Sunclan & Windclan

the border between Windclan and Sunclan, the space between the territories is rather large, however borders are still present

Duskfang padded along the border, the scents of the two SunClan females Ebonyfur and Streakfire still thick in the air, indicating that they had not long ago ventured here. Though strong the scents were, there was a stronger still scent that lingered underneath them and which he recognised instantly to be the SunClan warrior, Tigerstorm. He had met the warrior at gatherings however had never really taken the time to talk to him. Good thing too. He thought darkly, swishing his tail through the air silently. Tigerstorm seemed like a very ambitious wolf. Too ambitious maybe, and that made him quite dangerous. The large WindClan male continued to padded along quietly, unaware that Tigerstorm was hiding in the undergrowth.

Tigerstorm watched closely, the ice in his veins flowing. He wanted to pounce- but not yet; for it was not the right time to strike. The blood would sink into his claws, his fur- his well... everything. He would be the ruler of the clans on day. He would take over. But one question rang in his mind: When would it be?

Duskfang rolled his broad shoulders as he came to a stand still and peered curiously across the border and into SunClan territory. Where is the male hiding and why? What is he doing? Questions circled in his mind like angry bees as they prepared to attack the source of their aggravation and after a moment more of searching Duskfang decided that enough was enough. "Hello?" he called tentatively.

Tigerstorm laughed a bit devilishly. He was luckily surrounded in bushes. He jumped into the next one and behind a tree. He climbed, hoping to intimidate the wolf. Pint trees. he thought, jumping along the branches. She smiled and said, "Up here."

Duskfang growled irritably as the wolf proceeded to tease and torment him, jumping from tree to tree in his attempts to confuse him. His fur bristled. "What on earth are you doing?" He snapped quickly, some of his old temper beginning to creep back in. What was this male doing, behaving like an immature pup? He greatly disliked the SunClan wolves, and however much he respected Heatherstar's decision to form an alliance with them, it did not mean that he had to like it or them. The male's royal blue eyes darted back an forth as he continued his search.

Tigerstorm growled and jumped out of the tree. "Plotting... plotting... Plotting my dear friend. You don't know why." He smiled widely, showing his sharp and large teeth.

Snowflower arrived. Her gaze was on the wolf in the trees. "Ok....who put the wolf in a tree?"she asked. She glanced at her mate, then to the wolf. "Were they arguing? fighting?"she thought to herself.

Tigerstorm spreads his toes, showing his bloodstained claws. He glances at Snowflower. "Welcome..." he sneered. He licks his teeth on the left side.

Tigerstorm smiled. "It's for me to know..." he paused, jumping outta the tree. "And you to find out!" He held his head high, looking down at the older warrior. He slides his paw along the fae's side without hurting her. He turns, running to the waterfall for his next victim.

Duskfang flicked his tail in acknowledgment of his mate's arrival and continued to glare at Tigerstorm, his gaze hard and penetrating. Plotting? Plotting what? He mused carefully as the other male announced his thoughts before giving a sly greeting to Snowflower as she came into sight. Growling venomously as the brite swiped his paw against Snowflower's side he felt every hair on his pelt again begin to bristle with rage. How dare he do such a thing and then run away? A true warrior in these circumstances would have stayed to fce the consequences, but no, he ran away like a filthy coward! Cowardice. That's what all SunClan wolves possessed most strongly in his opinion; they were too afraid to stand up for themselves so just ran away like chickens. Turning to Snowflower he nosed her side gently, feeling for any damage that Tigerstotm might have inflicted. He would be sure to get the warrior back someday, and hopefully, someday soon.

Jadepaw scanned the area for the familiar pelts of her clan-mates. Spotting both Duskfang and Snowflower at the border, she ran over to them and flattened her ears warily. "Hey..." She barked as she came with-in earshot and she lowered her head. "Anything interesting happen that I've missed?" She asked and cocked her head to the side.

