Old ShadowClan Camp

A camp is a site where a Clan makes its permanent home. It is where the wolves sleep, meet, bring fresh-kill,get treated for injuries or illness, receive orders, and make reports to the Clan leader or deputy. Some wolves, such as queens, kits and elders stay in the camp, while the warriors, deputy and leader patrol the territory and hunt. Each Clan has one camp.

ShadowClan camp is surrounded by prickly brambles and bushes and hidden in a well-concealed hollow. There are constant patrols sent out and the camp and borders are fiercely guarded. There is a small, always guarded path leading to and into the camp. The leader's den is located underneath a large oak tree. You must gain entrance and not enter the den without permission. Near the edge of the clearing of camp there is a large, smooth boulder used for meetings and announcements. Right next to that boulder, there is a smaller rock. Underneath this rock is a cave where the Medicine Wolf resides. Sick and injured Clan members visit and get aid there. The warrior's den is located underneath bramble bushes and is lined with moss and pine needles. There is also another thorn bush. This is the nursery where new born pups and their mothers live until the pups have grown.

Despite the fact that RiverClan and ShadowClan had combined, both camps are still used frequently by each Clan.

Shadestar looked at the small, darkly furred pup curiously. Medicine? Why would he need medicine? He was perfectly fine. The male looked down at the white-furred female who was looking up at him, who had been talking to him for a long while and said he was her sister. How could that happen? He had never even been here before! A thought entered his mind: what if they were trying to give him choice herbs that would hurt or kill him? What if they were trying to sacrifice him for something? The male leader growled and stayed right where he was, even crawling backwards a little bit in order to get away from all of them. There was no way he would do anything they said!

Lightdawn whispered more things to Shadestar and he nodded and seemed to understand what she was saying, but it didn't help. No recognition was still in his eyes, nothing to signify that what she was saying was truly helping. What else could she do? Her failure weighed down on top of her shoulders, she couldn't even help her own brother. She heard quick pawsteps as one pup addressed Shadestar and told him to move, then Nightfeather came up as well. Lightdawn nodded her head no at the question. With a dejected look in her eyes, Lightdawn laid her head on top of her paws and looked up at Shadestar.

"Relax Shadestar, we're not trying to kill you or anything," Nightfeather said. She had hoped that he would have taken it without a struggle, but now it seemed liked getting him to take the medicine would be much harder than she had expected. The warrior was too busy thinking about such things for the words of Silentpup registered in her mind. Going to the WindClan and ShadowClan border.. that was fine, wasn't it? But, no, Silentpup was a pup, going after another pup. That certainly was not okay with her. "What? No!" she said, sounding both alarmed and annoyed. She looked over at Lightdawn. "I'll be back," Nightfeather growled. The darkly coloured female turned and quickly trotted out of the camp, after the two pups.

Ravenpup picked up the rabbit and turned, she walked over to shadestar and smiled as innocently as she could. she gave a short pupish giggle and said "hello, im Ravenpup!" she frowned up at him "you look hungry i caught this and i was wondering if you would eat it for me! im not big enough to eat it all" she smiled up at him her midnight blue eyes adoring she nudged it towards him, she knew that he wouldnt be able to taste the medicine within the rabbit.

Shadestar looked at the small pup suspiciously. "I can catch my own food, thanks." he said, standing up and walking away from the pup and towards the entrance of camp. Would they try to stop him if he left now? Perhaps it would be for the best if he did. Obviously these wolves were out to get him for some reason, saying he was the leader of this 'Clan' when he didn't even remember being here before!

Ravenpup snorted and grabbed the rabbit and ran to stop him, a pleading filled her eyes "please.... please" she staredup at him with a beseechment in her eyes.

Skypaw eyed her mentor as he walked towards the camp entrance. She'd been sitting there for a while listening to the other wolves talk to and about Shadestar and about how he seemed to have forgotten everything about the Clans and his leadership. Frustrated that the older male was not even trying to listen, Sky shot up at once and bounded in front of her leader. "You're not going anywhere," she growled warningly, "Not until you remember where you are who we are!"

Lightningflash noticed that Shadestar was being a bit suspicious, wary, and a little stubborn. She yawned, stretched, and padded over to him, nudging Skypaw to the side. "Excuse me Skypaw." She said quietly. She sat and looked at Shadestar. "Look. We have no plans to hurt you or anything of that sort. The clear and simple truth is that you and Nighfeather, anothe warrior, were tracking a bear that was in our territory. I followed to help. Well we found the bear. It was a mother with one cub. We were able to drive it away with minimal injuries except that you were nocked to the side by it. You lost your memory and now we are tryin to get you to remember. I'm Lightningflash. You are Shadestar. This female right here," she said, flicking her tail toward Lightdawn. "Is Lightdawn, your sister." She said. Her voice was calm and a little kind, a strange thing or the female considering she was neither calm not kind on the inside.

