Sunclan & Windclan

the border between Windclan and Sunclan, the space between the territories is rather large, however borders are still present

Dragonheart padded up and began remarking the scent borders of sunclan. her eyes drifted over to where windclan territory was and she bared her teeth a little. she was feircly defensive of sunclan territory. lashing her tail she waited for tealpaw her apprentice to appear.

Tealpaw had finally caught up, getting lost even for a few times, and losing Dragonheart's scent. "I'm here!" She squealed, and plopped down on the field where his mentor was, catching up with her breathing. "Sorry I'm late, I got lost a few times." the apprentice admitted, and panted heavily, trying to regain her breath once again. Taking in a deep breath, the new scents filled her nostrils which made her blue eyes open fiercely. "All these scents..."

Dragonheart smiled "you did well tealpaw, i wondered if you would beable to find your way, you did very well". she flicked her tail and said "the moory rabbity scent is windclan scent.". she lifted her head and stared up at the sky beginning to cloud over.

Tealpaw was proud of herself, even if it was a simple task of finding her mentor in a place like the territories. She wanted to be the best apprentice she could, and try not to be her clumsy self half the time. Taking another gulp of the air, Dragonheart was right. The rabbit and the moor scent did sound like Windclan, so she went right to the border where the two scents collided, and looked upon the hills. "How do they live like that?" It was a simple and honest question. How do they live within the hills and not get caught?

"their pawpads arent tough like ours are, we arent swift like they are we are strong and have good stamina for climbing moountains and fighting on very uneven land. they have speedso they can catch prey like rabbits and hares easier than we can". she lashed her tail a little before she continued "but sunclan has the best bits of all the other clans, shadowclans night abilities, thunderclans sneaking through undergrowth abilities, riverclans swimming abilities and windclans build". she sat down and smiled a little.

Tealpaw listened intently, and nodded. The four clans, but that was five. "But I thought there were only four clans?" She asked, once her mentor had finished explaining. She had heard of Riverclan before, along with Shadowclan, but she had never heard of them existing until now. Maybe it was all a myth, but being born in Sunclan without any knowledge of the old clans, she was naive, and didn't know about the clan's past.

Dragonheart nodded. "When you were probably younger," She began. "There were indeed four clans. Shadowclan, Riverclan, Windclan and Thunderclan. But then our Direstar created Sunclan. All of the other clans were not happy. Some were and joined Sunclan. Then Shadowclan and Riverclan joined together and made Stormclan." She told the apprentice, trying to make it as clear as possible.

Tealpaw listened to the story intently, and when her mentor finished, she nodded. So, in the end, Sunclan was a hybrid clan along with Stormclan. So now everything made sense. "I see," she mentioned, and looked over to the moor that belonged to Windclan. What if she was born in another clan besides this one? What if she was born in Stormclan instead? All these random questions clouded her mind, but instead of dwelling on them, she decided to change the subject. "So, where should we go now?"

Dragonheart thought for a moment. "Since we were talking about new clans what about the Sunclan and Stormclan border?" She suggested. She shuffled her paw about in the snow and yawned.

Tealpaw nodded in agreement. She would like to see what the other hybrid clan looked like. "Sure thing!" She exclaimed happily, and looked around. She would have gone off already, but this was Tealpaw's first excursion, so she knew almost nothing about the Sunclan territory. "Um, lead the way?" She asked, and chuckled, as she was embarrassed.

Streakfire padded in. She looked at Dragonheart were going somewhere. "Dragonheart. Did you know that Moonwhisper died yet?" She looks away, then marks the borders. She sighs. They left and they didi not hear her.

Snowflower arrived. She marked the borders than tried to spot a familiar figure. She was looking for her sister, EbonyFur. But what she didn't know was that Ebony was back at camp nursing some pups. Suddenly, Streakpaw appeared. Snow didn't know Streak had already gotten her warrior name. "Hello Streakpaw.'she smiled. "Wait what?! Moonwhisper is dead?"she said in shock.

Streakfire looked up suddenly. "It's Streakfire now. And yes, sadly. She was giving birth to her pups when she died. Ebonyfur and I are nursing them."

Snowflower's eyes saddened. "Wait WHAT?! Ebony is nursing them?"she said in even more shock. "Is she well? Are YOU well? Are the pups well? Is everyone ok?"she asked rapidly. She asked it all in one breath.

She laughed. "You ask too many questions." She flicked her tail. "Ebonyfure, the pups, and I are OK." She smiled.

Snowflower let out a huff of relief. "A wolf has to feel worried you know."she said. "I'm sorry for Sunclan's loss of a good member."she frowned. Moon was her friend as well though.

Streakfire yawned. "I have a mate now, too! Guess who it is!" She flicked her tail.

"Um....Oak?"she guessed. "I was just guessing randomly."she said. "I've just made friends with Duskfang. You know how he is right?"she asked. "I'm actually glad I did. He has brightened up a lot since then."she smiled.

"Yes it is Oak. Really? I think he likes you, but that is my opinion." She smiled.

Snowflower chuckled. "There's no way someone has a crush on me."she smiled. "Beauty and persona isn't what counts."she said. "It's the bond you share."she smiled. "So, you and Oak have a strong bond."she smiled. "I might be 3/4 near Duskfang."she said. "Well, that's what I think."she smiled.

"We do." She smiled. "There is nothing to do at camp though. Since i'm always in with the pups, I can't spend time with Oakthorn. This is the first time i've been out in a couple days.

"Ah. I see."she said. "So, how is SunClan?"she asked. "And how is Direstar with the death of Moon?" she asked. "Is he doing fine?"she asked.

"He is doing better than I expected. I just get bored." She flicks her ears and tail. "We have a lot of hawks flying around the camp."

"Hmm..."she pondered. "Don't let pups go out too far."she said. "It would be a tragedy if one of them got carried off by a hawk."she frowned. "And sad as well."she said.
