a wolf". she lashed her tail watching them, her heart skipped a beat as she noticed fangclaw. her midnight blue eyes turned to watch him.

Sparrowpup smiled at him as she thought, who did she want as her mentor? Silverstone, that was certain, she seemed like a nice warrior with a strong spirit and passion for protecting her clan. "I want to have Silverstone as my mentor." She said proudly, her eyes gleamed in pride and admiration of the warrior.

Fangclaw had been listening to bits and pieces, knowing it was bad to listen anyways. So finally breaking off his ears from the private conversation, Fangclaw looked around the camp, and caught a glitter from a familiar she-wolfs eyes. Returning the gaze, the warrior gave the medicine wolf a reassuring smile, then broke it off before anyone could have noticed. Both Silentwhisper and Ravensky had grew on him, and they both had grown so much from the first time Stormclan emerged, and it scared him. Shaking those thoughts out of his head, Fangclaw went over to the fresh-kill pile to see a few dead rats. 'Ew.' He thought, and took a smaller one, just to keep himself busy, and the fact that he was hungry too.

Silverstone smiled as Sparrowpup mentioned her name. She nodded at the young wolf but then looked again at warrior. She true to listen to what Silverheart and Snowstorm were naming their pups at the same time.

Lunapaw finally woke up. She opened her hazy eyes slowly and looked around. The only thing she saw was silhouettes. She blinked few times and yawned once. Then she got up and streched. She now could see perfectly so she glanced around the camp but the only wolves she saw were Creekpaw and Sparrowpup. She did not saw Blue so she suggested that he was sleeping in the apprentice den. She sat front of her log as she looked at the sky. She felt the cold snow under her paws. The sky was light gray and the air was cold but fresh. In this moment Luna began wondering what is the the world beyond the clans territories, somewhere where the two-legs lived.

Shadestar's tail began to lash in annoyance. "I don't need advice or tactics from you, Ravensky, I can take care of this myself," he growled, his eyes narrowed, quite done with her attitude as of late. The leader followed the Medicine Wolf's gaze to the StormClan warrior. "If you're quite done with staring at a warrior I would appreciate it if you could go elsewhere. We have plans to arrange, and apparently you have herbs to find."

He then turned to look at the other leader and Nightfeather, the deputy. "We could use these rats as a new food source, though they're quite disgusting and I would much prefer a rabbit instead. Perhaps we should wait the event out and then decide later on if we'd like to attack. For now, I believe we have some ceremonies to arrange."

Standing up, the wolf nodded in order to excuse himself and walked past Ravensky and towards the rock. Leaping onto it, he howled and called for a meeting.

Magmafeather sat down fairly close to the two leaders. He wondered what the meeting was about. Most likely the rats, but nothing was certain. He personally felt that the rats couldn't do much harm anyways. He calmly waited for the meeting to start.

Ravenskys fur bristled at his tone, she flattened her ears then snapped "fine shadestar, since you dont seem to appreciate my advice stuff you to starclan!". she whirled around and stalked out of camp. her medicine bag hanging around her neck. she headed to highstones. her eyes glittering with absolute fury. if storm clan ever became shadow and river again she would be joining river.

Snowstorm looked at Bluepaw as the wolf spoke to him. "Yes," he said, "I am the father, and I am very proud ." He looked down at his mate and pups with a warm smile. And suddenly a name for the brown pup with white on it's belly and tail popped into his head. "Tornadopup..." he murmured, "Tornadopup," he said more loudly, gesturing towards the pup with his muzzle. "I think that's a good name for that one." The white wolf looked at Silverheat, waiting to see if his mate liked the name.
