StormClan Camp

The StormClan camp is surrounded by prickly bushes and is well protected against outsiders. It is in the middle of a forest, a cross between ShadowClan and RiverClan camps. The nature of this causes the camp to become misty on particularly humid days. The leader's den are two big rocks that balance each other, creating a tunnel which is relatively large in nature. Plant matter hangs over the entrance and shields the inside from view. The elder's den is a large thorn bush, hollowed in the inside for comfort. It is well protected. The warriors den is an abandoned fox den which lost the scent of its previous owners long ago. The den has been expanded further by its new warrior inhabitants and is large enough for all of the warriors of the Clan. Beside this den is the apprentices den, which is a tree trunk which had fallen over long ago in a storm and over time was hollowed out by the elements. The nursery is similar to the Elder's den, as it is well protected by thorns and has a secure wall.

Hearing a grunt he turned and nodded at the warrior. He blinked. Then glanced at Skyfeather. He frowned. "Well,at least get her to the nursery!" He padded over and glanced at her frantically. "Can you get up?"

Seeing Ceekfire curl up in his den,he sighed and rolled his eyes. Frowning,he glanced back at the wolf. "Well,I'm just going to drag you then." He took her scruff and started dragging her towards the nursery. Please don't struggle. Your heavy enough.

Skyfeather winced as Bluestorm dragged her to the nursery, the movement making her thighs twitch and causing more pain. The fae stayed still, though, knowing that anything could happen if she struggled against the male's hold. She cursed the stars that she had to be pregnant while she had forgotten everything! She felt idiotic and she could just feel the talking to she was going to get.

Setting her down on a nest. He released his grip. Panting,he glanced around. Then padded partially outside the den. "OWLSCREECH!!" He yelled. Then glanced around and flattened his ears. He muttered to himself. "Where in the heck is that cranky medicine wolf." He sighed and glanced back inside. He had seen Ravensky give a stick to the birthing mothers,he shook his head. Shes dead. He sighed and went outside. He searched through the snow,and found one. Picking it up,he set it in front of Skyfeather. "Bite on this if you feel pain. It might help." He flicked his tail.

Sky nodded at the male, taking the stick in her mouth and biting down. It made her jaw hurt but it was better than screaming out bloody murder and now her focus was not just on the pain in her stomach. She let out a muffled groan of pain as she felt her stomach muscles tense up again. Where was that bloody Medicine Wolf?!

He swallowed the lump in his throat. He glanced around. "I don't know much,but I think I'm going to try." He started pushing on her belly slowly. "Umm,ok take deep breaths and try to relax." He twitched at the scent of milk. He flashed for a second.

By the dump. A white wolf was sitting down and slowly licking a furry object. It was blue. And there was another. A white wolf with gray.

He shook his head. "Ok deep breaths."

Snowstorm heard a loud scream, and he whipped his head around to see that Skyfeather was giving birth. He had seen this only once before, and that was when his own mate, Silverheart, had given birth. He stepped aside to make way for Owlscreech, but he decided that he shouldn't crowd the new queen anymore. The newly named deputy sat down outside the medicine den and watched, waiting for it all to be over, and also waiting to see if the medicine wolf wanted him to help in any way.

Owlscreech appeared, his eyes glittering with irritation. he lashed his tail and placed down the herbs he had brought. he towered over Skyfeather and gave a snort "oh stop your complaining! Silverheart managed to give birth without this much fuss! are you a warrior or are you a soft house dog?". he glanced at bluestorm and gave a nod of approval, it was good that the young warrior had given skyfeather a branch to hold onto. he sat down and placed a paw on her belly and gave a soft snort.

Sparrowheart gently pushed her side up against Creekfire, licking his ear to calm him. "Lets get out of camp, I don't think we need to be here for this." She whispered into his ear as she headed out of camp. She headed to the river, perhaps some water would calm him down.

Creekfire lifted his head as Sparrowheart padded over to him, suggesting they get away for a little while. Nodding in agreement, he got to his legs, padding out of the den. as he entered the clearing, he could hear Skyfeather's moans coming from the nursery, making his stomach flip. He turned, following his mate out of camp on shaky legs.

Skyfeather dropped the branch to growl at Owlscreech, "Well that may be so, but- ah! - at least she knew about it!" she snarled out, her temper getting the best of her. Her tail lashed angrily as she held back another groan. Sky would have easily gotten up and walked away if the pain hadn't made its way down her leg muscles. Everything in her hurt and she wanted it to be over three days ago.

