Fourtrees #2

First topic message reminder :

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

For this gathering, we will also be visiting an abandoned carnival. The topic will be opened once it is mentioned by Shadestar and everyone travels there.

I nod. "Okay," I reply, and I start walking towards the male. "C'mon," he added to the female, stopping to allow her to catch up.

Rain prances up and walks with Russet up to the male. She goes straight up to him, "hello!"

Lightningpaw looked up at the flag, also trying to guess how far away it was and how long it would take her to get to it. She agreed with her leader in the idea of going to investigate it. /I may be able to fight something, or better.../ she thought, not finishing her thought but knowing what the end of it would have been. She looked darkly up at the flag, it flapping in the air. Soon however she grew bored of this, realizing that she would have to wait. She took another step toward Apachepaw and nudged him slightly to get his attention. "So what should we do? We can't go investigate that flag yet but I'm growing bored of just sitting here." She said standing right next to him, her fur just barely touching his.

Featherpup watched as Rainpup and Russetpup chased one another around. I'm a bit to tired for running right now... she thought to herself. She padded after them silently as they weaved in and out of the other wolves. She sat down near them as they started talking with the other wolf, and watched.

(Ha I know right.)
Rainpup turned back to look at Feather, she smiled. The black female signaled to her friend to sit next to her, as her eyes gleamed with happiness.

Featherpaw trotted over to Rainpup and sat down beside her, smiling. It was nice she had company at her first gathering.

Rainpup smiled as Featherpup came over, she nudged her playfully. Her eyes sparkled and her black pelt shone.

Russetpup saw Rainpup run off to see Featherpup, and he followed; he wasn't going to introduce himself by his own to complete strangers.
"Hi Featherpup," he greeted the female, wagging his tail. "How are you?" he sat down near them, his golden, amber fur dusty from the game of chase.

"Hi Russetpup," she barked playfully. "I feel like doing something fun,"

(were all eating cheese xD jk, we found a to leg flag and were talking to each other while we wait for the gathering to begin, while throwing CHEESE!!!! lol)

Skypaw kept her eyes downcast as the other wolves around her talked. She perked her ears up slightly when they began to talk about something -a flag Shadestar had called it. She didn't look up at the object in question and instead scooted closer to Tallpup.

Apachepaw shifted his gaze from the flag to his companion sitting next to him as she spoke about doing something rather then just sitting, Apache quite enjoyed just sitting and thinking but his rather active friend needed something to do our else risk dieing of boredom. "Very well," he said, "What should we do?"

Lightningpaw thought for a moment. "Honestly if this wasn't the gathering, I'd either go check out that flag or I would just take a good run through the territory. But I guess we can't do that now." She sighed. "I don't know. There anything you want to do?" She asked, starting to think of just finding a shadowed spot to lie in until the gathering started.

The male cocked his head, "Sit and contemplate the wonder of the universe, marvel at the strength and persistence of the tiny ant, watch the water flow carving its way through the land, learn as much as I possibly can, or talk to a few girls and see a smile brighten their face.....Nothing all that interesting." he said with an amused grin, nudging her with his nose.

Rainpup looked at Featherpup, ""Me too, but what?"

Russetpup wagged his tail. "Me too! I really want the gathering to start......" he gets up, bouncing up and down. "I don't feel tired yet and I just want to do something!" Russetpup was full of energy, and the small pup wanted something to do.

Rainpup nodded in agreement and looked around, she observed that others were examining the flag, she frowned and shrugged. "Hmmm."

Russetpup stopped bouncing, but instead shifted from paw to paw. He looked up at the adults. "RiverClan's here, and so is ShadowClan, and so is WindClan, and we're here," he said. "So why isn't it starting?" This last question was really to himself, and he mused it thoughtfully. "So what do you both want to do? We could go exploring." Russetpup was full of energy, and hated sitting around doing nothing.

Rainpup, looked around. She frowned a bit as there was no obvious thing to do. The black female stood up and walked around her paws getting itchy to do something. She looked back at the other two pups. "Want to get closer to that thing?'

Russetpup looked at the thing again, not entirely trusting it. However, his curious side of his personality won out. "Okay," he replied, shaking his golden brown fur. "Featherpup, are you coming?"

She looked back at Featherpup who seemed distracted at the moment. "She can come when she's done." She walked up to the thing and looked at it closely thinking it was amazing.

Russetpup nodded. "Sure." He trotted after his friend. The small pup looked up at the object, which looked suspiciously like a piece of moss attached to a stick. He sniffed it, smelling twolegs. He wrinkled his nose at the smell, but it was musty and old. The humans must not have been near it for a long while. Maybe it's been here for ages, but everyone else hasn't noticed it.....
Musing, he looked at the ebony she-pup. "What do you think it's used for?" he asked her, pawing at the stick curiously. All his concern about the safety of the object had gone, as he figured it would have attacked by now.

Rainpup pondered it for a while, "Maybe it was for signaling things, look how tall it is." she jumped at the thing bouncing off of it. She growled, "Or maybe it's just there to be annoying." She pawed the thing again. She growled with frustration not knowing what it was for. she looked at Russet in absolute confusion.

Russetpup saw Rain's confusion, and felt the same way. "Probably the latter," he replied. He went up onto his hind legs, balancing before putting one paw on the stick for balance. The pup snapped at the flying moss thing, but he couldn't reach that high. He came down to earth with a small thump.
