Fourtrees #4

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Hearing moon's voice she quickly discarded her rabbit and licked her muzzle then ran towars her voice then she finally bumped into her

"Hello! I'm ShadowClan! What clan are you?" She asked kindly. She was never mean or rude to other clans unless in a battle, but she needn't worry about that until she was an apprentice or warrior right? She wondered why she was blind like though. she held her tongue.

Finally recovering from the colition she shook her hhead and nuzzled moon and said " hello moon its so good to see you and apparently its moonpaw now,isn't it" she smiled. Hse had missed the young feline. Ever since they met they both always shared a word or two together.

Direpaw smiled faintly "before they were a bluey brown remember?" he sighed and licked his chest, glancing over at shadowpup he said "im Direpaw of windclan" he flicked his tail shuffling his paws his blood red gaze eeriee. his ears flicked around as he glanced down again the hatered towards the world building up in him. he felt cold, fluffing up his fur he glared over at heatherpaw and Swiftpaw. he supposed it was because they had gone to the carnival together, he hadnt been allowed to go to that he was too young then.

Noticing another apprentice she sighed and said "well it seems we will have many warriors soon won't we" she smied. It eas always good to have more warriors

Blackhawk sighed loudly, he wasn't the kind of brute that would go out and just say hi. He sat there bored, "Ugh this gathering is taking forever to start!" He grumbled to himself as he paced in a small circle. A sudden wind blew through the clearing and it chilled him to his core. He shivered and his ears lied flat. How he hated the cold, he would prefer to have thick pelt on the hottest day of Summer than go through cold.

Noticing blackhawk having a chill she padded over and said "hey,you ok blackhawk?" She was curious what he had done during the gathering

Blackhawk looked up at Hawkpool. He gave her a weak smile. "I'm fine really." He chuckled nervously and looked around. "How are ya Hawkpool?" He avoided her gaze as he looked around the clearing hoping, wishing for Shadestar to appear.

Heatherpaw frowned. "You mean Direpaw?" She turned her head in the direction of her Clanmate, her paws tugging with the urge to go over to him, but her heart telling her to stay put. "I don't know...D'you think i should go over and see if he is alright?" She scuffed the ground lightly with her paw, wondering what Swiftpaw would say in response. The brown apprentice smiled at the pup and spoke with an interested and exciting tone, "Ohh, ok then." She wiggled to her paws so that she was now in a sitting position, and looked down at the pup, with the wild though friendly look in her eyes, like some storytellers might have. "Highstones are those huge mountains over there." She gestured to them with a flick of her tail. "In them, there is a place called Mothermouth, which is the entrance to a dark tunnel that snakes through the mountain and opens up into a massive cave." She paused for a moment before continuing, "And inside the cave is the Moonstone. It's a large piece of stone that glows like the moon when moonlight touches it, and Medicine wolves use it to communicate with StarClan." A smile remained on her face the whole time that she spoke, still not fading even when when she had finished her small lecture.

SnowFlower was standing next to them the whole time, "Yes, he does care about all the pack members just as much as I do, so, I suggest you go and apologize to him."she frowned and padded towards PhoenixFire and Tallfeather, "Hey, what's up?"she said.

"Yes i think you should go and check on him i dont why he is that upset though." Swiftpaw smiled. "I'll be here if you want to talk again." he said to heatherpaw looking towards the red eyed male.

A yawn fled Eviepup's vocals, she was tired and everyone knew it. This may have been her first gathering but it was taking a toll on her. She wanted a warm spot to lay down since Echosong was busy chatting with another. Since Swiftpaw had finished speaking she wanted to lay next to him and curl up. Her paws bounded her towards Swiftpaw, being half a tail lengths away she had stopped to shake her pelt. Her tail wiggling just after her body shook. Pressing her nose towards his left flank she tried to get his attention, basically saying 'cuddle' with me.

Heatherpaw chuckled and voiced teasingly, " I'll be back alright. How could I not when I get to talk to you?" She gave him one last warm blue glance before bounding swiftly over to where Direpaw, Moonpaw and an unfamiliar Shadowclan pup where sitting. She slowed her pace as she gradually got closer, until she was walking along at a steady pace, her ears back slightly as she looked at Direpaw. Is he really angry at me? She mused silently as she made her way along. Well, I guess there is only one way to find out.

Skypaw sat in the shadows, her tail slapping back and forth on the ground behind her as she waited for the gathering to begin. She couldn't understand what was taking her leader so long to get to Fourtrees. Maybe he just didn't care what others thought if he was late. Sky snorted, Shadestar really wasn't the kind to care what others thought of him. With a small humph the female pawed at the ground.

Ripplepups eyes widened in wonder. there was so much land beyond camp that it blowed her mind. she lay on her side musing about all the diferent things in the world. when im bigger im going to explore them all!. she though drowzily to herself.

The grumpy apprentices blood red eyes flicked over to heatherpaw as she began making her way over. he rolled his eyes and turned his head away. if she wanted to go carvourting around with thunder clan wolves then she could, but when it all turned to custard she wouldnt find him there waiting to be ! he shivered a little in the cold and moved closer to moonpaw sharing his warmth with her and sharin gher warmth. his blood red eyes blinked up at the highrock. where was shadestar? he was takin far to long! they should just ignore him and start now! his ears tilted back.

Swiftpaw watch heatherpaw walk off, he felt the chill in the night breeze. He then looked around to see where he's clan was and if any of them where close by.

Phoenixfire flicked his tail as he yawned, his eyes half shut from laziness, he snorted and glanced over at swiftpaw, he grinned a little "bit of a chilly night for a gathering isnt it swiftpaw" he chuckled a little then fluffed up his firey pelt. it made him look like a big giant marshmellow or pompom. his ears flickered around hoping to hear shadestars usual miligant footsteps.

"Yeah its is, do you think the gathering will start without the shadowclan leader?" Swiftpaw asked the Thunderclan deputy with a bit of worry in he's tone.

(Basically Were all waiting for Shadestar)

Moonpaw pressed up against Direpaw, shivering. "It's starting to get cold," she remarked. Scenting Heatherpaw coming their way, she turned to 'look' at him. "I wonder what Heatherpaw wants," she said absentmindedy. Another cold gust of wong blew through the clearing, and she pressed closer to Direpaw. Realsing what she was doing, she straightened herself quickly and glanced at him sheepishly.

Phoenixfire shrugged and said "it depends what the leaders think, if they get sick of waiting they might just not wait for him and start without him. it might sour the shadow clan wolves a little though so im not really sure" privatley he thought that the leaders probbaly would end up waiting for shadestar, as it was protocol afterall. he shifted his paws a little and yawned.