I fact, if someone who didn't know her saw her behaving this way, they would think she was a kind and simple wolf, quite the opposite of her true self. The female then said. "You can choose to trust me or not but what I say is the truth." She added, her voice firm yet still gentle. She looked at him, everything about her screaming truth and honesty. She glanced at her clanmates. /I wonder if they don't even trust my little act of kindness.../ she thought for a moment before placing her calm blue eyes on her leader.

Skypaw glared at Lightningflash and gave the other she-wolf a small growl and snip to the chin before moving out of the way. She padded a few fox lengths from the two before she sat down. With her fur still bristled and not going down any time soon, Sky allowed her tail to lash. What did Lightningflash think she was doing? Acting all sweet and caring. White tail smacking the ground the apprentice looked away from the two older wolves.

Lightningflash cast a slight glare at Skypaw, her claws scratching the earth just a tiny bit. But the she-wolf just flicked an ear at the apprentice. After checking herself to make sure she showed herself still somewhat nice, she looked again at Skypaw, a look that was a challange. Basically, she was telling Skypaw that if the apprentice wished to fight, so be it. But here and now was not the time or place. With that look, she turned back to Shadestar to await his reply, her whole self still calm and sweet.

Skypaw replied to Lightningflash's look and a mocking mouth movement before she got up and began to pace to get rid of some pent anger. She was still snappy at Shadestar for treating her like a pup at the strange twoleg place with Tallfeather and now the female warrior was just getting her riled up. The white she-wolf let out an angry snort.

Ravenpup nosed the rabbit over to lightningflashed and blinked at her then at it silently saying that the medicine was within it. she then smiled childishly up at shadestar and giggled lightly she walked over to shadestar and began lightly licking his fur tryin to help calm him down.

(Everyone can move to the Fourtrees, we'll pretend that the events at fourtrees happened after this did since it might take a while).

Shadestar wasn't dumb, they seemed to think he was though. With the fake sweetness that even a pup could see through, or the small pup that pretended to care for him. He snorted, and jumped back quickly when the pup came up to touch him. "Stay away from me." he growled, jumping back quickly and moving backwards closer to the entrance of the camp. He could leave at a moments notice, none of them would stop him!

Skypaw looked over at Shadestar when he snapped at Ravenpup. Her patience was growing thin with the leader. She jumped over and in front of the male with a hard glare, "Why won't you remember?!" she growled, "Is it that you want to forget us? Are you afraid to know how much we all care about you? Don't you care what we want for you? That we may actually want you back to normal?"

Ravenpup tilted her head. her genuine worry and care for her leader broke through some of the fear in him. she sat down and sighed staring up at him, her eyes beseeching. her tail flapped against the ground as she said queitly "i dont mean you any harm, im only a pup what could i do?"

Shadowpup was watching about. Board out of his mind. "Ravenpup, want to play a game?" He asked.

Ravenpup ignored shadowpup, she didnt want to play she wanted to help her leader for starclans sake! she sniffled her wet black nose and stared up at shadestar hoping that he would understand that she only wanted to help him.

Shadowpup frowned and he debated sneaking out of camp.
-Gathering-

Silentpup entered the camp. He saw Shadestar arguing with the other wolves that were trying to help him.
"Well at least he can remember to talk." He whispered to Ravenpup. He then walked over to Shadestars to say his words.
"Shadestar. If you eat these herbs then you can become leader of the clan again, as you are. You can boss us about and tell us what to do. You can hunt and share tongues with the other wolves. The way you're acting is like you dont like your own members of your own clan. Please eat these herbs or you will stay like this forever. Not even knowing your own name. Now i know im just a pup and so is Ravenpup but that doesnt mean we cant help you. Trust the other members too Shadestar and PLEASE eat those herbs!" Silentpup snapped.

"I might not care much about this guy but he has a point, I'd rather talk to you or someone else other than listen to this one rant all day and night."she said and giggled cheekily, "So, please.. eat the herbs so you can lead the pclan again."

Shadestar snapped at one of the pups. "I don't know who any of you are, I was taken here as a prisoner and I just want to leave. I don't trust any of you!" He exclaimed, growling, and stepping backwards once more towards the entrance. What were these wolves talking about? Their terminology was so foreign and completely unknown to him. What was a rogue? He was a leader? Of a Clan? What were they talking about, he had only just met these wolves! This had quickly changed from a peaceful situation to some kind of aggressive one, they were beginning to turn on him and attack him when he mentioned leaving the camp!

Silentpup made his way over to Nightfeather.
"Why dont we just hold or pin him down and force the herbs into his jaws?" He whispered

Silentpup nodded at Nightfeather respectfully. Though it was a great idea! He thought to himself.
"Nightfeather is right Shadestar. I also ran over all of the territory to find these few herbs and it took hours. It wouldnt be that nice if you didnt eat it. And if you prefer the berries that can kill you over those herbs, be our guest."
