Sunclan & Windclan

the border between Windclan and Sunclan, the space between the territories is rather large, however borders are still present

Heatherstar was slightly surprised by Swiftstreak's sudden change of attitude towards the conversation, as he had been the wolf who asked about Mosseybreeze initially, but shrugged away the thought as he continued. "I think that the sooner we attack, the better. The longer we leave it, the more chance and time they have to prepare themselves if word does some how get out, and if they are too well prepared, we might not stand as much of a chance against them." Sitting down she gazed at Swiftstreak and Direstar quizzically, silently asking their opinions on her own thoughts concerning the matter in question. She was not too concerned about Bluepaw as he disappeared because she knew that the medicine wolf apprentice was more than capable of looking after himself.

Direstar raised his lips at Bluepaw and said in a cold voice "i was not oohing and ahhing over females Bluepaw. Am i not allowed to love again after moonwhisper passed? I gave mossey a second chance because that is what sunclan is about. i will not betray windclan because it was the place i grew up". his blood red eyes watched the two with disappointment "It disappoints me to have you all think so poorly of me. It seems that no matter where i go i always do wrong. the clans all hate sunclan" his eyes shone with sadness "am i not allowed to patrol my borders swiftstreak? No female is worthless, no wolf is worthless and all wolves deserve a second chance, even my own son Sunstrike". his tail lashed and he stood saying "when you have all decided to trust me let me know, also send word if you are planning to join the others and attack us". his eyes glittered with pain as he turned and limped back toward camp, his newly healed bones sending lightning bolts of agony through him.

Heatherstar watched in amazement as Direstar began an all-out speech, speaking to each wolf in turn and openly displaying his disappointment. The uncharacteristic frown formed again on her muzzle as she watched Direstar pad back to camp, and sat in silence for a few moments, clearly deep in thought. After a minute or two of deep thinking the WindClan leader quickly putting an end to her musing, straightened her back and regained her dominant posture, craning her head into the air. There was no point in sitting here, dwelling on the SunClan leader's words. They needed to get back to camp so that she could speak with Snowflower and her more seasoned warriors about what had been discussed here. Turning and beckoning Swiftstreak after her with a swiftand silent flick of her tail, the small and elegant female trotted back to camp, her tail flicking out behind her as she went.

Swiftstreak sighed, a little he was wrong in judging the sunclan leader. As he got up drifting apart from heatherstar to ponder on what happened and the events that will surely happen soon the male let out a sigh. As he stalked towards camp.

Snowpaw quickly trotted in front of her mentor. She sat down and gazed across the border. She scented Windclan across. She blinked and flicked her tail. "Thats where Direstar is from." She turned back at her mentor. "Isn't it?" She blinked her brown eyes.

Snowpaw nodded. She quickly scented the air. Snow then crawled forward. She stopped at a very strong scent. She glanced at her mentor. "Is it here?"

Snowpaw dipped her head at her mentor. "Good note." Snowpaw swiveled her head around. "What now?"

Snowpaw nodded. She dashed back to camp. Hey tail trailing after her in the breeze. She smiled. The wind blowing in her fur.

Raggedfur trotted along the Sunclan border. He hadn't really realized where he was going, but his lip curled as he realized where he'd ended up. Raggedfur had never much liked Sunclan, but now he detested them. They were a bunch of weakling cowards with a founder who'd taken the cowards way out. Sitting down lightly and staring across the border, Raggedfur found himself almost wishing a Sunclan warrior came and invaded Windclan territory. That way, Raggedfur would be able to rip them apart and give them what they deserved.

Fernshade lifted her fur as she scented a Windclanner. She snorted and a talked forward. Wanting to see a puny wolf so she could snarl and make fun off. But narrowed her eyes at the sight of a dark furred brute. She snorted and flicked her tail. "Windclanners." She detested other clans. Even of they did have an alliance.

