Fourtrees #4

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

She felt him shrug against her "i dont know" he didnt mind moonpaw being close to him, she was one of the few wolves these days he would tolerate. hollowfang was being distant, heatherpaw he didnt trust much anymore because of her behaviour with a thunderclan wolf. he blinked his blood red eyes and sighed a little shivering slightly also "leaf bare is coming" he chuckled a little to himself and flicked his tail "when we get back ill help you make your nest in the apprentice den if you want"

Moonpaw blinked in gratitude. She was gratefull that he hadnt metioned her awkwardness, an nodded her head. "That would be great," she said happily. He was one of the few wolves he didnt mind helping her. Only him and Heatherpaw could make her feel like she wasnt helpless.

Swiftpaw looked over to see if heatherpaw had finished talking to the male, as he looked he saw another wolf cuddled right next to him. Swiftpaw yawned starting to feel tired he got up and stretched out and quickly sat next to the side of the tree close to where he was sitting.

He smiled and said "you can sleep between me and heatherpaw if you want so that way you have two really familliar wolves with you at night!" he grinned and gently poked her with his nose, she made him feel less cold within. he ignored heatherpaw coming over towards them and continued talking to moonpaw, "if there is anything i can do to help you moonpaw you have to let me know ok? we are friends after all!" he chuckled "remember im Direstar of dark clan and you are my loyal deputy! moonshine!"

Moonpaw grinned. "Sounds good to me!" A shadow passed over her face, and she turned to him sadly. "But if I'm a deputy, I could never let myself like anyone." She shook her head, as if to rid it of the thought. "It wouldent matter though, no one would share the same feelings with me." She gave a nervous laugh, and shook her head.

Direpaw said calmly "there is no rules against a deputy having feelings she just cant have pups" he turned his head and gently nuzzled moonpaw "besides im sure you could just step down from deputy while you were looking after the pups then go back to being deputy!" he grinned a little his blood red eyes not as cold as normal and seemingly happy.

Heatherpaw trudged forward with a heavy heart, her tail dragging across the ground and her ears pinned to her head. Seeing Moonpaw and Direpaw huddled up together, against the wind, made her feel ever colder. She sat down a few tail lengths away from the two with her head hung sadly. Had she really just lost one of her most trusted friends, by speaking to a ThunderClan wolf? She looked up faintly to see Direpaw turn away, as if refusing to acknowledge her existance. Her heart ached all the more at the sight and she looked back down at the ground, drowned in her sorrow and thoughts.

Moonpaw chuckled. "Yeah. And I suppose it's not a real clan, so the warrior code could be a bit different." She smiled, and had a sudden longing to see. To see the moon shining above them. To see the trees swaying. To see Direpaw. She shook her head, disgusted with herself. She should embrace this new life.

Since Swiftpaw left her side, she had shaken some. Every time she sat near another they would move or forget she was there. Grunting in a loud town, she had risen to her paws only to stride towards another tree of sorts. Sitting next to that very tree she had glanced outwards towards the sky of glittering stars. Perhaps she was un-welcomed, that since she was a pup, she didn't know what was going on. In fact she did, and she didn't like it what so ever. Her tail flick abruptly upon the terra. Tonight she wanted to be alone, until the gathering was officially over because once she arrived at her home, she was going to stay distant for a very long time.

Swiftpaw got up and walked over to the heatherpaw on he's way he had forget that he was with eviepup he nudged her to come with him, he was watching from a distance and saw that she didn't look happy as she was quite some distance away from the other two. "What's the matter heatherpaw?" Swiftpaw asked trying to look her in the eyes.

Heatherpaw felt a suddend warmth grow inside her at the sound of Swiftpaw's voice, though when he spoke, her answer was short and simple. "I don't know..." She let her eyes look into his momenteraly before she tore them reluctantly away again, shutting with tightly, as if excpecting to wake up in her nest in her territory, to find that this was all just a strange dream. But when her eyes reopened, she was met by the sight of the Four Oaks, surrounded by all the Clans of the forest. She let out a small but meaningful sigh. What was she supposed to do?

"Heatherpaw?" Moonpaw called out, hearing her voice not to far away. "Are you alright...?" You sound...different." Her voice was full of concern. She didnt want one of her best friends to be upset, and waited for her answer.

( I hope you know I already moved away from where you were..)

Eviepup was fixing to lay down when something black flickered over the stars, who knows what it was for it made no sounds. All it was, was, just a big black object. Wiggling herself some she had hunkered down as a chill ran up her spin. Where were her friends, someone to keep her warm at night. Everyone else had someone why not her? Several questions racked through her mind as she huffed. I need no one, except myself. She thought, her eyes seemed to drift close yet stayed opened. The cold was affecting her in some type of way.

Skypaw looked up at the sound of one of the leaders voices. Graystar if she correctly placed it. At the words of waiting or not waiting for her leader her fur bristled and she stood up. "We will wait for Shadestar," she said as calmly as she could though it struggled her. All her pent up emotions were making her uneasy.

(I feel like a rebel for talking to Gray like that xD)

Skypaw looked Graystar in the eyes for a moment before nodding her head and sitting back down. Her fur ruffled once before lying flat against her body. Sky tried to get her body to relax and quit tensing but her blood was pounding through her veins, making her pulse throb. If only Shadestar would hurry up so she could do something about it without doing something stupid.

Saying "i'm fine blackhawk" she smiled then got up and bid farewell.
She then went over to the leaders and said "do any of you know why shade isn't here or what happened?"

Sighing she slowly sat up and gave a quick lick to Snowpaw's cheek. Before yawning widely stretching her jaw until the tingling of sleep faded.

Noticing another white wolf she shruged then said again "are we going to wait for shade,hes.....hes just like diappeared....." She then looked towards shadowclan territory and felt a rush of wind in her fur. She had a unusual sparkle in her eye. Then looked at the rising sun. She then groaned miserably.

SnowFlower went over to Eviepup, "I am used to the cold, so I will give you some warmth."she said and curled her soft bushy tail around Eviepup.

Shadowpup heard the words of Hawkpool. Now there was an uncomfortable look in his eyes. He had to be weary of what he said. He had seen Shadestar acting weird at camp. As if he had no idea what the clans were. But his eyes could not hide the worry.

Feeling the comfort of SnowFlower a small murr escaped Eviepup. She was happy for once, finally. She was also warm and snugly, she still however waited for this thing to start whenever it would. So she could go home and sleep, though her lids drifted closed as her head leaned upon SnowFlower.

SnowFlower smiled as the pup fell asleep. She was still waiting for Shade star to appear but since she was patient, she didn't say a word about it out loud.

Rainstar nodded, "Of course we have to wait, maybe they ran into a bit of trouble." The leader shrugged, still a bit curios and growing impatient. Her ear flicked as Graystar exchnaged words with Sky. Had she spoken to her like that the young leader might have snapped. A loud sigh came from deep within the wolf as she looked around.
