Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Noticing hawkpool mutter a few words. He wondered on how starclan was to help cats in the forests. Then he noticed some other wolves talking ot each other (snowpaw and silverheart). He shrugged and waited for the next leader to speak.

SnowFlower stood there and listened as every leader spoke, she quietly woke up the little pup that was all curled up in her tail, she looked around to see that Shadestar had arrived. "That's strange, why isn't he saying anything?"she wondered to herself and listened to Russetstar and Graystar as they spoke.

Tallfeather didn't answer Skypaw right away, just found himself burying his muzzle against her neck and breathing in the familiar, soothing scent. God it had been a long time since they'd last seen each other -- and that whole situation had ended in total failure. After a moment he sat back, staring at the she-wolf before him for one long moment before snapping out of his reverie and processing her question. "Fine," He said hurriedly, not giving the answer any thought. "How have you been?"

Shadepaw kept glancing slightly at Silverheart. there was something about her. But what? He didn't focus on that. But more of like why was Shadestar not speaking now. He pondered both for a second.

Her eyes flickered around the clearing landing on a young apprentice. Nearly her size but he smelled different like, Windclan. She just smirked burying her muzzle in her paws silently. She had felt hot embarrassment wash over her as she kept earning glances. Her pelt quivered as she realized Snowpaw was acting just the same as the Windclan apprentice sneaking glances always keeping a careful eye on her.

Shadepaw's attention snapped away as he cast a glance to see her glancing at him. what was he doing? Why was he looking at her? She was Riverclan, he was WindClan. His attention back on the leaders, but his mind swaying away.

SnowFlower padded over to Shade paw, "what's wrong?"she asked.

Sighing as he peeled his gaze away. She felt insecure now and it didn't feel good. Sneezing softly she pawed her nose. Then leading her gaze back up to the leaders. Hopefully the shared glances didn't mean anything.....

Shadepaw was shocked by Snowflower's sudden appearance. ""N-Nothing." He replied, his eyes full of confusion though. His thoughts swan down the deepest trench, through the largest field. He was simply a fish in the ocean, a wolf in the wild. But there was something else. what? He couldn't be sure, she he continued to gaze forward, his mind lost in thought.

Noticing another wolf glancing at a riverclan wolf. He then remembered at warrior code. He muttered a few words Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle. He acknoledged the code,and would never take another clan's wolf as a mate. He snarled at the thought. He then looked at them in digust and whispered i hope that never happens to me... he then shook his head ro clear his thoughts. Then looked up at the leaders.

As Magmafeather listened to Russetstar speak, he noticed Skyfeather and Tallfeather creeping away out of the corner of his eye. Believing he was imagining things, he ignored it at first, and waited through Graystar's Speech. But as Graystar finished, he decided to had to investigate, he felt as if the clans were in danger. Besides, the last thing he felt like doing was listening to Shadestar speak. So, he looked around a bit. He could not even catch a hint of Tallfeather's or Skyfeather's voice. However, they had gone off to the left of fourtrees. He calmly crept off, hoping to figure out why these wolves had to talk in secret.

Direpaw flicked his tail and leant against moonpaw he sighed breathing in her familiar sweet scent and felt comfortable. he smiled happily she would never judge him for the colour of his eyes, or the coldness in his soul. he stuck his nose into her ears and gave a low woof. the leaders he didnt really care about. at this point in time, moonpaw was his world and all he needed was her.

Ripplepup swelled with pride as she heard Graystar announce her name with the others, her eyes sparkled wonder, she would be an apprentice soon! she bounced up and down hardly able to wait, she glanced over at silverheart and smiled, it was good to see the beautiful warrior happy! she glanced down at her own paws and sighed a little, she would never gain another wolves attention, not with her weirdness of being scared of the water. she flickered her ears and sighed with slight depresssion, the happiness of being named a soon to be apprentice having vanished. her heart sunk to her paws and she glanced up at the moon miserably. even the moon had the stars around it. starclan was her destiny to be alone?

An icy breeze swept across the gathering and ruffled Heatherpaw's fur, making her shiver. As the leaders made their announcements about their new apprentices and warriors, an odd feeling distracted her. Ordinarily, she would have felt happy for the other clans with their news, but something was blocking her thoughts, making her paws tingle and her mind spin. Is it the amount of wolves in the clearing? Or even the cold? But to honest, there was no point in trying to guess. She had no idea. Her tail gave an odd little twitch as her gaze fell on the blood coloured male, Direpaw, and Moonpaw, further down in the clearing. Or maybe it is them? She turned around and fixed her warm blue eyes on her handsome friend (Swiftpaw, obviously ^u^). It felt awkward or even tense surrounded by all of these wolves, listening in on everything that was said, and monitoring their every move. I know one wolf is anyway... Though she made no attempt to voice her thoughts and waited silently for the next leader to make their announcements.

Nightpaw listened intently on the news from the other clans. That's good..., she thought, listening to the news of more apprentices and plentiful prey. Lots of prey won't be for much longer..., she thought worriedly, looking down at the dew strewn grass.

Swiftpaw watched the clan leaders talk he felt kind of happy to see such great leaders all in the same place, he thought to himself one of these days I'll be up there talking about thunderclan he smiled at Rainstar she probably won't see him but he didn't care. He looked over to heatherpaw who looked a bit uncomfortable. "What's up princess, you cold or something?" Swiftpaw quietly whispered to her.

Heatherpaw nodded and whispered back, "Yes, i guess so." The moonlight shone down from the sky and created a circle around the hollow, causing every wolfs pelts and eyes to shine. She shuffled her paws slightly and fluffed out her fur, now resembling something more of a 'puffball' than a wolf.

Swiftpaw smiled he looked beyond heatherpaw and looked at the red eyed male and the other female. Then he licked he's chest and looked up at the clan leaders. He pressed against heatherpaw as she felt quite cold.

"well, I can help if you two are cold."she said and curled her tail around both of them.

She smiled as Graystar announced the three pups to be apprenticed. It calmed her to know that they finally got what they deserved. Her pelt prickled as she noticed Magmafeather slip out of the crowd. Hopefully he wasn't sensing any danger especially with all these vulnerable pips here.

Skypaw smile faltered for a moment, "I don't know. Happy. Sad. Frustrated," the she-wolf let out a deep sigh and pressed her flank against the male's. "Too many things are happening all at once and it's hard to keep up." As she said this she listened to the leaders talking, though it was muffled, and Russetstar saying that Tall had become a warrior. Her smile returned fully to her friend - okay, not friend but she knew they weren't mates, "You never said you weren't a paw anymore!"

Shadepaw focused on the leaders. Trying to be proud when his name had been announced as becoming the medicine wolf apprentice. His head was all confused in a wonderful bundle of jumble. His head throbbed. He'd need herbs for that. Did they have an herb for that? Hmm, oh well, he knew herbs would take his mind off of Silver. What did it mean?
