Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the Clan wolves have held their Gatherings at since the early days of the Clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when wolves from different Clans want to meet outside a Gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock.The Clan leaders use it to look down on the Clans and share their news during Gatherings

Jaystreak stalked over to the female. [CoatHonor] She sat down next to her and quietly paid attention to Cherryblossom.

"Here at Fourtrees, we all must get along. But you are welcome to join me in the shade of the trees," Riversong whispers, and walks toward the trees, staring down at her blue-gray feet.

"What do you want?" she grimaced at the wolf that decided it had permission to sit right next to her. "Go to your own friends. I'm fine by my own - thanks. If you were looking for an apology though, I am sorry to inform you that I don't have one," she crested as she tuned a quiet yip from her jaws as a warning.

Jaystreak simply ignored her as she sat quietly watching the leaders. She slightly shut her eyes and smirked at the female. "I am Jaystreak. So you know for future references."

The wolf returned the smirk and cascaded away to sit alone. "My name you shall never receive."

Owlfrost listened to the hubbub as the rest of the clans gathered, content to watch the preceedings with Snakepup. "It's nice to get to talk with other clans now and then, as long as no wolf forgets to mind their temper," she said to him, truly enjoying the chance to get to know the energetic young pup. As if on cue, the growing started. Sharp eyes turned toward the source, though she made no move to say a word. Let them have their scuffles, so long as it didn't turn to claws and teeth, she'd have no part. Gathering's were a place for comraderie and peace, not letting your fur get fluffed at the slightest things.

And then the leaders began to talk and the growling at least muted itself. Owlfrost's attention was thereby captured, listening and nodding along with the reports, glad to hear that the clans all seemed well and that the recent storm had not seemed to harm anyone.

Skypup wrapped her tail around her body and cautiously scooted closer to Apachepaw. All the wolves around her made her slightly uncomfortable and having physical contact with someone she knew helped somewhat. Sky turned her gaze from the strange wolves to the leaders on the Great Rock.

As Cherryblossom stepped back, Stonestar gave the female deputy a swift nod. Even if she was from a different clan, Stonestar had thought she had done a fine job, addressing the others…especially when so many seemed to be bickering amongst themselves. Hopefully, he would be able to do the same. Inching further to the edge of the rock, Stonestar looked evenly down upon the wolves below him. His tone was clam as he addressed them all and told of how Windclan fared.

“Windclan is of a decent size, but we are strong even with the numbers we have. We have two fine pups that will soon be made into apprentices, and no evident signs of danger have been found. And although, Spottedstar is no longer the leader of Windclan...with the guidence of Starclan and the current members of Windclan, I hope to be just as good of a leader as she was. ” Now finished, Stonestar stepped back into the same position he had previously been in before he had spoken.

Jaystreak rose her head in defiance. She smiled widely and looked at her deputy with pride. Nothing was stopping Jaystreak in her tracks.

Silverpup's paws shuffled nervously. She was a bit overwhelmed by the numbers of wolves in this clearing. Her eyes glanced around the wolves many different smells and sizes and shapes. Looking back at the front she decided to listen and find out about the other packs. But she longed to chat and play.

Cherryblossom sat back down and listened to the windclan leader, while looking down at the wolves below with a smile, she was calm.

(Occ: how can you see me....... stalker..just kidding...but seriously creepy....)

A rustle and the arrival of a pup fostered her concentration into something akin to a distraction.
"Can you not stand still, up?" she said to the young wolf. (Silverpup)

Silverpup looked at the new wolf. She silently studdered "Sorry I'm just a bit nervous." Stopping her paws and once again looking around.

"It's alright. I just thought that the leaders would appreciate it. You can be with me... there's a few wolves around who aren't very kind," she huffed, musing her words quietly.

Silverpup looked back at the wolf and nodded. Plus the wolf was probably right there was probably wolves here that might be unspeakably rude. So she smirked joyfully and refocused her attention.

Jetpup, growing weary of JayStreak's feuding with another wolf, huffed, furrowing his eyebrows in disproval of his fellow ThunderClan member, before padding closer to the rock in which the clan leaders had gathered. He positioned himself under where Cherryblossom was sitting much higher up, extending his neck to look at her with a smile. This female was much nicer that JayStreak, and he had taken a liking to her.

Cherryblossom looked down again and saw Jetpup below her, she wagged her tail and smiled widely at him in a silent greeting, she then looked toward the shadowclan leader and tilted her head, wondering if he was going to speak.

Jaystreak frowned and stalked toward the back if the clan. She gazed at CherryBlossom with a frown.

Shadestar saw the female wolf, apparently the Deputy, step up, and how the other warrior of ThunderClan was clearly hostile. He grimaced. It was always the ThunderClan wolves causing trouble. "Starting something at a gathering isn't the best idea. StarClan is watching here." he pointed out. "Keep your petty feuds to yourself and discuss it later, I don't want to hear it." He lazily rolled his eyes and listened quietly to the announcements of the other leaders. Finally, it was his turn. He stepped up. "Greetings, wolves of all Clans." he began. "We were not very affected by the storm when it passed by and have quickly recovered. Apachepaw and Lightningpaw are now apprentices, with Nightfeather and Moonlightmelody their mentors. Additionally it has been decided that Skypup will become an apprentice... And I will be her mentor." That was all he said, he then stepped back and let the talking continue. He saw something at the corner of his eye, a tall figure. Multiple of them, actually. What were they doing?

Suddenly he felt extremely sleepy and collapsed against the rock, knowing nothing.

I gasped as the dark wolf collasped in the midst of the gathering. She whipped her head around and saw the large tall figures. They were nothing like any of the wolves here. They were something else beasts. Suddenly she too felt dizzy and sleepy. Her body crumbling before her she blacked out.

Skypup's left ear went down on her head as Shadestar announced that she would become and apprentice and that he would be her mentor. She bowed her head slightly but looked up when someone gasped just in time to see her leader collapse. She whipped her head to the side only to see stance tall figures gathering around the wolves. Sky suddenly became dizzy, her body swayed back and forth for a moment before she, too, collapsed at her friend Apache's paws.

Moonlightmelody sat to the side as the packs came into some sort of argument. Shadestar made his announcement, but the dark female felt more like staying to the side for once.

It was when drowziness came over her that she began to sway. This was unusual, wasn't it? Unable to keep her eyes open, she fell forward and into sleep.

Owlfrost swelled with pride as Stonestar addressed the assembled wolves: pride for her clan, for the two pups soon to be apprenticed, for all the future held. As a warrior, Stonewhisper had been loyal, hard working, good hearted--there was no doubt in the she-wolf's mind that he would be every bit as good a leader as he had been a warrior. WindClan was in the best of paws, StarClan had assured that when they had indicated he should lead them.

Listening intently as Shadestar then gave his report, she was glad to hear that indeed, each Clan faired well. Unlike some, who might enjoy seeing another Clan struggle, Owlfrost personally enjoyed knowing each was well. Happy Clans meant fewer skirmishes, which meant her own clanmates would be safe and content. It was a win win for all involved.

As the darker pelted leader finished, Owlfrost waited for the signal that the gathering was over. With the formal announcements finished, there was usually time for a few final conversations and goodbyes before heading home. However, none seemed to come: instead, wolves began to drop off to sleep, seemingly all at once. Hardly aware of the phenomenon, Owlfrost joined them, sinking to her paws.