Every muscle in Raggedfur's body tensed as he caught wind of an unfamiliar scent. The snarl on his muzzle lengthened as he realized it was a Sunclan member. He got to his feet, eyes combing the undergrowth until his eyes landed on a dark-brown female. Tail swishing back and forth, Raggedfur wished desperately that she would cross the border. He was just itching for a fight, and her snide remark did nothing to calm his overreactive nerves. "What'd you say?" Raggedfur snarled, calling out to the female across the invisibile scent line that divided their territories.

Fernshade watched the wolf. A grin crept up her muzzle. "Who wants to know?" She flicked her tail and watched the wolf. Hopefully wanting to provoke him.

Raggedfur knew the she-wolf was trying to provoke him, but right now he didn't care. He'd put up with too much drama the past few days to pass up an opportunity, and right now was a prime one. If this idiot wanted a fight, she was going to get one. Raggedfur wouldn't let up because she was a female, either - stupid idiot oughta have enough sense to know who he was and that getting under his skin wasn't a good idea. "I do, obviously," Raggedfur snipped, his cold voice a harsh contrast against her calm and manipulative one. He took a step towards the border, eyes trained on the Sunclan warrior. "But I'd guess you're too much of an idiot to realize that."

Fernshade chuckled,then flicked her ears. "Haven't had any drama lately." Fernshade then sat down,and tilted her head curiously. She dropped her hair,sheathed her claws,and shoved her snarl down her throat. "Well for one thing,by the hate in your eyes,you probably don't want to know,Windclanner." She flicked her ears and blinked. "I'm Fernshade,and you are?"

Raggedfur was slightly surprise as the females anger vanished and she introduced herself as if they hadn't been on the brink of combat moments before. His anger ebbed slightly, but Raggedfur remained tense and growling. He didn't respond to her right away, and when he did, his tone was harsh. "You're right," He snapped. "I didn't want to know." Cocking his head slightly, Raggedfur started at Fernshade. She had nerve, he had to give her that. "Its Raggedfur."

Fernshade raised her eyebrows. Surprised the wolf would even give her his name. She blinked and flicked her tail. Her voice echoing across the moors. "So,what brings you to the border." Frnshade flicked her tail. And narrowed her eyes.

Raggedfur didn't like this female. He didn't like how easily social she was, or how she could ask questions with such ease. Raggedfur had never been good in social situations - his constant fights and harsh retorts were proof enough - and now was no exception. More of his anger vanished to be replaced by awkwardness at talking to this female, who he'd never spoken to or generally seen before in his life. "Ain't none of your business, is it?" He grumbled, voice no longer so harsh.

Fernshade frowned,then flicked her ears. "Well right now,I'm in front of you.and part of your business." She felt her paws itch. Wanting to tear into the ground. Dashing through the forest. The wind on her fur,and her problems blown away. He dug her claws into the ground. Wanting to forget about her father's death. Although,she showed no frustration outward to Raggedfur.

Fernshade's words rubbed Raggedfur the wrong way. Even if it wasn't her intention, Raggedfur found himself instantly bristling as his anger was rekindled. His spine arched as he rose to his full height, eyes glimmering with irritation and muzzle twitching in the beginnings of a snarl. "You ain't got nothin' to do with my business," He spat at the female, paws flexing against the ground. "You don't know nothin' about me."

Fernshade stood up and barred her teeth back. "But I do,Raggedfur." She snorted. "Your hostile,your lonely. But you growl at every wolf you have no respect for." She raised her neck fur. The ends turned whitish in the sunlight. Giving her a bearish appearance.
She was also,very observant.

Raggedfur's snarl faltered slightly at Fernshade's cryptic words. Who did she think she was, prophesizing his every word and action like she knew him? Taking a step back, Raggedfur fixed the Sunclan female with a furious glare, his snarl redoubling as his anger returned. "You're an idiot," He reiterated, forcing himself not to be shaken by her words. "You don't know what you're talkin' about."

Fernshade didn't stop there. She took a step forward. Her brown pelt glowing in the warm sun. "And you would rather protect yourself rather than your clan." She snorted,then sat up. Putting down her fur again. But her eyes were narrowed in a glare. "You maybe loyal,but are afraid for yourself." Fernshade stopped there. Thinking the brute probably had enough. She flicked her ears and blinked.