Owlscreech rolled his eyes and shoved some herbs her way, he had found that mixed together in that way they would kill pain. he snapped "then shut up and begin eating those herbs your moaning will- ah starclans tailfeathers!". he swore he growled "you are a problem child you know that, one of your pups is coming out the wrong way, hence the extra pain. now eat those herbs! for starclans sake!". he readied the rasberry leaves. they were great for stopping blood. he lashed his tail grumpily. "Snowstorm get me borage leaves, blue flowers, starburst shaped"

Skyfeather nodded her head and lapped up the herbs. The taste was foul to her tongue but she gulped them down quickly. The fae could feel the warm blood between her legs and there was a sickening feeling in her stomach, but she pushed all thoughts away and focused only on Owlscreech and breathing.

Owlscreech, growled to himself, he gingerly reached inside the white wolf and began gently wriggling the backwards pup out. his yellow/golden eyes glittered as he worked slowly. he knew that he was going to be here for a long time as probbaly most of the pups were backwards.

Skyfeather panted more and clamped her canines on the branch again. Her eyes were screwed shut and she felt light headed with the little amount of oxygen that was staying in her system. She felt like she was breathing too fast and too hard. Sky laid her head on its side and attempted to relax her muscles and even out her breaths.

Magmafeather woke up. He left his den, letting himself feel the cold wind of that day. He felt like there was something different today. Then he heard some loud biting from the nursery. He went over and noticed Skyfeather kitting. Hmm, he thought. Skyfeather typically had more interest in illegal mating. He grabbed a nice fish off the fresh kill pile and began to eat it, looking at the kitting process from time to time.

Shadestar's eyes narrowed slightly at the reply of his once-apprentice, but stepped back as Owlscreech took over. He moved out of the way to give the healer some room and waited nearby his den. Now there was too much going on to go rest. He would wait out the birth until the end to see how she ended up. Despite the two not getting along very well, and the attitudes that the two often gave each other, Shadestar did have some form of affection towards her simply because she was once his apprentice. Her relationship with Tallfeather and then disappearance and thought-to-be-eloping did not help her case either. Sighing he watched the world go by as the sounds of Skyfeather's pain reached his ears. The leader's muscles tensed and he tried to block it out as he sat there.

Nodding to Owlscreech he back away to let him work. He glanced at Skyfeather. Then noticed the blood. He felt the air grow stuffy and trotted outside. He took deep breaths of the fresh air. He couched and little and shuttered. "I'm happy I'm not a fae." He swallowed the lump in his throat and shook his head. "Get a hold of yourself blue." he sighed and walked over to his mentor. On which he sat by. "Being a mother is definitely going to be hard for her."

Slypaw heard the noise coming from skyfeather and did not lIke it. He would have followed Bluestorm but did not want to disturb him. He waited outside untl Bluestorm came out. He followed him until he sat near another wolf. "Is she ok?" he asked worried. They needed as many fighters as possible right now.

Fangclaw was glad that his medicine wolf friend finally came to, and when he heard that the pups were backwards, well that's never a good sign. He hesitated to go into the nursery, but decided against it as it was hectic enough in there. Instead, the warrior stood next to the camp entrance, guarding the camp in case any predators decided to drop by from the strong scent of blood flowing from the nursery. Fangclaw himself was also glad to not be a female, as he could tell it was a painful process to go through. Sighing, Fangclaw stayed where he was, and kept a look out for anything or anyone that could be in harm of Skyfeather or anyone else from Stormclan.

Owlscreech managed to pull out the first pup, a grey and white one. he glanced around and gave an irritated snort. He then began rapidly licking the pups fur the backwards way. his ears pinned back as he nosed the pup over to skyfeathers belly and began helping her through the next wave of contractions.

Honeysplash padded into camp with a rat between her jaws. placing it on the fresh kill pile she flicked her tail in slight annoyance of all of the sounds of pain. Sometimes she and her brother could be alot alike. she however shrugged and decided to go into the warriors den to get some sleep. she paused glancing around for brackenpaw. she wondered where the young medicine wolf apprentice had gotten himself to. then shrugged, he was lucky yet unlucky to have Owlscreech as a mentor. Owlscreeches tempermant made even the most obstanate elder look like a cute little pup, yet Owlscreech was also well versed in Medicine wolf stuff. she padded over to the warrior den and curled up in her nest.

Glancing at his apprentice,he shrugged. "I hope so. But with all that blood,i don't really know." He sighed and snorted. Billowing out a white cloud.

Skyfeather let out a small sigh of relief as the first pup was born, but that feeling was short lived as another contraction rolled through her body. The fae was panting slightly and the only noise that came out of her was small gasps. She didn't know how she could put up with a few more birthings at the time. Her breaths felt shaky and short as she let Owlscreech help her.
