Where most of the stores in Hartford are located. These include small, family-owned stores as well as huge chain restaurants and supermarkets. Locals don't really like seeing stray dogs walking around here, and they'll be chased off on sight! Stores are located on the left and right with large parking lots and a large central street that branches off in several places.

Autumn walked along the sidewalk. At this point, she could care less if she got caught or not. She could take care of herself. She saw dogs in the distance.... hiding? With a snort, she padded over.
"Whst are you up to?" She asked. Her tail slightly twitched, but the emotion in her eyes could not be read.

Autumn watched the startled dog jump at her approach. She listened carelessly as the dog talked about stealing meat. Autumn simply raised a brow.
"Is that the best you can do? Scavenge off of those creatures?" She said in a bit of a challenging tone.
"I'm Autumn." She then said with a shrug as if it didnt matter what her name was.

Autumn watched the other dog reply, an interest sparked in her eyes. Yet that interest was not yet an approval.
"You say you can hunt, I say i can hunt and I prove it." She said with a grin. She watched a squirrel climb a tree which was located in a small patch of dirt on the block. She stalked it carefully, before she sprung at it with a sudden speed and snapped her jaws around it. She sat in the spot, dropping the rodent. Autumn then turned to Calla with a smirk and said;
"This is a true victory." She said, with mock pride in her eyes to taunt the other dog.

Autumn raised a brow. She had said impressive. Oh, impressive! Autumn could just die of laughter. This dog knew not of impressive.
"Impressive you say. I could do so much better." She said with a snort.
Hearing Calla's question, she grinned. Oh how fun this would be. A challenger. Honestly, Autumn could care less if this dog snatched her squirrel. She didnt bother to protect her catch, or drag it closer to herself. She just waited. Waited for Calla to snatch it up.
"Why don't you find out?" She said with another challenging look in her eyes.

Autumn simply shrugged at Calla. She chuckled softly to herself. Oh Calla, she was so clueless. Didn't she realize this was just a trick? A game? Autumn was simply pushing her buttons and pulling her strings. And Calla was buying in to it. If only she had the yellow fluff longpaws called popcorn, then this would be a real show.
"Nah. Im not hungry. Go ahead." She said with a smirk.

"Perhaps." She said with a shrug. She watched as Calla walked away. Autumn turned away, and as she did she said;
"I know what your doing Calla."

Autumn chuckled. She turned back and glared at Calla.
"You catch on fast. Don't you Calla?" She replied.

"Correction my dear. My breed comes from the wild. While you were domesticated we were wild. When longpaws provided food for you we provided food for our selves." Autumn snarled. Calla's comment brought her back. Back to the days when she provided for the family she had so dearly loved. How dare she. How dare she.

Anger filled Autumn up inside. Calla was destroying her. She was picking away at the mental wounds that never healed. She was filling her up with too many memories. Like the time when the longpaw pup rode on her back through the woods. Or when she brought back that trout. She remembered that night like it was yesterday, her longpaws had a good meal that night. All these memories just brought sadness upon Autumn.
"Yeah right Calla!" She snarled turning her back on the dog. Her eyes were clouded with emotion.
"Unlike you I was loved." She muttered angrily. "Unlike you i had a purpose!" She growled. Autumn turned to Calla, sobbing.
"Unlike you I rose from nothing." she said in a quiet growl.

Autumn watched Calla, her eyes showed no emotion. Calla had pushed her, pushed her to the point of no return. It was like a nightmare, that had become endless. Autumn stared at Calla, it looked as if she was staring right through her though. Everything was cold. Autumn had shattered. She was broken, she wanted to cry. But she stood there, just stood there. Calla's piercing words echoed through her ears at every moment. Her heart beat quickened. Panic, panic filled her eyes. Where this panic was coming from, Autumn did not know. But she was panicing. Was it the coldness that had filled her heart? Or was it a helpless cry to her longpaws. Her longpaws were gone. She hadn't seen them in years. Autumn's panic twisted the story around to her displeasure. Now it wasnt that they had disapeared, but now in Autumn's eyes they left her. Abandoned her. Gave her away to this fate.
"Say that again and watch what happens." Autumn said in a dangerously quiet voice.

"I may be a house pet," Autumn began "But atleast I have a heart!" Andp with that the basenji lunged foward. She didnt care if Calla killed her. Because if she did, the blame would be on her.

Autumn snarled as she realized Calla was coming at her aswell. The Basenji crouched down, then quickly slid to the side to avoid Calla's lunge. She then lunged again, and attemped to grasp Calla's back leg and throw her down.
