Fourtrees #4

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Swiftpaw chuckled "As far is I know I'm the only male apperentice I think." He smirked at the pretty brown pelted female, "So have you ever been to a gathering before heatherpaw?" Swiftpaw asked dropping he's gaze at the floor.

Magmafeather noticed Shadowclan's late arrival and snorted. They were so lazy. The other clans had arrived long ago, and Shadowclan was stumbling in like they were on time. But, then again, he thought, what could you expect, what with Shadestar breaking the truce some moons ago when they had explored the carnival? He hoped Shadowclan would hurry up and get here. The shorter a gathering was, the better.

Heatherpaw turned her gaze back to Swiftpaw, "yes, though only once I believe. How about yourself?" Her ear flopped over to the side slightly as she gave a small, questioning tilt of her head. Through her periferal vision, she could see the clearing stedily filling up with more wolves, now resembleing something more like a sea of them instead of a small crowd like before. Though faintly, the scent of ShadowClan tainted the air, and a few familiar dark shapes flitted around the clearing, but when she looked up at Greatrock, the bulky shape of Shadestar remained ilusive. Where could he be? She asked herself before letting her gaze land softly on Swiftpaw once more.

"Erm this is my first time really I think its really cool... Plus its not like I ever get to talk to a stunning sweetheart such as yourself so its a bonus for me. " He smiled, "where could who be?" Swiftpaw asked looking in the direction of the leaders. Was everyone waiting for someone or did something bad happen, Swiftpaw looked back and heatherpaw. "So who's your leader up there." Swiftpaw asked looking directly into her eyes.

Upon closer look, Tallfeather realized that not only was Skypaw [skyfeather now? I DONT KNOW] absent from the gathering, but also the whole of Shadowclan. Curiosity flared in him as his eyes raked across the crowded clearing, and he wondered where the clan could have gotten to. Perhaps they were just late; Tallfeather grinned to himself when he pictured Shadestar turning up in the middle of the other leaders speaking and having to profusely embarass himself by apologizing to all the other leaders. It was an appealing thought; Tallfeather was so indulged in the min-fantasy that he didn't notice the Thunderclan pup creeping stealthily up behind him.

Direpaw walked over to heatherpaw and flattened his ears a little at the annoying thudnerclan wolf. he smirked faintly at the thundeclan wolf, his unusual blood red eyes fixing apon the wolf with a stare. he said calmly "hello heatherpaw whos the suitor?" his eyse narrowed at the thunderclan wolf. he should know better than to flirt with a wolf from another clan, especially windclan. direpaws claws ached to rip the other wolf into complete shreds.

Since the introductions were done and nothing else was said to Eviepup, she had resumed position in a hunters crouch. Her belly had wiggled upon the terrain, the cool grass tickling her fur strands. Eviepup's ears were pressed towards her cranial as her left paw had lifted only to press unto the surface. With a wiggle of her rump within the air, Eviepup, had indeed leaped to what seemed to be 4 inches off the terrain. That wonderful playful attitude had kicked in, since she was about 3 and a half tail lengths away from Tallfeather. So the pounce would indeed land, and land with a loud plop upon his back if her were not to move.

"Imma tag yew!"

Lunapaw turned her head and regarded eviepup. she smiled slightly inhaling the cool night air, she chuckled some what watching the youngpup before turning her head back to watching the moon. she smiled calmly the moon always seemed to take away her problems. shifting her gaze away from the moon she stared up at the stars, wondering which star was the warrior moonsong. her mother, she frowned and glanced around wondering if her big brother phoenixfire was here yet. she noticed him over among some other wolves, his flaming pelt always made him stand out, she smiled a little remembering her ceremony and how proud he had been of her. it had been evident in his eyes. flopping down onto her belly resting her head on her paws she felt complete.

SnowFlower went to direpaw and heatherpbyeaw after hearing his words, "hey,hwy,hey, what's wrong here."she said.

Direpaw said nothing just glared at the thunderclan apprentice he hissed softly "you arent the only male apprentice pup, and if anything im bigger than you" his eerie blood red eyes stared into the other male apprentices eyes. one of his ears tilted back to snowflower and he said "nothing, just a thunderclan apprentice being a flirt" he snorted. shades of a reddish colour had begun to appear on his fur a few days earlier. he was beginning to look like a rather ferocious wolf. he glanced at heatherpaw with a faint look of worry in his eyes.

