Fourtrees #2

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

For this gathering, we will also be visiting an abandoned carnival. The topic will be opened once it is mentioned by Shadestar and everyone travels there.

Russetpup stood up, wagging his tail mischievously. He went into play-bow position, smiling happily at Rainpup. "You're it!" He replied, bouncing back and forth in front of the female playfully.

She smiled, and growled playfully. She jumped over Russetpup and pawed him softly. "No you're it!" She ran in a circle.

Russetpup's eyes glinted playfully, leaping back and forth in front of the female. He watched as she gracefully leapt over him, and pawed him.

"No, you're it!"

He too growled in a friendly manner. "Not for much longer!" The pup replied, chasing her around and around in the same circle.

Rain yelped happily and ran faster. She wasn't very fast but she tried to be. She laughed as Russetpup gave chase.

Russetpup wasn't very fast either, and so struggled to catch Rainpup. "I'm going to get you!" He called playfully, pretending to snap at her heels.

Rainpup laughed, "Not if I can help it!" She turned around suddenly and ran the other way.

Russetpup was confused for a second when the female turned quickly. He struggled to turn, making a little line in the dirt. "I'm catching up!" he called, picking up his pace.

Rainpup looked back, and didn't see the stick in front of her. She tripped with a small thud. She rolled over and looked up, panting and giving up.

Russetpup stopped when he saw Rainpup roll over. At first he didn't know if she was hurt, but she seemed okay.
He was panting like mad, and he sat down next to the female. "I give up," he panted, between breaths. "You're fast."

She looked at him rolling on the floor a bit. The black female pawed at him, "Me too, I give up." She kept panting and looking at the stars.

Russetpup laid down on his back, pawing at the moon, high overhead. "StarClan's up there," he murmured. "I wonder how many wolves are up there...." He shuffled around in the grass to get comfortable.

Rainpup looked up, "I have no idea, but I have no intention on dying soon so I won't know for a while." She sighed happily. She looked around twisting her head this way and that, "I wonder when the gathering will begin."

Russetpup nodded. "Me either, much nicer down here." He looked up, trying to spot any movement from the adults. "Me too......I'm excited. It's fun to meet other pups from other clans."

Rainpup yawned and sighed, "I think I will take a nap." she rolled over and layed her head on her paws, her eyes sparkling.

Russetpup nodded, feeling a little tired himself. "Okay," he said, and he rolled upwards so he was sitting upright. He watched the adults move about. Maybe I could talk to one... He was a little shy of the other clans, so he didn't know if he should or not.

Rainpup, watched Russetpup. She chuckled, "Do you want to talk to someone? I can go with you." She sat up.

Russetpup looked down at Rainpup. "Yeah, why not?" He replied, getting up. "If you're fine with it," he added quickly.

Tallpup nodded solemnly, understanding Skypaw's lack of answer. The prospect of being in the same place as their feigned deaths that had happened mere days before wasn't very promising, so instead of pursuing the conversation further, Tallpup slumped down onto all fours and scanned the clearing. Nothing out of the ordinary -- pups and apprentices wandering, warriors talking, leaders bunching together to prepare for the gathering. Tallpup was just blinking in boredom when he noticed Apachepaw and Lightningpaw talking to Shadestar, and his eyes instantly followed theirs, coming to rest on a tattered object hanging above them, waving idly in the wind. Staring at it in curiosity, Tallpup wondered what it could be.

Rainpup pushed Russetpup slightly, "Of course it s fine, c'mon." she scampered ahead, head high.

Russetpup watched as Rainpup went on ahead. "Wait up!" he yelped, getting up quickly and following the female. "Okay, who should we go to talk to?"
He was a little nervous, but he felt better knowing he was with Rainpup, who always seemed sure of things like that.

Rainpup waited and looked around. She shrugged, "I don't know. You choose." She looked at Russetpup and waited sitting down.

Russetpup looked around, trying to find someone. "Is this your first gathering, or do you know some people already?" he asked. He gathered that she hadn't, but he was asking anyway.

Rainpup shook her head sadly, "Nope but we can meet new wolves together." She smiled knowing she would meet others with a friend.

Russetpup smiled at Rainpup, glad she was here. "Cool," he replied, looking around. "Let's find someone," he added, looking around. "Who knows, maybe ThunderClan aren't the only clan who have allowed pups to come."

Rain looked around, she spotted a small wolf, maybe a pup looking up at the flag. "what about him?"
