Garelick Farm

Tourmaline blinked in slight surprise as she heard a nearby voice, looking down to see the familiar Yorkie she had noticed earlier. "I do live here, or at least I did before. My den is near the side of the barn, as I'm not one of those dogs who belong to the farmer." The Australian Cattle Dog replied, watching as a wolf had left and Sophie had arrived, speaking to the wolves inside. She could hear some growling, and wondered for a moment what was happening.

Stoatblaze looked up as Dusktail approached, nodding as he heard the other wolf's words. He got up to his paws, letting out another sigh; he really didn't want to leave Ripple, though if she believed he was needed in SunClan, he would do as she wanted. He was about to say 'bye' when he noticed a dog, who was growling at them. Dusktail growled back at the dog, who instead replied back. The dog mentioned something about a 'loud stick'; did she mean those strange sounds that had happened at a previous Gathering? They'd injured a WindClan wolf, and nearly injured Otterpup at the time. Stoatblaze didn't want to leave Ripplestone in danger if what the dog had said was true. The border collie had then mentioned going to a corner of the barn, saying there were some mice. "Is this... barn, I think, yours?" Stoatblaze asked at first; the dog had mentioned something about borders, and wondered if she were defending the barn because of that. "And how can we trust that we'd be safe over there?" The orange wolf added, flicking his ear towards the corner the dog had told them to go towards.

Stoatblaze looked at the dog as she spoke, saying something about her brother being a Twoleg's pet at one point, and then adding that they didn't have to believe her. Shrugging, he was wondering whether the barn was actually safe when he heard Ripplestone growl nearby him. His dark blue eyes worried, Stoatblaze looked down at her. Ripplestone's shoulder didn't seem to be healing yet; he really wished Aurorapaw or another medicine wolf could have been here. I don't suppose dogs have medicine of their own. Stoatblaze thought to himself with a slight sigh before returning to Ripplestone. "Are you sure you'd like me to go back to the camp? I'd be willing to do whatever you wanted; just be safe, either way." Stoatblaze said, trying to smile but not succeeding. He padded over to the corner of the barn, picking up some cobwebs and trying to place them on Ripplestone's injury. He could still remember the then Ripplepaw needed to be helped by Ravenpaw; though Stoatblaze had been injured from a battle, and confined to camp by his mentor, he didn't mind at the time. If only I remembered those herbs. Stoatblaze thought to himself.

Tourmaline looked up as she heard a sound, seeing Sophie had tumbled forward before growling. She didn't hear the wolves seem to be angry, or at least any angrier. Her brown-and-blue gaze went back to the Border Collie as she heard her ask a question. "I'm not quite sure." The tan-furred dog replied before looking towards the Yorkie. "Are you a pet?" Tourmaline then asked, wondering if the smaller dog was the one she'd seen in her near pack.

Stoatblaze looked up as he heard Dusktail speak, and he nodded to the other warrior. "Sure, I'll stay here until you get back." The orange-furred wolf replied; he thought it was a good idea to hunt, as Ripplestone had injured her shoulder and prey could potentially help her get better faster. Stoatblaze looked outside of the den as he heard voices, though supposed the dogs couldn't do much damage; they were different than the ones he'd fought against as an apprentice.

Stoatblaze noticed the dogs seemed to have stopped speaking, and wondered if most of them had left. He looked back to Ripplestone as he heard her walking over to him, ready to help Ripplestone if she were to stumble over and fall. As Ripplestone placed her muzzle in his pelt, Stoatblaze licked her ear, listening as he heard her mumble. "I'm not sure; I don't think you did anything wrong." Stoatblaze murmured at first. "Perhaps they just thought it was time for a different leader, though I'll always believe you were the best leader ever." Stoatblaze added, managing a slight smile as his dark blue eyes glanced at Ripplestone.

Tourmaline had glanced towards the Yorkie as she began to speak, and nodded, guessing what she meant. "I was going to join that pack." She said, listening as the other dog replied to Sophie, saying that she wasn't exactly a pet. Tourmaline supposed she could understand what Lucy meant; at one point, Tourmaline had been a house dog herself. That was a bit over a year ago, I don't need to think of that anymore. Tourmaline told herself, with a slight growl, before watching as Lucy had ran off after Sophie. Shrugging, Tourmaline padded back over to her den by the barn's side, laying down and yawning. She glanced over in the direction of the barn entrance, wondering what the Clan wolves were talking about. I wonder if all Clan wolves are rude, uncaring warriors that fight anything that places paw on their borders? The Australian Cattle Dog thought to herself. She had heard the wolves growling earlier, so she thought it could still be possible. As much as she didn't want to admit it, Tourmaline was a bit curious about the Clans that she disliked.

Tourmaline blinked as she heard a wolf speaking, looking up as one of the wolves introduced herself as Ripplestone. The cattle dog wondered how to reply for a moment, before her blue and brown eyes looked over at the wolf. "Er, hi; I'm Tourmaline. I'm alright, I was just... curious, I suppose, on what you wolves were doing here at the farm, or what Clans are really like I suppose." Tourmaline replied, her tone slightly careless like usual. She was interested in learning more about these wolves; this one didn't seem to be really mean, at least.

Tourmaline listened as Ripplestone continued speaking, saying she had wanted a break from the Clans. Wolves can actually stay away from their Clans? I wonder what made her want a break; were the other wolves mean? Tourmaline thought to herself, looking up as Ripplestone spoke once more. Tourmaline blinked in surprise as the wolf had mentioned that the Clans had a code, especially one with honor and loyalty; and was even more surprised when Ripplestone said that SunClan had taken in a dog. Ripplestone had then introduced the other wolf who was still in the barn; Tourmaline recalled seeing two of the other wolves leave earlier. "The Clans certainly sound interesting... are all wolves like you, or are some fierce and uncaring?" Tourmaline asked next; she remembered meeting some wolves of a supposedly different Clan that hadn't been so friendly towards her several months ago.

Chico padded into the area wearing a little tshirt with palm trees on it. "Hello lovelies!" He said happily, interrupting the conversation. "Espania was just fab-u-lous and don't get me started on the clothes shops! I bought this cute little shirt there and the beach was just per-fect." Chico sat down, his new collar that was studded with fake diamonds gleamed in the light. "I do see new faces!" Chico barked with a smile on his face. "And when there is new dogs we have a par-tay. FABIO BRING IN THE DISCO BALL." He talked into the fake plastic phone attached to his collar.

Stoatblaze's dark blue eyes had glanced towards the barn entrance as he heard one of the dogs speaking. Ripplestone had replied to the cattle dog's questions; the orange warrior wondered if the dog were interested in joining or learning more about the Clans. Hearing a new voice, Stoatblaze wondered if another dog had come over. The new voice didn't sound threathening, however, so he supposed that the other dog was friendly. I wonder how many dogs live on this... farm, I think it's called. The warrior wondered to himself. He also wondered how SunClan, and especially Rainheart were; he did know he had to go back sometime, though for now he was still unsure when.