The large lone fae walked the distance as if nothing happened. As if there was no life, no misery, no sadness. Streakfire had a different life, and she was beginning to enjoy it. I'll need a fresh-kill pile if I'm to survive. she thought, raising her mussel into the air. She smelled a few mice and voles; that would do. She slowly stalked, walking in the low underbrush following a vole. She swatted it up into the air, jumping up and biting it from there. The salty tang of the delicious blood filling her mouth.

Duskfang pulled his muzzle out of his mate's fur only once he was satisfied that no physical harm had come to her. Hearing rustling sound behind him on the SunClan side of the border he spun around, growling deeply as he expected to see the SunClan male, Tigerstrom, skulking back. He could see no one there so assumed that they were hiding again. "Who is there?" He called angrily, his tail lashing.

Jadepaw perked her ears and whipped around to face towards Sunclan territory. Duskfang had heard the rustling too and she lashed her tail threateningly. "Show yourself!" She growled and bared her teeth. She had become hostile ever since those evil wolves had attacks the patrol of her clan-mates and she'd fight to the death if she had to.

The fae emerged from the bushes. Streakfire said, "Don't worry. It's just me; hunting." She raised her mussel into the air for scents. She followed the scent of a vole. She slowly walked, her tail straight outward.
The female jumped outward onto the vole, snapping it's neck, killing it. She picked it up and placed it on the newly-made pile. She smiled happily.

Duskfang tapped his apprentice on the shoulder in a silent greeting with his tail when she approached. A figure emerged from the thick undergrowth and felt his fur flatten almost disappointedly as he recognised the SunClan female, Streakfire. "Hello Streakfire." He said, his voice deep and rusty as if he had not used it for a while, which wasn't true and proved rather misleading. "How are you?"

Jadepaw relaxed a little as Dusk put his tail on her shoulder and she saw that the Sunclan wolf was alone. Jade took and step back from the border and dipped her head in a silent greeting to the Sunclan wolf. She did not believe that she recognised this wolf and didn't know her name but don't dare ask. Duskfang knew what he was doing so she'd leave the talking to him.

The large fae looked up. She hadn't really known this male for long, but she replied anyway. "I'm fine. SunClan isn't, Direstar accepted the poor excuse of a wolf, the brat, the murderer MOSSEYBREEZE! That brat! She doesn't deserve to live; as she killed her own apprentice!"

Jadepaw's eyes widened and she lifted her lip in a snarl. "Who would murder their own APPRENTICE?" She growled and shot a nervous glance over at Duskfang. She never thought for one minute that he would purposely harm her, but then again, you never knew what went through other wolves' minds. Looking back over to the Sunclan wolf, she narrowed her eyes thoughtfully at the news of Direstar accepting this wolf into his clan. "Why would he let a murderer into the clan?" She asked, confused.

"Because. She's a brat that doesn't deserve a home that's why!" Streakfire growled angrily. "I chose to stay away from the clan for a little bit. I need to get stress off my shoulders, ya know."

The large brute slowly walked downwind in the bushes. He was completely silent, making no noise. He was like a statue; the only movement he made was the blinking of his eyes and his breathing. He crouched in the bush, still making no noise whatsoever. He silently watched Streakfire, Snowflower, Duskfang, and the little apprentice Jadepaw. Well, at least she was small compared to him.

Duskfang narrowed his eyes as Streakfire delivered the news of the murderer joining the Clan and flicked his tail. It made no sense to the brute why Direstar would accept such a wolf into the Clan, but then again, why did Direstar do anything? He would be carefully to give Mosseybreeze a wide birth if he ever met her; he didn't want to befriend a murderer. He snorted inwardly.

Tigerstorm snorted silently. What were they doing? Surely they must be talking about something. He heard inward about the conversation about that brat Mosseybreeze. True... true...

The over-sized fae looked around. Silence... Not very good I suppose. she thought, with a shake of her head. I must find a place to stay! But in what territory?
