StormClan Camp

First topic message reminder :

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

As the meeting concluded, Magmafeather streched in thought. So far, things seemed to be going okay with this new clan. He had forced himself to agree to train a shadowclan born apprentice, and it hadn't been bad at all. Perhaps Shadowclan had never been bad in the first place. At the very least, Bluestorm and Ravensky seemed to be unevil. And Shadestar seemed to trust him for some reason. Overall, Stormclan wasn't that different from Riverclan, and neither Shadestar nor Graystar were bad leaders. As Magmafeather walked toward the warrior's den, he decided to try something new. He grabbed a frog off the fresh kill pile. Taking it into the warrior's den, he tasted it. Not as satisfying as fish, he thought, but actually quite good. As he finished it, and then settled into a comfortable sleep, he knew that even when the clan had broken up (and he felt it would once the common enemy of leaf bare was gone), he would have a new respect toward Shadowclan.

Nodding,he then retreaded back towards the den. He noticed his old metor Magmafeather. He too picked up a piece of freshkill. Taking a mouse,he sighed. He then laid down by him. "Hey,how's that frog of yours? I have a mouse. Snakes aren't out in leaf-bare." He then pawed his piece of fresh-kill,then turned to Magmafeather and blinked.

Creekpaw listened, his ears pricked intently, as Shadestar announced Bluestorm's warrior ceremony. One day, that will be me up there, he thought. He held his tongue as Shadestar leaped off the Highrock, Graystar quickly taking the ShadowClan leader's place. The old RiverClan leader beconned Sparrowpup towards her, quickly naming her as Sparrowpaw and appointed Fangclaw to be her mentor."Bluestorm! Sparrowpaw! Bluestorm! Sparrowpaw," the large gray male chanted, his fluffy gray tail thumping the earth happily as it wagged. He started to get up, but Shadestar was already atop the Highrock again, announcing to StormClan of the rats in Carrion place. He shuddered as he remembered the rat attack, and his wounds throbbed with the memory. He stood, padding over to where Sparrowpaw was bouncing around Fangclaw. "Congrats!" he yipped, reaching out to cuff her on the ear with one of his large paws. "We'll have to go hunting or train together sometime." He smiled warmly at the gray-and-brown fae.

Sparrowpup smiled at Creekpaw, they'd have to hunt or train sometime when she knew how to hunt or what was in training. "Definitely!" She said confidently, her eyes full of pride, she was an apprentice! She looked at Fangclaw. "Can we go hunting? Or can I learn how to fight?" She asked eagerly.

Leaving Sparrowpaw to interrogate her new mentor, Creekpaw padded out t othe center of camp. His amber eyes darted around, they rested on the apprentices' den. Weariness creeping over him, the large gray apprentice shouldered his way into the den. Scraping together a few clumps of moss, he formed a nest near the back of the den. As he settled into his new nest, he sniffed the air. It smelled strongly of Bluestorm and Lunapaw, as he guessed he had come in and made their nests a while back. Closing his eyes, he drifted off into peaceful sleep, shutting the world out.

Seeing Creekpaw leave for his den to sleep,he remebered he needed to do something. He sighed,and stood up. He gave a grateful nod to his old mentor,Magmafeather,and walked over to the middle of camp. He sat down and watched the horizon slowly. He noticed shadows loomed over the camp. He blinked,and looked down at his paws. He felt a chill run through them. He then looked back at the rolling marsh and cold river.

Fangclaw watched the two apprentices, and smiled. 'Reminds me of Ripplestone and Stoatblaze when we were little...' He thought, the faint memory of his friends in his mind. Realizing that maybe on one day both Creekpaw and Sparrowpaw could train together. That is, if Creekpaw's mentor allows him to. "I would like to show you the territories first, and maybe after we can." The warrior voiced, hoping that Sparrowpaw wouldn't disobey or anything. He wasn't exactly a good elder figure, as he himself needed to know more things about being a mentor. Maybe later he'll stop by the nursery and ask Silverheart. But for now, Fangclaw sat there, awaiting the answer of his apprentice.

Blue came around and nudged her. She smiled at him. Just when she was about to congratulate him he went to his mentor or well to his exmentor. Luna glanced at the new apprentice - Sparrowpaw. She smiled again. She was about to return in her log when she saw Blue at the middle of the camp. She got up and walked to him. She nuzzled him as she spoke with a soft and gentle voice. "Congratulation Bluestorm! You really deserve this." she looked at him as her silver gray eyes shone at him.

Creekpaw awoke. He pried open his amber eyes, his jaws splitting in a yawn to reveal long white fangs. Getting to his paws, he padded outside. The sun had set, leaving long streaks of vibrant oranges, deep purples, and pink highlights. Tearing his gaze away from the sunset, he glanced around, spotting Bluestorm in the center of the camp. Keeping vigil most likely, the large gray apprentice thought. He scrambled on top of the log, which served as the apprentices' den, and sat down near the edge. He gazed at the sunset, mystified by its beauty.