Noticing more shadowclanners on the horizon she groaned
It was already morning and shade still hasn't come
She then noticed a pup she then wandered the clearing which surrounded the four great oaks

"I'm not quite sure I'm guessing Shadestar is running very late or something has happend." She said regreting her last words. Her tail twitched in annoyance as different conversations whizzed past her ears. All the pelts made her felt dizzy she didn't really enjoy these large congested meetings. But meeting new people was always nice and a good way to examine how the other clans behaved. But she wished to go back to camp and live their usual hunting and border checking every once and awhile. Sighing to herself she just smirked at the two pups and once Graystar spoke tonight they wouldn't be pups any longer. Her heart soared as she thought of mentoring of one of the two young Riverclan pups.

Noticing another wolf she went over and said "hey i'm guessing your riverclan,i'm hawkpool,and you are?"

Skypaw padded into the clearing with her tail low and her ears pinned against her head. She wasn't in the mood for socializing or greeting any other wolves. She didn't really know why she was upset and cranky, all she knew was that she was and it didn't seem to leave her.

Echosong sat quietly and waited, her eyes calmly gazing around the clearing. The fact that the Shadowclan leader had yet to appear troubled her, but she stayed silent. The breeze is starting to get chilly, She remarked. I'm going to have to get Featherpaw to the mothermouth as soon as I can, before the snow. She sighed, thinking of all the herb collecting she would have to do, in order to reach them before the frost. She gave herself a mental note to collect as much catmint as she could find.

Noticing a windclan wolf she shruged. She then said "hello" seeming she was not paying attention she signed. Later she bumped into the windclan wolf. She then said "hi im hawkpool who might you be windclanner". She felt odd and secrative. She then noticed the tree above then with crimson leaves drifting in the wind.

Since Tallfeather had somehow amazingly dodged her pounce her directed path was into the paws of Echosong. With a slight 'Ooof' sound escaping her, she had shaken her head. Eviepup's tail thumped along the terra in an excited manner before it had tilted towards the right. "Sorry!" Her eyes had glanced up and down Echosong, though she seemed a tad nervous.

Echosong stared down at the pup before her with kind eyes. "Hello, Eviepup. Are you alright?" she asked the little Thunderclan pup. A gust of wind blew through the clearing, and she fluffed her pelt, trying to keep warm. She tilted her head, waiting for her response.

Feeling that gentle breeze sweep past her made her shiver some. She never liked cold weather so she was going to hate this leaf-bare. Her eyes had darted upwards to meet the gaze of Echosong before flowing words left her. "Yes, I think. Just cold and hungry, when is this thingy going to start?" Her paws shuffled some scooting herself deeper inside the warming pelt of Echosong. Maybe it was going to snow this night, or perhaps it was just the way she was around cold weather. Shaking her had, she had allowed some dirt to fling off her white pelt. Her fluffed plume had settled over her paws as she glanced at the other clanners. She had some come to her during her time here at fourtrees, though it was only some. She wanted to feel welcomed with ThunderClan and she didn't feel it for some reason.

Shaking thoughts away her wolfhood natural ADHD kicked in again as her eyes darted across the clearing. Something stirred in her pelt as she can feel something approach. She didn't know what though.

Featherpaw looked down at Ripplepup, regarding Echosong leaving to go who knows where. She sat down, looking into the pup's eyes with her own round, black pools that shown like two tiny moons. "The Moonstone...." she began, her gaze clouding. Lost in thought, she shook her head, clearing her thoughts. "Where do i begin?" she wondered aloud. She glanced back at the pup again, clearing her throat to begin.

Shadepaw was a shadow like creature of his mentor Skydust. He watched, listened, observed and followed him everywhere. It wasn't like he was timid or shy without his mentor to be near him, but to learn, but then he noticed Ravenpup. Probably now a paw, she had mentioned last gathering about medicine. He rushed over, "Ravenpaw, is it Ravenpaw now? I became a medicine wolf apprentice!" He exclaimed.

Ravenpup looked up from her thought and smiled in congratulations "well done Shadepaw, no im still ravenpup" her eyes filled with a worry and she glanced back down at her paws. thinking deeply about what had been happening back at home. she glanced back up at him her pelt brushing in the breeze, she had scrambled out from under blackhawk only moments before so she was still feeling the cold slightly. she blinked and murmured "may starclan guide us" her eyes shone with the want to be a medicine wolf.
