Where most of the stores in Hartford are located. These include small, family-owned stores as well as huge chain restaurants and supermarkets. Locals don't really like seeing stray dogs walking around here, and they'll be chased off on sight! Stores are located on the left and right with large parking lots and a large central street that branches off in several places.

She watched the two dogs communicate silently with each other, they looked close enough that Nightingale deduced that they were siblings. she stood up towering over them again, she didnt want to come between sibling bonds. "goodbye" she said simply before she turned heading out of the small area. her paws made no sound as she walked along but her claws did. they clicked neatly as she continued along. her brown eyes roved along searching for oppunities for an easy meal. as she was so big she was always alert for a cheap meal, her stomach would digest everything that it found and carried the energy to the rest of her body. the white blaze on her chest blazed a littlein the dull light. pausing out the back of a fastfood joint she snuffled around the trashcans.

Unaware of the chaos that she had caused, and the fact that she had probbaly met a new enemy she continued scrounging around through the fish scraps. chewing happily she looked up seeing a two leg. spurring into action she barked in her deep rumbly voice before she turned dashing along heading for the dump. her claws clicked on the concrete as her bark echoed around

The stray dog walked around. Two-legs had always given her trouble because of her eyes. She was so alone in the world. She saw some dogs talking.

Sophie felt out of the conversation now. She dipped her head at the white dog,and flicked her ears at Tormaline. She then padded away. Feeling bored,she sighed.
-Downtown Suberbs-

Sophie slowly padded to the shops. Then sun on her back. She blinked and kept her head low. She heard Duke's voice,and flicked her ears. She laid beside a dumpster. She stayed i the shade,and watched.

Sophie rolled her eyes and stood up. "You do know,that I know her. Shes either Flip,or Flick. Their too identical for them to tell apart." She turned her head lightly to the right. But then turned back to Duke. "And look,I came to apologize. But it seems you don't care about it." She snorted and flicked her ears.

Sophie chuckled,then sat down. "Look,I do know her. I met one of them at the pound. And the other I met later." She glanced behind him,and blinked. She then turned to Duke. She growled. "And I don't care about my complexion. I'm happy how I am. And I'm too embarrassed to say I'm pretty." She gritted her teeth at the last words. And she sunk her claws deep in the soil.

The incrediably handsome male walked apon the scene, his curved legs slim and smooth like a models legs as he placed them down. he shook out his spotted fur and blinkedhis brown eyes "well well well, there's no need to be sad, the worlds gift is here" he didnt say his name a little ashamed of it. he sat down scratching a floppy black ear before standing again and trotting over to the trashcan. his faded red collar hanging loosley about his neck. his brown eyes glittered. he took in the rather grouchy male, and the two females. he rolled his shoulders and said "hey lay off, so much for being a gentleman when you attack beautiful females who have low self esteem, for if they call themselvespretty others call them stuck up"

"yeah she obviously knows this poor damsel and since you obviously dont understand gals i suggest you take a few steps back and shut yo trap" the handsome male wrinkledhis nose "you think that you are better than others but your not! i may be incredably handsomeand charming but that dosent mean that i think im betterthan you. shut yo trap" he smirked a little, his slim body leaning against a trashcan.

Duke bared his long white fangs. Oh this spotted mutt didn't know what he was messing with. Opening his muzzle to say something, Duke turned his head slightly to Flip. His mouth shut as he looked at her and a slow forming idea clouded in his head. He calmed himself and in an even, threatening tone took two steps forward, "Watch it Spotty. You speak like a pup, you act like a pup. Rule number one, don't ever look for a fight before a hurt female." Anger showed so clearly through the males eyes, but his idea was fully formed in his head. He looked at Sophie and with a short nod, offered her a small smile. "Excuse me." He also gave Flip a nice smile, "I hope you feel better ma'am." With a last sour glance at the proud dlamation he turned tail. Sprinkles had found a fight, he'd just have to wait for it.

The Dalmatian let out an irritated snort, well that fellow was stuck up! he looked at flipand tilted his head "shes not hurt physically at all, man that doggie has no brains" he hummed a song to himself before he lay down and rested his head on its side staring at flip with heart breaking brown eyes "What is wrong my dear? anything i can help with?"

He rolled onto his back and placed his paws near his muzzle stating calmly "liar, dont bother about being polite to me. ive had worse like that bozo before." his brown eyes twinkled with merriment. his tail in the dusty ground wagged a little.

Sophie watched the Dalmatian. She snorted. "Instead of being polite. Your more of a prideful one." She rolled her eyes and sat by a dumpster not wanting to bein the middl wolf their conversation.