Sparrowpaw nodded to her mentor and looked at him curiously. "Can we go see the territory now then?" She asked, she was really excited about this. Perhaps she'd be the best apprentice ever! She wanted to be.

Seeing Luna,he nodded. He couldn't speak during his vigil. He sighed,and then curled his tail around his cold paws. He felt the cold brezze push through his fur. He shivered,and then looked around. The sky had darkend to a midnight blue. And the moon was somewhat small. Yet it still gave ight through the clearing. He saw shadows dance around the camp.

Fangclaw was amazed at Sparrowpaw's excitement, but showed no sign of his amazement. Only giving her a smile, Fangclaw nodded. "Of course, choose somewhere to go. But avoid the carrion place and the old ShadowClan camp, because of the rats." Maybe the RiverClan camp if they were lucky too. Other than those two places, everywhere was free to go.

Sparrowpaw thought for a moment or two. "Can we go to the river and the old RiverClan territory?" She asked, she wanted to learn of the clans, if she couldn't visit the ShadowClan camp or the Carrion Place, she was sure she'd be allowed to see them later on. She was eager to get going so she ran to the camp exit and waited.

Fangclaw chuckled at her excitement, then nodded. "Of course." But she had already ran towards the exit. "Follow me, and if you can't see me, follow my scent." With that being said, Fangclaw turned towards the direction where his old home was, and left in an instant, breaking into a run. He wondered how his camp was going, and hopefully nothing had changed too much.

Sparrowpaw nodded and as her mentor left camp, she followed him. Her gaze not stopping from him. She wasn't going to get lost. She was excited, her mind racing with thoughts. Her amber eyes gazing around in curiosity that she nearly lost Fangclaw.
-RiverClan Camp [Old]-

Snowstorm smiled as the wolves had they're ceremonies. But his smile disappeared as Shadestar mentioned the rats. He hoped that no wolves would get injured, and that the wolves that were already injured weren't injured badly. The white wolf turned back to his mate as she nudged him and his smile returned. He looked at the unnamed pup and tried to think of a name, but couldn't think of any.

(By the way Luna, I'll make our training topic and we'll just pretend that I already showed you the territory)

Luna knew that Blue could not speak during his vigil. She sat next to him and wrapped her fluffy tail around her paws preventing the cold feeling. She glanced at the moon and smiled. It was so beautiful and the stars, which were alot tonight, were twinkling so bright. Her ears twitched as she looked at the shadows which looked like they were dancing on the moon light. Everything was just perfect.

Glancing at Luna,he collected himself but shook his head. This is going to be a long night. He sighed,and let Luna huddle up to him. It was still chilly in their winter coats,and he felt like everything was perfect. He looked up at the stars. He saw them twinkle,and shine in the night sky. He blinked and grinned.

Lunapaw glanced at the stars again. She began thinking. It seemed like yesterday she was just a litttle shy pup, trying to find friends, and now she is apprentice and maybe one day a warrior. She looked at Bluestorm as her smile did not disappear even for a second. She remembered the day when they were playing around pretending being the best warrior and leader in the whole clan history. Back then everything was just a game.

Looking into Luna's gray eyes,he felt his eyes sparkle. He nuzzled her,and grinned. He then curled her tail around her. He felt her grow close. He stared off into the horisen.

Luna grinned when Blue nuzzled her. She felt his tail curled around her. Even though they were not talking Luna enjoyed every second with Blue. She felt safe around him. The apprentice nuzzled him gently as she wrapped her tail around him. She glanced at him then at the horisen.

Silentwhisper's gaze was set upon Lunaoaw and Bluestorm. He turned his head and breathed heavily creating fog in the world. He watched it disappear and thought for a moment. He was off in another world when Nightfeather and the leaders were discussing the battle. Was it going to take place? Well not now anyway. Especially in the middle of leaf- bare. Plus they had to deal with the rats. He didn't want to question either of his two leaders so he lay down in the snow. He rested his large head on his paws and sighed. He watched the snowflakes fall every now and again. He also watched any wolf that passed.

He watched the sun set. It was darkening. He blinked and saw the shadows disappear. He then looked at Lunapaw. Doesn't she want to go to sleep? She then nodded his head towards the den. Trying to signal her to go to sleep. She should get some sleep. She might have to train earlier tomorrow. He then licked her ear and playfully nipped at it. He smiled.

The sun disappeared together with the shadows. Lunapaw looked at Bluestorm. He gave her signal to go in the den. The wolf shaked head slowly for no. She prefered staying here with him. Her ear twitched when he licked it and began nipping on it. She smiled as her paw slightly raised. She licked his muzzle as her ears twitched again.
